I love my ST220. Mine's a 2007 in Sea Grey. Up to 162000 miles now. As you said, regular maintenance is the key. Fantastic drive, great long distance car, and the soundtrack is always fantastic.
Fine ST220 M8 . Wicked paint job . have a 54 hatch , silver 91 on the clock , 3rd one i have had the pleasure to own .Wrapping it up and putting away next June. 2025. 54 Plate. Well Tidy...
Oooh sounds beautiful m8 yea think I’ve had over 50 of them love em to bits , atm I’ve got 3 estates and 2 hatchbacks my personal favourite is TIGS my ink owned him the longest tho , cheers for yr comment, and yea worth putting away that with the low mileage m8 for sure 👍👍
@@dunkhoughton175 Thank You millions ,I do think the saloon i let go to a mate of 35+ yrs for a very low price ,even rarer than the hatch ive read . Brilliant to start to know other ST220 peeps . Respect to All.
Well said, i enjoyed this video. U had me laughing when u said there is even hope for the silver ones. Im not a fan of the silver ones but i have to agree the red seats do look best in them
what an excellent video, I have a quick question, Who do you insure the car with pal, do you have to tell insurance anytime you tell something, I’ve been told if I don’t my insurance will be void, or is there a mod friendly car insurance for a young man, cheers
@@LaliladaAnamina yes m8 unfortunately you have to inform yr insurance of any “ modifications “ if your just painting or making it pretty I think that’s ok but things such as exhaust , wheels ( larger size) engine modifications have to be listed , declared and appreciate the comments many thanks
@@Bloempot12 yes m8 theese are totally reliable as long as the maintenance is carried out ( ideally b4 the problems occur) the most expensive jobs on theese cars is the clutch as the crossmember is in the way , it can be done with crossmember just dropped to one side but inst ideal , costs of clutch is £1 k -£1,200 and the engines tend to leak oil but under the skin there still a mk3 mondeo so easy to maintain , rear 3 plugs are a pain to change as u have to remove the upper inlet manifold but still easy enough to do
