I’ve heard the same loosely. I don’t know about all of them because I’m not a sports guy but I’ve heard it too. Nike will never admit any official collab because it isn’t but the colors could be inspired by NHL teams… but again they couldn’t outright say “we made this because we love the whalers!” I say if it matches your jersey then that’s what it is to you!

Am I missing something, why are the GRs so boring this year. They gave us a good story with a lot of the Dunks last year. This year has been very disappointing as far as SB Dunks. All the best!!!

Id argue the opposite, the GRs have been amazing this year compared to last year. Honestly the GRs been better than the QS releases this year too

I’d say these are more in line with mid 2000s OG releases. Some OG heads are really stoked on the recent GR direction

That’s unfortunate but I guess it’s a way to support customers that support the shop and just don’t come knocking for dunks and leave. We used to give away tees with purchase but it got too expensive.
@@DavidBluetile It’s a way for the shop to stop resellers from making profit, if the dunks cost $125 and the shirts $40 that’s basically resell for a shoe

@DavidBluetile I have a lot of sbs from 06 up to now and the suede is nice, the comfort will never be quite the same as old school sbs and the colorway in person ain't it in my opinion
