Completely agree. All the big "iOS Reviewers" use the same tactics. "Confirmed", huge new features "to show you" that aren't released even in the betas, "they finally did it", "this is huge", "this changes everything", "whatever you do, don't upgrade until you watch this", and talking like they have an inside track with Apple. But it must work, because we all clicked on it. lol
When will they fix the battery drain on ios18. All a sudden I’m at 100% battery capacity on iOS 17.5. Upgraded to public beta ios 18 and now I’m down to 93%
please, please do yourself a favor and do not download the beta! ITS JACKED MY PHONE ALL THE WAY TO HELL! i'm getting up before work at 2 o'clock in the morning to plug it into my Macbook so I can restore it to my latest backup, I would rather have iOS 7 at this point...it looks awesome and there are some great features I've never seen before but things just don't work like they should, I use Siri a lot and the only response I've gotten from her,away from Wifi is, "oops something's gone wrong"... and when I try to search certain things, it tells me I don't have an internet connection, if you only use it on Wi-Fi, it's fine.. They did warn me not to install it on my daily device but what else am I gonna put it on? I don't just keep an iPhone in the closet to try out betas..😂 luckily I do have a back up and a macbook so there won't be too much love lost.. I'll just wait for them to release it to the Wild...

I'm updating from Public Beat 4 of IOS 17 to Public Beta 1 of IOS 18 Right now thanks for letting me know it's safe enough on my daily driver However i did do a backup of iOS 17
Do not try this on your primary device and if so,remember to backup your iPhone,doing this will save data in case you want to downgrade back to iOS 17,if you don’t backup and downgrade to iOS 17,then your Apple ID and everything will be erased completely,kinda like a new phone.
