What do you think of the sog seal strike? Seems to be a replacement for the sog seal which I didn’t get a chance to buy. I’d love to know your thoughts between the seal pup elite and seal strike. Thanks.
That gerber is wicked looking. I looked at a auto but the blade sticks out when closed so you can’t sharpen both sides. I don’t think the non auto is us made now.
I really like that pentagon, but, I don't think folders can be considered for "hot" spots because you can't really do enough wood work with them to build up a hot spot. They always seem to be unreliable for serious woodcraft. I carry a rat 1 or 2 and a garberg and a G.I. tanto, or Esee 5. rat 1 or 2 is my ferro striker, the garberg is for light bushcraft/camp task, and the G.I. tanto or Esee is my heavy chopper, splitter, and defensive weapon.
'Sup Nut'n ! Im digging these new SOGs, especially the terminus XR. Wish it was included in your review. A comment...... Pivots- i actually prefer phosphor bronze washers to bearings myself. I like the feel of PB better and its a much more stable system imo and is much better at keeping out debris that can affect performance. PB can be every bit as smooth as bearings and just as light as well. Watch the blade of my German made Boker/Oberland Arms EDW.1 sloooowwwly lower itself into the handle from gravity alone and tell me otherwise! Both of my German Bokers and many other knives on PB rank at the very top of my collection for pivot smoothness and lightness. Bearings work well on flippers but PB can do it just as well and for less money. Plus you dont have to deal with a blade feeling completely disconnected or loose (ZT 0561) or getting a rough bearing track worn into too thin washers (Viper odino). If done well PB is my choice every time!
suggest if you wanted a lanyard mounting point, what if you made a lanyard mounting clip and place it on the opposite side of the pocket clip or switch them out when your in a lanyard Mood? just a suggestion V/r Daniel Graham long time follower thanks for pocket checks Knock and get you gear challenges we leave now

Digging the spear point and the partially sharpened tip. Something other than black would be awesome. I had recently bought a spear point Ak74 in blue and D2 for duty carry. This would be a close call for me if I had known about it a few months ago.

LE guy here. Not as many gear guys out in the field as you'd think. Younger guys are more so then the older guys for whatever reason.
I understand the 35B is mostly relegated to Stealth BVR because of that. I'd like to learn more about the C cause she's got a bigger wing.
