Thanks for this, I just made this for the family tonight and it is really really delicious! I used Tamari instead of soy sauce since that’s what I had on hand and I added a skoche of brown sugar since the peanut sauce was pretty full on salty.
This looks amazing! And so simple…I was wondering if I could sub sunflower seed butter for the pb bc I’m allergic to peanuts? Ugh! If not, any other suggestions that wouldn’t be nut based? Thanks!
Maybe Sherry vinegar or white wine vinegar or champagne vinegar. Or maybe you can just leave it out. It seems like this recipe has a lot of other good flavors.
what a delicious bowl of wonderfulness !!! I can see adding in anything - meats and/or more veg !!!! And I bet a few leaves of Thai Basil would be fabulous (I just discovered Thai basil and I LOVE it!) Thanks, as always, for sharing ... another great recipe for the book !!!!
This is so perfect, I've nothing prepped for dinner so the timing of this is perfect and, I have all the ingredients 😊, mmm making this now so hungry. Thanks Caleb 😍

Thanks, kiddo!!! I will definitely be adding this to my quick, delicious recipes…(for breakfast, mmm?)…a minor point for me, thanks for using the white of the green onion…so many RUclipsrs throw it away as if it’s only purpose is as a garnish!!! As an onion lover, it makes me cringe…

What a great use for summer garden herbs - thank you! I'd add mint too, with the basil and scallion.

Looks delicious I'm going to make it
This recipe is one of my go to’s when I’m out of ideas and the family loves it! I like to pair it with some bakchoy & fried tofu. Delish! 😋
Yesss! A crispy tofu would be delicious in here along with the addition of fresh mint to pair with the basil.
Love it make more this Asian weeknight meals 🙏

I think sunflower seed butter is a great sub
@@okorolina thanks!
I actually like it cold.
Ok, I'm adverse to the vinegar and definitely the fishy kimchi juice. Anyone have options or can they just be left out altogether?
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Looks awesome! What's a good substitute for the rice wine vinegar?
Maybe Sherry vinegar or white wine vinegar or champagne vinegar. Or maybe you can just leave it out. It seems like this recipe has a lot of other good flavors.
I just substitute it with regular white vinegar since we don't drink any alcohol and this definitely has plenty of purge flavors.
I’m shocked you didn’t add fresh ginger with the garlic.

i'm scared of anything called "funky".....unless it's something i'm already used to... i know it's pretty arbitrary but...
