  • Blender 3D Procedural Disintegration Tutorial - This Blender tutorial is about how to create a dissolving disintegration effect on a material. I will walk through each and every step of the process slowly for absolute beginners. This tutorial will teach you how to use material shading nodes in Blender to create an animated material effect of disintegration.
To create the disintegration effect, we are going to mix a basic material with a transparent shader. Then we apply a gradient texture, color ramp node, mapping node and texture coordinate node to control the transition between materials. Then we add emission to the effect and displace that emission with a noise texture node. Trust me, it'll all make sense in the end.
If you are a beginner wanting to learn a slightly more advanced material shading effect in Blender, check this out as well as my introduction to material shading tutorial series.
