This is the 1st vid of this type I’ve watched. Now I genuinely want to show my current iteration/mutation of my going 2nd destiny hero deck to a skilled yugioh player like jashua here, to hear the expert opinion. I have been recently trying to test using handtraps instead of kaijus/Santa to see if it will work better at securing my ability to otk while not conflicting with my DH cards like the kaijus do. I have also started testing out 1 copy of honest neos to see if it can be good or too clunky. And thus far I’ve had great success with that single copy of it. It definitely helps raise the consistency of getting enuf DMG while also just being good for boosting enuf DMG on board so I can beat over huge beat sticks and still OTK. In 1 of my test duels I did manage to put out around 26k and have 3 cards left in hand. My going 2nd DH deck is so unique compared to any other HERO variant I’ve ever seen that my build brings me joy for it being so different yet so potent for wat it’s purpose is. A “bad” hand in my deck is about as good as 99% of other HERO decks OTKs r like. When I see another HERO variant deck (dark HEROs, DH, EH, generic HEROs, etc, etc...) do 8-15k DMG for an OTK, I just think “oh how cute. That’s nice. But it’s kinda boring how little DMG u cud muster with so many cards. With that many cards in a similarly good hand against that same amount (literally 0) interruptions I cud have done like 40k++ DMG.” And no joke, thanx to the release of denier, Fusion destiny has become a 1-card OTK in dark HERO decks.
Corrections for the Rikka deck: 1) Too many normal summons. The correct mathematical amount of NS you should play when at 44 cards is 5. The Loci starter is superior, you want to see that one more. Reduce Petal to 2. 2) Play 3 copies of Rikka Konkon. Undisputable. 3) Play more copies of Therion "Lily" Borea or enjoy getting handtrapped/ Nibirued to death, which will happen especially in the upcoming format. Called By The Grave is at 1, you'll rarely see it and the "draw 2" off of Triple Tactics Talent is unfortunately rarely helpful if you've been handtrapped correctly or just more than once. This list plays head-first into every handtrap in the game. 4) Play closer to, if not equal to, 40 cards. This deck shines at maximum consistency. 5) D.D. Crow/ Ghost Belle is arguably better than the bystials as the bystials conflict with your Rikka Petal which is an important follow-up piece. You're not gonna out-bystial Dragons or Branded. 6) Zeus is a mistake. You actually require 3 Dryas for some combo lines or simply to play through handtraps. The standard extra deck is perfect, no need to adjust it. 7) Cut Ash Blossom, its mid at best against all relevant decks, Branded can put up Dragoon before they use Branded Fusion now. Against Labrynth its decent, but the summon off of the Welcome traps is the least of your concerns especially with Solemn Strike now being mained. If you want 44 cards, then I recommend 3 Imperm instead.
What would be the logic on 3 konkon? Seems like alone it doesn't do anything, and rarely the third in deck comes up. Also while I agree on closer to 40 I do think there is merit to the 60 card builds as it leaves bricks in the deck instead of you lr hand, and also you'd still have the same % of loci with the additional ways to get it.

If you open a hand with konkon but no rikka it's essentially a blank card. It's not that I'm underestimating it's power, but the card serves no purpose to open. Maybe going second( so you lost the dice roll) it can help if you open it with a rikka, but again every single combo the deck has allows you to search it.

