I feel like both combos were really complimenting the chosen ingredients until Link picked the Oreos.
With the unsweet PB and apricot jam I would've gone for the toasted bread.
That said if Link had picked toasted, then I feel Rhett should've picked the fruity pebbles to best combine with the jam he has,
so Link would;ve been left with Oreos anyways.
Though I feel that on toasted that would work better since everything will melt together a bit more.

I think the issue with the Oreos was the size of the pieces. Had it been more of a crumble so he could just get a sprinkling, it would've worked.

I was thinking that. It didn't really make sense to have that option if it was possible to get neither because then it's default untoasted.
It caused link to be left with a lot of the odd choice stuff though, and that was kind of funny.

A toasted PBJ is magical
If you haven't tried this you should. Use 3 slices of bread and only toast the middle piece. Have PB&J on both layers.

I have a suggestion for this game. When there are only 2 options for a certain staple ingredient (Bread, Peanut Butter. Toasted/Untoasted, Jelly), when one of those is picked, the other one automatically goes to the other person, but then it is still the other person's turn. Otherwise the 2nd person is stuck with the leftovers or risk getting none of that item and so they are constantly picking second.
I thought the same thing but I also, reluctantly, have to admit that I loved it when Rhett double-cheesed himself making chili…also when he “stuck Link” with all the bread when they made breakfast sandwiches. Those moments would not have been possible if this rule is to be “strictly” enforced. 😂

I don’t mind the strategy of them hoarding ingredients but the toasted thing threw me. Like if you get bread, but the other guy takes both toasted and untoasted, then what the heck do you do with your bread

Link had the opportunity to put an extremely small amount of the Fruity Pebbles and Oreos on his sandwich and boy did he mess that up big time.

I regularly have my PB&Js with one side toasted (the pb side) and the other untoasted (jelly cause it melts quickly on toasted half)

As an Australian, I can confirm that you are absolutely INCORRECT about us liking peanut butter sandwiches. The thing that is weird to us is SWEET peanut butter. That’s not a thing and peanut butter and jelly (Jam in Aus) didn’t really become a thing until very recently. Love your content guys 👏🏼👏🏼

I toast my PB&J as both slices, but one goes in with the extra crunchy peanut butter already applied. This way the pb can melt as the bread toasts, and it'll be warm when you put the cold jelly on the other piece. Put those together and WOW.
Australian here, peanut butter sandwiches are perfectly normal, it's the peanut butter and jelly we don't generally do/find odd

Ironically, those scented Christmas tree car air freshners already exist... why I don't know.
Technically Rhett cant choose toasted since he chose untoasted because if he did, hed have to do one slice not toasted and the other toasted. It would also make it a paradox or something because link cpuldnt do toasted or untoasted which would make his bread choice disqualified. I think in future they should have to pick bread and toasted or untoasted at same time.
