- Cindy and her Camisade...Forget Three Stars, only helps when not dead. You can fight the Magus Sisters within two optional ways: Fighting them the hard way with all three of them at the same time, or splitting them up by running away from them. Grouping them will use their Delta Attack which does 99,999 damage and ignores Auto-Life. Mega-Graviton is used instead when fighting them one by one.

Anakin Skywakka I mean once you start getting into post game the only thing that can ever cause issues is getting the gear since the don tonberry trick means that getting the levels for the stats you need are done in like one day. You still gotta get the spheres to increase stats and the delete spheres to get rid of all those plus ones and such but hey that’s at the arena too convenient.

I remember figuring out and grinding out killing thes eguys and penance back when I was a kid, great times. FFX was the last FF of my childhood that's for sure.
See square enix forgot about how important it is to include these turn based games because they made you feel a connection with each character as you learned how to strategize and manipulate them to their respective god modes . They seem to think we all want hack and slash games which has destroyed their franchise in my opinion

@Snuggie totally respect your opinion dude but ffxii just felt so finicky, slow, and a bit washed out to me (even from a turn based perspective). But that's just me, I never gelled with 12 personally. I like watching playthroughs of it but not playing it. This said the gambit system was badass, though I'd prefer a full turn based system or a more intense action system, and my feelings are that ffxii combat is a failed attempt to bridge the gap between turn based and action combat.
I remember when I first played this game a few weeks ago. I didn't know about these things at all so when I was walking around recruiting blitz ball players I got jumped by these two and I had no idea what was going on.

LMAO, for me it was after I first got to the calm lands and was opening the arena. I got excited to capture fiends so I went back to Macalania and figured I'd stop by the temple, see what's been going on since Seymour and all.... Shiva smooshed me quick 😂
Then when I was dodging lightning in the thunder plains I see this dude just standing there, go talk to him to see what's up and yep.... Ixion roasted me
To be fair, I'd never faced the dark aeons before since I'm in the US, so it all took me by surprise 🤣

@@123TauruZ321 Tornado actually makes him the third best character in terms of damage output by Overdrive if you don't count Summons. He's particularly great for Penance since he can hit both arms with it. It also makes him a great stand-in for Wakka if you don't like Blitz.
@@rightwing707 I can actually agree on that. I see Wakka's overdrive doesn't deal so much damage to the arms, Auron's deal more. So 2 x 3 hits that deal more damage can be better than 1 x 12 much weaker hits.
The sword hits on Blitz ace seems very weak, don't they? Almost worthless.
@@123TauruZ321 If you take the time to get 255 luck Blitz Ace gets a great deal more effective. Though doubling low damage isn't that big a deal it does crank it up to around 300k if you hit the timing prompt.
Sadly Attack Reels doesn't seem capable of crits, capping the hits at just over 40k in most cases. But it's still over 480k, which is decent but not ideal in some cases due to the RNG of what he targets. In that sense Auron is actually the most consistent for group battles.
But in the end all the characters are plenty viable. It just sucks that Lulu and Kimahri have infinitely worse Overdrives than everybody else.
I personally think of Rikku as the most useful because of all the buffs unique to her like 1.5*/2* OD charge which both stack, crit bonus for the party, Ultra Nulall which saves 20 turns of buffing and Hyper Mighty Gaurd which is just crazy useful in most fights in the game.

The skill level you're on literally makes this game unrecognizable. Like you've ascended so far that it's a whole different game.
Yeah, I really hate the way Final Fantasy X does superbosses. Basically, grind forever until all your stats are maxed (this is mandatory cuz you won't stand a chance otherwise) and then hit for max damage as many times as you can, as fast as you can, before the enemy's turn. It's terrible. No strategy whatsoever.

Mindy - the smallest sister is the main offensive magic user. She's a glass cannon though, having the smallest HP pool of the 3
Sandy - the tallest of the Sisters is responsible for support buff spells like Protect, Shell, Haste, and Reflect. I'm pretty sure she's the strongest in terms of physical damage but don't quote me on that
Cindy - the biggest of the Sisters, holds all the healing and reviving spells. She's also the tankiest having the largest HP pool between the 3 of them

I never ever knew you could run away at the start down to the left, and fight them one on one. First time i got caught, they ambushed me with overdrive = Instant death ^^ I think i beat them once, but it took a long time.