You can banish any name though, ze is usually a good target and plays better through droll if you don't search ogre. If anything, it should just be there to search ze/deer if you need extension.
The only thing I can add to the spright brigade deck is that there is 0 need for gamma burst, starter alone is OTK with your oponent having 1 targetable monster
For the Rikka Sunavalon deck: I'd add more extenders like Rose Girl: which can facilitate Circle of the Faeries for an extra Normal Summon, A small Naturia Engine in the side that could bait handtraps and make a quick Beast, Cartorhyn to pitch for another Extra Normal Summon that syngergizes BEAUTIFULLY with all the aforementioned archtypes... ALL THIS TO SAY: Naturia Bamboo Shoot, Cactus Bouncer, PASS. (Also "Alesi, call GG EZ" is funny AF to call at Locals)
Not a P/GP player but the deck is pretty crazy going first. Rank 8 negate guy, can tag into PEP/Star Leon, trap into pin beller, searching ogre, and drawing 2 cards. Also searching the punk negate. All searchable. BLNT is searchable through ze Amin.
Unfortunately it doesn't work like that, no matter how good the player, this is a card game. Some decks are just not good enough to play. Heroes aren't awful this format but they aren't good either, there are plenty of deck profiles for you to find elsewhere.
As an Dragon Player i can say 3 Lubellion is a must because you either never see Lubellion and need to much ressources to put up the Regained and Beast because they are very powerfull and help you against Dark Ruler or Evenly. Unlucky if they hit him on the banlist. I think Magna to 1 and maybe Druis to 1 because its very enoying to deal with Druis every round when they side 2 more
The early idea with 2 silva was that when you go for a turn 1 hand loop, you spin 2 cards with the first silva, then 2 cards with the other and then the final card in hand would get ripped by ceruli. It's very logical, but to be fair modern yugioh will almost always use a hand trap that can kick your ass and stop your play. Ieg.. droll and shifter
scareclaw tri-heart won me a lot of games vs branded and some other decks who cant deal with it, and it gets you some time to recover in spright runick fur hire
I think Black Metal dragon is really good in D link right now. If you open Black metal + Seyfert then Dis Pater let’s you get to both really easily. It is also handy to open with to check for droll because you will still be able to make at least seals with it.
Sad that almost all deck doctor has dark world but every time the tops don't lnow correctly the deck, dark world has a normal summon, it's all your lvl 4 for dugares, he spoke about brow but he isn't played actually and trade isn't a good deal because it's a biiig ash target and requier a lvl to discard but yiu prefeir to keep tour danger and reeveal spell from allure and discarding spell isn't good. And the extra isn't good with 2 zeus, 2 grapha et sillva are mandatory you have to have it in rotation for the fusion and the card advantage normally yiu still maje apo+gryphon+fusion+muck even without ceruli it still a great board
I have a lot of problems with that Traptrix list, sorry if he's addressed some of these I had to pause the video when I saw it. 1) Exceed needs to be at 3, seeing an extra one in hand every tenth game isn't as bad as seeing Exceed in your hand is good. Run 3 so you see it more often. 2) No Wannabee, it reads like a good card but Traptrix really isn't gonna run enough Traps for it to be worth going first and they're usually setting up enough already which makes Wannabee a winmore, and running it to search an Imperm or Evenly going second is bad because the opponent's just gonna get rid of it before the BP. 3) The Therion package isn't worth in Traptrix. You're playing into Nib since you don't post up a negate for it until summon 7, it's heavily telegraphed and the entire line loses to an Imperm or Veiler at which point you're left with a Sera-less board and whatever pink cards you happened to draw in your opening hand. You're better off overlaying into Rafflesia on summon 5. Traptrix isn't a combo deck, people just want to play it as one and think the archetype is bad and overhyped when that doesn't work out. 4) I, personally, don't find Delusion to be worth. It's either a target pop at worst or it's an almost-Bottomless at best. There are better Holes to use instead of it. 5) Two Gravedigger in the main. You want at least one for a Rafflesia target in case of Nib, and you want at least one more in the Deck in case you end up actually having to Rafflesia the Nib. 6) I will always argue in favor of Cularia and Allomerus in the ED. Cularia almost guarantees you win the grind game and Allomerus sets up OTKs on turn 3 when combined with Atypus. 7) Apollousa jumpscare? How are you summoning this? If you make this you probably have the material on field to just win. Addendum: I'd recommend replacing the Therion package with 3x Prosperity for consistency. If that's too expensive, Traptantilizing Tune (the draw spell that comes in the structure) is deceptively strong in the deck. Regardless, if you don't have a Traptrix in your opening hand, you're not playing the deck, so a three-of consistency spell is key. I also like Joshua's idea to replace the Wannabees with Talents. Traptrix is notoriously agnostic towards most handtraps not named Ghost Ogre, so if they throw one at you Talents is basically just a free +1 for being mildly inconvenienced. Also it helps break boards going second. Personally I run Anti-Spell in those slots myself, Anti-Spell's great in this deck.
Want to add that allomerus also has the ability to be summoned with 3 traptrix, allowing for some easy 4 mat zeus. It came up for me like twice and it won me the game once
@@cantconrolit4444 This hasn't come up for me yet, but it is something I keep in mind. I also tech in an Honor ARK in my own list to get around the stray Mirrorjade or Ab Zero and get a free Zeus out of it.
josh is right with VS. you need to go greedy with pin point and stuff but its power is soooo low. even when it gets into the meta people will just play against it and its bad again. i have faith with the 2nd wave. the 1st only has 1 good card

