If you're not a casual and actually watch NBA more, Bane getting that contract ain't that bad. He improved his scoring every year and stayed efficient while doing so. Not to mention, the Grizzlies being a small market is another reason.

Fred isn't a really bad contract for what I assume the Rockets want from him. He's not supposed to win them a title in the next couple years, he's there to be vocal in the locker room and ideally get the young guys playing the right way instead of looking for highlights. His 3rd year is a team option so at worst they likely only pay him for 2 years but I could see trying to trade him on that second year if things are already looking up.
It was Russell Westbrooks choice to stay for his contract. It was a personal choice to try to win a Chapionship. I agree with all of these except for Russ.

Dillon Brooks contract isnt bad. They needed to use that money or they would lose it. Additionally its front loaded so they are paying Brooks less later on so hes easier to trade.
