- Want to know how to get pregnant with twins? Before I had twins myself, I always dreamed of having twins. So I googled the crap out of how to get pregnant with twins, what are the chances of having twins, tips to get pregnant with twins, get pregnant fast with twins, how to conceive twins naturally, etc...
In this video we will go over the overall chances of having twins naturally (spontaneously) and even get down into the odds of having identical twins, fraternal twins, and boy girl twins. After all of that is broken down I go into "how to get pregnant with twins". More specifically, tips on how to increase your odds of getting pregnant with twins. First, I go over uncontrollable factors. Some people naturally have higher odds of conceiving twins. Second, I review the controllable factors that can help you increase your odds of twins!!

Uncontrollable factors that increase chances of fraternal twins:
• Race: Being of African descent. People of African decent have a much higher likely hood of conceiving twins. With Hispanic & Asians being the least likely.
• Height: Being Taller (Over 5’5”)
• Weight: having a BMI over 30
• Runs in families: Being a fraternal twin yourself or have fraternal twins running in your family.
• Get pregnant over the age of 35. Your body is more likely to hyperovulate the older you get.
Controllable factors that increase your chances of having twins:

I am a fraternal twin and had fraternal twins. Growing up, my mom and everyone else in my family thought that twins skipped generations but that’s totally wrong for us women. I also ate yams about 4 times a week before getting pregnant not knowing it can help to hyper-ovulate. I was just trying to meal prep and stay healthy lol.
I never envisioned myself with twins, one baby was hard enough for me, but, I am grateful and I feel extremely blessed that I was chosen to conceive and raise twins.

I'm an identical twin. we shared one placenta and two sacks. I got pregnant with twins in March but it unfortunately ended in miscarriage at 14 weeks. They were momo twins, meaning one sac and one placenta. T'was an extremely high risk pregnancy. Doctors say that it was probably a chromosomal abnormality. They were developing right on target till they suddenly lost their heartbeats. I just delivered them almost 2 months ago and want twins so badly. Hope your video helps. Thanks!!!
Yesterday, I had my anatomy scan at 19 weeks 3 days. Instead of seeing ONE baby like we had seen at the dating ultrasound at 6 weeks 1 day... I’m having the super rare apparently IDENTICAL TWIN GIRLS. Completely spontaneous, I did none of these things, except drink and eat dairy??, and was completely blindsided by the news. Wish me luck, please!

I had twins 12 years ago. I got twins taking Clomid. It only took one round of Clomid to get me pregnant and to my shock i was blessed with twins.

😂😂 it's funny you mention the last part. I never wanted twins before but this last time we were trying and I was praying and speaking to my body about 1 just getting pregnant and 2 having twins. The very first month we got pregnant and just found out we're expecting twins. Now I didnt do anything except take my prenatal vitamin but my maternal grandmother was a twin too 🤷♀️ so just giving all the credit to God who put it in my genes and answered prayers!!
Feel so much better knowing I’m not the only one who wishes to have twins when the time comes.

I am one of the fraternal twins (girl - boy) and my mom was 42 when she conceived. She thought she was in menopause (her gyno told her), and then she started to feel weird. She was sure that she had cancer, went to the gyno to realize she is pregnant, with twins! :D Story of my life.
I had boy/girl twins and my sister had girl/girl twins 10 months apart!!! Her twins looked identical but they are fraternal because they have different blood types, neither of us used fertility drugs they were both spontaneous twins.

I've been obsessed with the thought of having twins for years. I went so crazy, my husband and I bought a twin girls outfit and I still haven't been pregnant yet. We have struggled to get pregnant and last minute this cycle decided to try our first IUI, but I was so bummed because I decided on IUI when it was too late to take medication to produce more follicles. I had my ultrasound yesterday and with no drugs my body how somehow hyper ovulated and I have a full size follicle on BOTH sides! They asked me if I wanted to move forward as they said I'm at high risk for twins, and I was like ummm this is my DREAM!!! This has been on my vision board!!!! I know I'm crazy haha but hearing your story makes me so excited for the procedure Friday and that I'm having twins :)

When I was 18, I spontaneously had identical twin boys. Mind blowing. I was in such shock when the nurse told me I’m having twins and they are in the same sack (identical). I looked up how that was possible. And as a Nigerian, I eat yams in numerous of different ways. Yams yams yams had to been the reason. I saw so much research about that and goodness gracious, yams were and still are my absolute favorite Nigerian Delicacy.

My fiancée thinks I’m crazy when I say we’ll have twins, even though he confessed he’d want to have twins. I’m 35 (& a half 😝) years old, never had a baby before, of African descent (I’m a Kenyan in Kenya 🇰🇪) 😊, love dairy products and take a lot of those... 5’7” in height.....eat yams once in a long while (but will be having them more frequently)...planning to start my Folate supplements /preconception vitamins and a strong believer of the Law of Attraction. I really wanted twins when I realized that I wanted to have a family of my own, fast forward to me at age 23 my husband and I were told I was 4 weeks prego with a healthy baby in October 2011, in November 2011 we were told that we now have 2 healthy babies! So that was a dream come true and my unspoken prayers answered. Now we are hoping to have another baby again, waiting to see what God has in store🙏🙌

The last one sure worked for me. I put it out there to the universe I've always told everyone that I will have twins someday. I have Fraternal twins boys who are now 11 yrs old. My grandmother on my mother's side had 2 sets of twins her very first pregnancy were twins. She had a 2nd set but didn't make it. I have an aunt who had twins boy and girl. I have several cousins who have twins. And I had a miscarriage 2 years ago who were also twins. And I am trying to get pregnant again and I'm hoping with twin girls since I have 3 boys already.

I just found out 2 weeks ago I'm expecting twins. This will be my second pregnancy (I have a 4 year old boy). I am not of African descent, (I'm hispanic, so maybe theres African descent in my lineage but I by no means look it, im almost clear), I have not taken any IVF drugs, I'm 26 years old, and there is no trace of any twins in my family ever. I'm 4'11 and weigh 131 lbs so not overweight or over 5'5. I'm having fraternal twins but I have no clue how this happened AT ALL lol.

You jist manifested it from a very young age. I did too. I dreamed of having twins when i was a child i obsessed over it! Then when i got pregnant at 19, i only wanted one girl but i concieved twins instead. Never on birth control, i hyper ovulate, I'm of African descent and young too so my chances of twins were high anyway.

My grandmother had twins twice and I myself am a fraternal twin. My twin and I are boy/girl twins with me being the female twin. I fit all the criteria for potentially conceiving twins. I’m of African decent, my BMI is over 30, twins run in my family, I can’t get over dairy, I’m 5 foot 7, and I’m nearly 35. I’m looking to conceive soon so maybe it’ll happen. lol 🤣🤣🤣

Apparently they only pass through women not men. My husband's dad is an identical twin. They say the chances of my husband and I having twins is unlikely to no chance at all. However my sisters in law are most likely to have twins.
His genetics don't affect your ovulation. If you have a daughter she would be more likely to conceive twins because she has his genetics

I had my twin boys at age 23. All natural... I am 5'4 and full figured. Twins do run in my family though. The craziest thing I was ever asked was... Why was I so fat, that if I lost weight could move faster. My response... I was 38 weeks pregnant.😒 People can be so rude. Our daughter is 30 and our sons are 28. Love it.

I'm 31 years old. And since I was like 5 years old I've told ppl that I'm having twins. My grandmother ( maternal) had twins, my mother gave birth to twins ( didn't make it). I have about 36 first cousins and none of them had twins. I just know in my heart it's gonna happen to me lol. I'm going to do my best lol.