I run traptrix ragnaraika as my fun locals deck and its gas! I don't play wannabee or the therion engine. The ragnaraikka cards make the otk easier and the grind game even stronger. Going second I run 2 dark ruler, 3 evenly, 2 talents, and 1 thrust along with 2ash, 2 ogre, 3 imperm, in a 44 card deck it's been working great for me

First thing i see about the gold pride punk deck in my opinion minus all the budget concerns 1 trap card in my opinion is just wrong with that many gold prides
As a sky striker player that deck was the definition of overkill, even for going second. I actually agree with the idea of going dark hole + harpies over raigeki or lightning storm, but honestly you only need two dark holes max, and you probably want to drop afterburners to 1 if you wanna run 2 darkholes. Playing dark ruler no more at 3 on main deck straight up doesn't make sense if you're running a deck with the specific intention of winning on turn two. If you're really concerned about towers then you're WAYY better off playing forbidden droplet or even herald of the abyss. Hell even a kaiju or the hamp striker make more sense.

Dinomorphia is super anouying to handle not only because rexterm floodgate effect also because farret flame. Sadly TCG only have 1 miscellneosaurus while OCG and MD have 3. If misc at 3 I will go 3 miscellneosaurus to to ensure my rexterm always protected to f@#k opponent up.
The problem with these is Josh is just going to tell you to play bog standard. He'll say things like I don't know if you need two cerulli. Come on josh, you KNOW you DONT need two cerulli. I wish he'd get guuier with these.

Strongly disagree with taking evil hero prodigy out of spright. The rest of the cards you said to take out I agree with cause its overkill but 2 prodigy is good to keep the deck from dying to its big weakness which is the normal summon getting removed from the field and you wont always open with starter.

I top my locals all the time with swordsoul, games 2 and 3 are critical because you need to side properly to give your swordsoul deck the gas it needs

The problem is never the searcher, it's the power cards. Mag and the other main one need to be limited.

First thing i see about the gold pride punk deck in my opinion minus all the budget concerns 1 trap card in my opinion is just wrong with that many gold prides
As a sky striker player that deck was the definition of overkill, even for going second. I actually agree with the idea of going dark hole + harpies over raigeki or lightning storm, but honestly you only need two dark holes max, and you probably want to drop afterburners to 1 if you wanna run 2 darkholes.
Playing dark ruler no more at 3 on main deck straight up doesn't make sense if you're running a deck with the specific intention of winning on turn two.
If you're really concerned about towers then you're WAYY better off playing forbidden droplet or even herald of the abyss. Hell even a kaiju or the hamp striker make more sense.

You need to play prosperity in vanquish soul. The deck is so vastly inconsistent that it doesn't work without it.
No you don't. It conflicts with Borger. Adding 3 Durendal still gives you about an 80% chance to access Razen in your opening hand.

Dinomorphia is super anouying to handle not only because rexterm floodgate effect also because farret flame. Sadly TCG only have 1 miscellneosaurus while OCG and MD have 3. If misc at 3 I will go 3 miscellneosaurus to to ensure my rexterm always protected to f@#k opponent up.

@@xCorvus7x you do lose your heavy borger draw for the turn and most list playing prospy do not play durendal or only play 1 so what you are trying to find is again mostly razen. that said, i did exaggerate in my first comment, prospy obviously doesnt suck, it definitely has a purpose, i just dont think its necessary or worth it a lot of times

Yes you can. You can treat Rexterm or Wannabee as a tuner since they are both Light and Dark.

Strongly disagree with taking evil hero prodigy out of spright. The rest of the cards you said to take out I agree with cause its overkill but 2 prodigy is good to keep the deck from dying to its big weakness which is the normal summon getting removed from the field and you wont always open with starter.