With agility it can. Agi highest character > lowest spinning ( my concept )
Also can be done with Ultima spam on the 3 together and then switching to Quick Hit when 1 of them falls.
Mad to think in the original EU version as soon as you got the airship you basically couldnt go anywhere cos dark aeons would rinse you, and the US version you could do what you like xD
High level play in this game consists of spamming quick hit, no lies. I mean that or pay Yojimbo to just take care of your problem for you.
You dont grind to max stat all of your character just to summon yojimbo, he design just for lazy player who want to finish the game quicker
@@kazumi1315 This line of thinking is stupid. Final Fantasy X has one of the worst post-game grinds in the entire series. You have to put in 100+ hours to even have a chance at the Dark Aeons or Penance. I've beaten most of the main Final Fantasy games and all of their extras and no other expects so much effort.

@@richardsinclair7661 Late response but that’s what you got in these types of turn based RPGs back in the day.
FFX’s grind was only bad if you were trying to max lvl or get some of the celestial weapons which you could do without by getting drops in the monster arena. This game has an extremely lengthy but engaging grind for someone with patience like the SMT games.
Not even a matter IF it hits for 99999 its a question of which is the shortest animation for 99999.
Imagine programming this game 20 years ago. It’s gotta be by far the biggest FF game in terms of play time to 100%
I've played FFX about 25 times but never a version with the Dark Aeons maybe it's time for another playthrough

Not that much, actually. With smart grinding you can do it with 20 hours. The first time I played when I was a kid, I had 200+ hours and didn't beat Penance.
Last year, with only 30 hours I beat the Dark Aeons and Penance. Work smarter, not longer.

What weapons do you use & armor to equip to defeat these magus sisters ?
It looks like that Tidus is using Excalibur (Break Damage Limit, Triple Overdrive, First Strike, Piercing) a custom weapon in the first half of the fight and then switches to his celestial weapon later on. The rest of the party seem to be using their own celestial weapons. As far as armor goes it looks like they have Break HP Limit, Auto-Phoenix, Auto-Haste, and Ribbon/Stoneproof. Also I think their overdrives are set to Comrade so if fill when allies take damage. Hope this helps

To be honest I dont think that's brotherhood, as when brotherhood gets fully activated after going to the far plane, it has this permanent water effect to it, the one he used didn't, I know that its possible to make weapons look different based on what you upgrade them with via abilities, so I might've not been brotherhood he was using.
That weapon is Tidus' legendary weapon, Caladbalg.

How did you get such high HP and hits? Whats your gear?
Break HP limit etc. Then spend about 150 hours completing every sphere on sphere grid until all stats are maxed.
@@KingDonaldFirstofhisname you dont need nearly that much time. I cleared everything available in the game in exactly 100 hours. You just abuse the monster arena for some hours and it's easy to max everything

How the hell did I miss these aeons how to spawn them?
You need to get two items, one you get from beating Belgemine at the Remium temple and the other from capturing all monsters from gagazet and turning it in to the monster collector guy in calm lands. When you have these two items, go back to Remium temple and use it to unlock the seal to the chamber of the fayth where the magus sisters are
My favorite part is when you don’t show how to get there so I leave immediately to figure that out

using zanmato to beat dark aeons makes the whole process of maxing ur characters to beat penance pointless.effort will give you something to remember.not legal cheating.

Each his own. I found Character maxing to tedious in this game. I tried it once. It takes to long.

Sofaris it doesn’t take long at all lol. Maybe like a day of playing stats wise because the don tomberry trick means you basically get infinite levels once you get to the arena and unlock fighting him. And the arena also conveniently will get you all the stat spheres you need. So it’s all in one place.

You can get them in the "secret" temple in the south-east of the calm lands.
I type "secret" because it is noch that hidden as the temple for Anima.

Yes, and then you backtrack and fight them one by one.

