- In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Pokemon, I made a RAD compilation of 90s Pokemon commercials and some bumpers! I did have to re-edit this a few times and take out some pretty cool commercials due to some copyright issues. I hope you enjoy!

I found one of those in my collection around two years ago. I have no idea where I got it since I started collecting during Gen 3, but it's now in a hard case. Not 1st Edition, but still nice.
I recognized so many products in these commercials! It was great being a Pokémon fan back then.

I love every generation up to 6. I just don't feel that magic with the later gens. Then again, it may just be a symptom of getting older.

What about on VHS?
There's still something about the kid sucking all of the Pokémon into his pants in that first commercial that makes me laugh uncontrollably years later. It just looks so awkward.

They announced a Pokemon themed Post Malone concert today. Corporate marketing has evolved so much in the past 25 years haha.

I was like 6 when I watched the red and blue commercials on our Pokemon vhs. I begged my parents for a gameboy but in 2009 game boys were out of our price range. Thank god for the ds😂

@@brianodonnell4496 yeah that too but if it was up to me and the person who actually created Pokémon I would change a few things and make sure the original cast stays even if they are going to be fired or let go until like season 13

2:20 It was this commercial that made me give Pokémon a chance. Why? Of all Pokémon, it was because I liked Bellsprout. 🤣 Ridiculous, I know! I remember someone asking me what my favorite was back in 8th grade and trying to describe Bellsprout and they had no idea what I was talking about.

Best marketing franchise idea of our time.
They had me willingly hand in all my free time, allowence and birthday/christmas wishes back in 1998 and i still cant walk in to a toystore today in 2023 without half of the store beeing pilled up with Pokemon. 12th generation flying swords and stick formed pokemon all over the place and they still arent sick of it..

I do remember kids WB AND fox kids on kids WB Pokémon came on Saturdays at 10am and 10:30am the 90s was the best and I’m 36years old now I still like Pokémon I just download pokemon scarlet on my Nintendo Switch a few days ago but pokemon hits me different not the same feeling I had when I was a kid I was born in 1987 on 7/14 pokemon was everywhere and this is comein from a 36year old guy

I believe they were ones that used the Pokemon theme song in the background or had some other type of music. I don't remember exactly off the top of my head
