Mine sometimes disconnect randomly sometime even if I just slightly touch either sides cup and sometimes they stay connected but suddenly only left side works, whenever that happens where they’re still connected but not working properly they also lose noise canceling and transparency. To solve the issue I have to reset the airpods and hope, sometimes it takes up to 15 resets until they finally connect properly again, very frustrating. This issue happens to me daily. Whenever I put them on it’s a 50/50 chance they work or they won’t. I have always been very careful using them, rarely wore them outside, made sure they won’t get wet. I had them for about 2 years the issues started after about 8 months. My local apple store told me they couldn’t help me and I haven’t found any helpful advice online so far :(
I had the exact same problem as you. I hope the problem has solved itself already. In case it hasn't, here is my solution: take a pin needle or a paper clip and press it into the small hole behind the removable earcups. It's only a small opening! You should be able to remove the headband. In case you can't find the hole or have no clue what I am talking about watch a tutorial on how to remove the headband. Then inspect the metal connectors on the tip of the headband, one of my connectors had some blue gunk hardened on it. Use some Isopropol Alkohol to remove the gunk, and clean them properly but really work them, don't just wipe them down. This worked for me, I went from a 330€ repair quote from Apple to fully working headphones in 5 MInutes. I hope this does the job for you!
@@DevinSeeleyDevilO I’ve noticed that the problem tends to happen less when I plug the airpods to the charger shortly before using it, it’s no solution to the problem but it seems to happen less that way, perhaps you could try that
Same problem man ! And I don't know why everyone else have no problem, I finally bought sony headphones ! And I it is amazing, I just feel sorry for the money I spent on it, it is my first bad experience with any apple product.
@@Hukli1967 Exactly, it's a shame. I'm usually a massive fan of apple products because while they might be expensive but they just work. Airpods max not so much and the fact I'm getting no support despite having spent a fortune on them is really disappointing
Yep new update has messed them up and apple just expect us to buy the same ones again will be getting a new pair soon so hopefully the problem doesn’t happen again
SIRHENNY1 Bro, Make sure your AirPods Max have proper Charge, also Disconnect the AirPods Max completely, then connect it back again. It can fix the issue.😊
It doesn’t. I just bought a third pair and this pair is giving me the same issue. If I touch them 1 side will go out, then the whole set shuts down and restarts itself only to do that every few seconds. I work for Apple Support, and I hate that I have to call Apple Support. 😂
@@rocky8170 gotta just exchange for a new pair when this is happening. Don’t rely on warranty and shit. Let the retailer handle it. It’s a hardware issue. Get a good pair and they’ll work great.
I’m getting weird noises on my right earcup when using either transparency or noise cancellation mode, not when they’re both off. It’s driving me insane.
@@joslynnpeterson3148 that sucks, mine stop working from time to time now. Pisses me off. It costs 250$ to ship them to the US to have them checked. What a joke.
aaronjediknight7300 Bro, Please check the Audio Balance on your Mac, if it’s set in One side, you won’t get sound from both side, you need make sure it’s in the middle.😊
