I really appreciate your discussion regarding politics. As a black female college student I have really enjoyed watching your channel as a way to take my mind off of things going on over the last few months, and I appreciate your ability to speak on injustice without necessarily speaking on politics. However, I really urge you all to recognize the privilege that you have in being able to live as non political people, especially at this point in time where politics is playing a huge role in the well being and safety of so many marginalized people. Because regardless of what party is in office, your status/demographic protects you from being affected by certain discriminatory policies or practices that could be put in place to support people at the cost of others. Nonetheless, thank you guys for being such a light in this crazy world your hard work is definitely appreciated :)

I’m probably one of the “oldest “ watchers you both have. In that I mean I could be a parent to either of you. I have a son older than either of you. Watching you two is very enlightening, as I see a lot of my son and his partner in the two of you when you interact with each other. It's a different world now than the one i grew up in and with social media as well. So appreciate your honesty and transparency and just being "real". You can be into politics and be political without being extremist to the left or the right. Being in the middle is political. Caring about injustices is political. Unfortunately in the United States, the political realm is very divided, but in general, and in many places around the world, being political is not about being divided left or right.
The onlyyy thing I will say is, that being a part of a privileged group allows you to also not feel like you need to address certain things in your everyday. No one “needs” to pick a side of course, but there are certain beliefs that people may have that directly affect my humanity and that I can’t ignore and “still be cool with you” for the sake of being neutral. But that’s just me as a black woman.

My husband and I got married pretty young, 22 and 24. We have now been married for almost 9 years, and still don’t have children (by choice). I can say that was the best decision we’ve ever made. We’ve had the ability to grow into ourselves both individually and as a couple, and further our careers, education, finances, and travel the world. Someday when we decide to have a child, I know we’ll have a solid foundation for raising him/her well. 💕

I think it’s almost a privilege to choose when you want to be involved in politics. And I definitely agree that the climate that we’re in makes you feel like you need to chose a “side” when it’s really more than that. I think a lot of people have realized that politicians alone are not always even trustworthy sometimes. But I think this year especially has made people realize if we want to have a better world it starts from us. Everyone has to make an effort to perpetuate change and help those who are especially marginalized. I think that’s why there was a lot of pressure for influencers to say something because y’all do have this huge platform to share with your viewers. Not putting that pressure on the two of you obviously because that’s so unfair. I’m a Christian as well so I definitely felt God tug on my heart this year to make an effort to say and do the right things even if it’s minimal. But imagine having this platform and not using it to the absolute best of your abilities? You can choose to not talk about it, but it’s still there you know. My pastor tells my church all the time as Christians we have to be the salt of the world to let people know who we are and who we serve and make positive differences in the world, small or big. 💛

I think that you should voice your opinion on things happening in our country and how you feel about it. That doesn’t mean you are being “Political” that means you are being transparent and sharing your values and beliefs with us. Don’t worry about losing/gaining followers, just be real and people will see that. There is followers like me who like listening to different points of view.
Unfortunately, that just can't always happen in this day in age. I respect them not mentioning it because as sad as it is, there are many people who choose to dislike someone for their political beliefs.

You and me, girl. I think it’s so nice when our favorite youtubers have more chit-chatty videos or vlogs because it feels more personal, like we’re along for the ride with them. It feels more natural, and comforting - like hanging out or talking with a friend - especially in these times with quarantine where we want that human connection or are particularly sad, and we can live or be entertained vicariously through these videos when we’re lonely or can’t necessarily go out. They also fill the silence and are nice to listen to while you’re doing other things like cleaning, cooking, working from home, chilling, whatever. It helps me, too.

I have a 50 pound lab and a 7 pound pomchi. The responsibility is honestly the same even with their size difference. Getting a second dog for our lab was the best decision ever. They play together and keep each other company when we can’t constantly be giving them attention.

