For a hefty $500 dollars, Apple could have done better in terms of user comfort.
Best headset I’ve ever owned. Love it. I didn’t even know some of the stuff like the battery widget and the live listen feature. Thats pretty cool for if you leave a meeting to go to the bathroom or something but don’t wanna miss anything. Pretty dope.

I was a Bose guy for a long time. I got really annoyed with some in ear Bose plugs I had a few years back though. I had Android phone watch combo with those plugs and music would switch back and forth from headphones to the watch randomly it was really dumb. I switched to ask Apple stuff and I’ll never go back. Everything is so seamless, and the headphones are way better than my Bose ones were. Just got these max ones and they are super comfy and sound fantastic. Noise cancelling is amazing on these.
Ok y'all I was debating on AirPods Max and the Sony xm5 and I decided on the AirPods Max for a couple reasons. 1. Im an apple guy, most of my devices are apple 2. I like the sleeker look and I heard is was a lot more comfortable which I agree 3. I actually prefer the metal feel 4. I liked the color choices and I already had a blue iPad Air so I got the blue AirPods Max Tips I learned: GET APPLE MUSIC TO GET FULL EXPERIENCE! They are the same price so just make the switch bc it has better audio for the AirPods Max Make sure the right and left cups are on the correct ear If able to, turn all audio settings on Apple Music in settings to high res. Dolby Atmos/ lossless audio

hello Brandon im Joe from London i just bought the Airpods Max and i am having problems activating Spatial Audio i havr the iphone 12 max and some of the settings on your iphone you are using in this video are not on the Airpods Max and i just cant seem to activate spatial audio can you help with perhaps an update on this topic i have the latest software version 15.2.1 can you help? regards Joe
@@BrandonButch No definitely not! They’re way too big for me, and I’ve never been in to over the ear headphones, but I can understand why people would want these even with price they come with 😊 And here in Denmark they could be comfortable and warm here during the winter 🥶
Kinda disappointed that’s the only protection to secure the head phones,what about if someone steals it,they can easily pair it up with there on device

Unfortunately no. It has to be the Apple cable. Apparently it has an Analog to digital converter in it that converts the analog signal coming from 3.5mm to the digital signal that APM can understand. This then again gets converted to analog signal by the DAC inside the headphones. Really stupid design choice by Apple. My Sony XM4 can straight up be connected to a 3.5mm port without even having to power them on. But I had to buy a 40$ cable from Apple so that I can use my APM with my PS5. The Apple cable is also flimsy as shit so make sure you take good care of it.
Build quality is also very important. AirPodsMax are stylish, cool, elegant, great looking, and sounding headphones. However, there are design flaws. The stainless steel over the ear phones makes the metal head bands very uncomfortable. The cheap looking netted head band, that looks worse over time, provides no cushioning from the added weight of the steel, and can cause headaches. A hack I use is to bubble wrap the netted head band. For $500, a large chunk of change, Apple could have cushioned the headband. Spatial audio is great. However, it should have the ability to easily fine tune and switch between Spatial and Stereo. Microsoft has this ability.
Most Definitely Not Worth $550.00 - I Fully Expected To Just Be Blown Away But . . . . After A Very Long Testing Period I returned them - they have great anc and sound great with music - however much to my disappointment and surprise when compared to my WH 1000X M3s With Movies Going Back And Forth from my z fold 3 & iPhone We had to admit that the airpods max were Sorely Lacking With Movies - the wh 1000X M3s sound Was Fuller more present and more impactful even when we played the XM3s At a lower volume than airpods max - The Spacial Audio Did Improve The Movie Watching impact where the sound is concerned but still sounds muffled And Subdued compared to the SONY 1000X M3s which Alive With Movie Audio Which Was My # 1 Reason For Buying The Max - I WAS OONVINCED THAT ID BE SHELVING MY WH 1000X M3s FOR THE AIRPODS MAX BUT I DID NOT FEEL THAT WAY AFTER TESTING THEM - JUST MAJORLY DISAPPOINTED

You really should have shown people how to make these sparkle by turning on 'headphone accommodations' in settings. It takes them to the next level.
