Deep ass message alot of our people truly over looked sad amn
During the time when I was homeless sleeping on the concrete benches in Trafalgar Square I used to play this song regularly on my iPod📱 and I always thought the words sung by Coldplay and Jay-Z were very much related to the struggle I was going thorough. I usually reflexively hate anything that mine mind sees as imposing or influencing on my emotional status. But to you I will agree, those lines has to me been strong anchors.
Every time I hear Jay Z drop this verse it sends chills through me. He is so talented, I am not surprised by Chris and Jay are friends at all. the are both extraordinary lyricist. I love Coldplay the band is amazing.

We all know that some people claim to HATE Coldplay (craziness...) but Chris sings the truth. Only for those who choose to listen.
Jay-z provides a very deep perspective to this song. Being a black man isn’t easy. No matter what you do they’re still gonna criticize you. The line where he says every step you take they remind you you ghetto really stood out for me.
No matter what the guy does even being a billionaire people are still gonna look down on him because he was from the ghetto.
Coming from a different country and living in Canada I feel that almost everyday. I tell people my name and they say oh that’s different and ask me where I’m from. When I tell them where I’m from they are able to see how they rank me as a person and how much respect I will get because of my roots.

In my opinion, this one of Coldplay's best songs, it shows how compatible they are to different types of music, it shows their appreciation of other genres. So don't generalize every 'real' Coldplay fan to being igoranant of other music genres