So about the politics question.. I understand that you may not talk about politics in real life, or care to lose/gain followers and you guys don't feel knowledgeable enough to voice your political views to your viewers but I saw in your last vlog you guys were watching the election and I'm sure you guys felt some way about it. From your answer to the question, just to clarify-you didn't have to be a political person to vote. Everyone in the US that voted aren't politicians so I'm sure we all did the best we can to vote according to what we feel aligns with our views best, just like you guys. I think that during the past years and this year especially with the current leader we have, many celebs, influencers, and "normal" people (like myself) whether they have a huge following or not, we pushed for people to vote and to vote for change. You guys spoke about black lives matter back in June and in my opinion that horrible horrible incident very well ties into politics and the change we were all wanting to happen with this election. I think that it is important as an influencer to influence (not tell people who to vote for but tell them to vote and why). Not everyone wants to just see how to style a coat, how to apply makeup, or what case to buy for your phone, what app to use to save coins (this goes for all insta/youtube influencers) -for me I want influencers to really step up to their role and influence change in this world for the better. Social media is a huge outlet and this election broke records because so many influencers influenced their supporters to vote, and i really appreciate that they did that because so many peoples lives felt threatened for so long- gays, trans, black lives, hispanic lives, muslim lives, asian lives etc and I feel like a sigh of relief has been achieved. I think from the questions you got about politics, your viewers just want transparency. I'm a viewer and want transparency. Sorry this is so long but I just needed to get this out there. I feel like I may be voicing what some want to voice and unfortunately for you guys, Im a sagittarius lol but I do enjoy your content regardless and this is just a response that I would give to a friend so please don't take offense. I think it’s almost a privilege to choose when you want to be involved in politics. And I definitely agree that the climate that we’re in makes you feel like you need to chose a “side” when it’s really more than that. I think a lot of people have realized that politicians alone are not always even trustworthy sometimes. But I think this year especially has made people realize if we want to have a better world it starts from us. Everyone has to make an effort to perpetuate change and help those who are especially marginalized. I think that’s why there was a lot of pressure for influencers to say something because y’all do have this huge platform to share with your viewers. Not putting that pressure on the two of you obviously because that’s so unfair. I’m a Christian as well so I definitely felt God tug on my heart this year to make an effort to say and do the right things even if it’s minimal. But imagine having this platform and not using it to the absolute best of your abilities? You can choose to not talk about it, but it’s still there you know. My pastor tells my church all the time as Christians we have to be the salt of the world to let people know who we are and who we serve and make positive differences in the world, small or big. 💛

I totally agree on the politics AND please do not rely on social media to tell you who you should/shouldn’t vote for. It’s what people fight for everyday, freedom to make our own choices. ALSO, do not rely on news to tell you who to vote for. There is a lot of fake news on BOTH sides. Please try and find reliable sources!

I think that you should voice your opinion on things happening in our country and how you feel about it. That doesn’t mean you are being “Political” that means you are being transparent and sharing your values and beliefs with us.

You and me, girl. I think it’s so nice when our favorite youtubers have more chit-chatty videos or vlogs because it feels more personal, like we’re along for the ride with them. It feels more natural, and comforting - like hanging out or talking with a friend - especially in these times with quarantine where we want that human connection or are particularly sad, and we can live or be entertained vicariously through these videos when we’re lonely or can’t necessarily go out. They also fill the silence and are nice to listen to while you’re doing other things like cleaning, cooking, working from home, chilling, whatever. It helps me, too.

I have a 50 pound lab and a 7 pound pomchi. The responsibility is honestly the same even with their size difference. Getting a second dog for our lab was the best decision ever. They play together and keep each other company when we can’t constantly be giving them attention.

So about the politics question..
I understand that you may not talk about politics in real life, or care to lose/gain followers and you guys don't feel knowledgeable enough to voice your political views to your viewers but I saw in your last vlog you guys were watching the election and I'm sure you guys felt some way about it. From your answer to the question, just to clarify-you didn't have to be a political person to vote. Everyone in the US that voted aren't politicians so I'm sure we all did the best we can to vote according to what we feel aligns with our views best, just like you guys. I think that during the past years and this year especially with the current leader we have, many celebs, influencers, and "normal" people (like myself) whether they have a huge following or not, we pushed for people to vote and to vote for change. You guys spoke about black lives matter back in June and in my opinion that horrible horrible incident very well ties into politics and the change we were all wanting to happen with this election. I think that it is important as an influencer to influence (not tell people who to vote for but tell them to vote and why). Not everyone wants to just see how to style a coat, how to apply makeup, or what case to buy for your phone, what app to use to save coins (this goes for all insta/youtube influencers) -for me I want influencers to really step up to their role and influence change in this world for the better. Social media is a huge outlet and this election broke records because so many influencers influenced their supporters to vote, and i really appreciate that they did that because so many peoples lives felt threatened for so long- gays, trans, black lives, hispanic lives, muslim lives, asian lives etc and I feel like a sigh of relief has been achieved. I think from the questions you got about politics, your viewers just want transparency. I'm a viewer and want transparency.