No you can't reach the save point, the lift going to the save point says it's stuck. You have to backtrack to fight the Dark sisters one by one
@@taroupriapus9760 i was talking about the save point right before the separation mini game starts, not the one going to the lift. The one on the left shown near the beginning of the video. I remember leaving using that one before

Yeah, never understood the dialogue of these weird mages that chase you, and then the dark aeons attacking.
Because they (and everyone else using a Dark Aeon) are followers of Yevon trying to kill Yuna and friends for blowing the fuck out of that religion. Penance (which appears after you beat all of them) is their last resort.
Those "dark followers" could have destroyed Sin themselves. Lol
Because you are a heretic and enemy of Bevelle and Yevon, not only for killing Seymour but among other things, and they wouldn't kill Sin because if you hadn't forgotten, Yu Yevon is the founder of the yevon religion

I'm wondering why the Magus Sisters here made several hits in their Delta Attack because mine only make six hits.
lol I figured it out already, it was because when Delta Attack hits multiple enemies, each enemy gets one hit so if the number of target you see is 3, you'll see triple 99,999 six times.So they're almost the same with the damage, but they said you can't block Dark Magus SIster's Delta Attack with Auto-Life.
why didn't you use the caladbolg from the beginning?

Everything can be killed by Yojimbo, even Penance. (well except the underwater fiends obviously)

Michael Patrick because tidus and co. are the branded enemies of yevon. Look at the summoners’ attire, That is yevon attire
You used some cheats or action replay right ? There is no way, in my knowledge, to get 99999 HP for each with these stats (since it looks like you have full MP, strenght and luck)
Wrong...there is a way! No one ever reads the Gamefaqs guide for 99999. Remove all Evasion and Accuracy nods with the number of Luck spheres to make it to 255. Replace 200+ HP's to 300. Remove any MP's (Not all) but some to fit more HP's and done. Everyone thinks this is some cheat. Obviously, no one looks at guide. Lol

Fighting the magus sisters one by one should’ve never been an option. The magus sister’s trademark is 3 aeons all at once. I honestly wish that they remove one by one option in the remaster but sadly they didnt

At least you admitted what you did was "cheesy". Some players would actually get upset when you call them out for using Yojimbo to "Cheese" the Dark Aeons.
@GRIMLOCK07 nah bro I legit abused the game when it came to sphere grinding and dark aeons.
My biggest issue was always the amount of grinding it took. Hundreds of hours worth of attempts then restarts, over what 20 years. I gave in last year.
Sometimes even the best of us can't commit to something so grinding, especially with 4 kids.
But why not, not use the hp limit break so you can do more damage with Auron? Could be doing like 2 mil damage
this is true, since everything late game 1 shots you anyway no matter how much hp you have. might as well save a slot and go with 9999 hp, but have auto phoenix or something

If you farm Wings to Discovery you can use them to give weapons the Break Damage Limit which changes the dmg cap to 99999. I did it for every character back in 2001 and inky remember it because if how long it took. It love this gane but dont think I could ever pkay it again to full completion

90% of time using quick hit...i'm sorry i feel this game is not attract as other previous final fantasy.
Quick hit is an endgame tactic to earn turns, at first you dont even have this ability and the game is literally HELL if you dont level up your characters.

You can see the fully sphere grid in the Penance battle video I made...Lol! Some people don't know how to calculate the sphere grid to get the 99,999 HP way. Just get rid of Accuracy, Evasion and remove some Agility on the grid. And go for the Luck and keep adding HP's.
Completely possible, I'm almost finished rewriting the entire grid to have all attributes batched together, all stats at 255 and I'm working on Luck now. All characters 73k+ HP with all other stats maxed to 255 & MP 999, so imagine if I switched 35 accuracy, 35 evasion and 17 agility spheres for HP+300 spheres, I would have 99,999 HP
@@ericmann1781 99,999 hp is completly unnecessary. 9999 is enough what maters is your DMG not your HP because most of the time enemy do 99,999 dmg anyways so no point.

Farming for the hp doesn't take to long, so why not have 73k HP instead of having 200 empty nodes on the grid.
I've seriously 😑 re-thought playing games like this. What a waste of time. After getting this good post game, what have you really earned or learned? Nothing.

Arena grinding for break hp limit,auto pheonix and autohaste. Ultimate weapons break the damage limit. Combine that with max stats and there u go.

The fellow suggesting this was 'cheated' sounds pretty stupid too. I could do this myself easily but spending $$$ on the remastered version just to kill a dozen pathetically easy bosses is a giant waste of money.
If the price drops to something reasonable maybe i'll buy it for $5.
Dodging lightning another 200 times won't be 'fun' though.

To answer this, you can separate the 3 of them and fight them one on three instead of three on three.
