@MrBurdekin I dunno, Murph still shows his magic when he has the ball. He's out of his 200+ game role as a mid to allow the kids to get involved and try to find himself in good position elsewhere. Pretty hard to keep him yeah but can guarantee he's worth 20000000 Cam Polson types that we seam to have in abundance. I hear everyone screaming get rid of these people but IV been watching the 2's fora long time and I guarantee there's nothing, absolutely nothing in Carlton's reserve's to replace these people.

As a bombers fan I hate carlton but this bloke was always good to watch.. for a small frame he had plenty of courage going back with the flight and he kicked quite a few clutch goals as seen in this video. Footy fans will miss watching you play mate congrats on a hell of a career

Carlton has had some great players during this dry period of not winning premierships. They need a full team like that and performing at peak levels, I firmly believe . I don’t believe they are making excuses just like Essendon and the Swans. They are working on it. Just not there yet. The others are more in a position to succeed all thing considered including improvement from mistakes to the point where they can beat the opposition outright. No question about it, they need it for themselves, the players and members, supporters. Many thanks just the same. One of these seasons . It’s any of you and all of you sides mentioned. That’s all I know. The rest up to you to battle it out. Competition sport it’s what it is

The Baggers will miss Simmo, if every player in the side had his determination and skill the Baggers would hardly lose a game. If i was the coach, the board and the other players i would try and get Simmo to play for another season ( if he could ). Especially the way the Baggers are playing at the moment (can only play two quarters) Simmo is a huge loss..

Paul Matters no it doesn’t? some players that played in great teams have more games than him. Hodge, Fletcher, Goodes, Doull. Mediocrity isn’t the reason he’s been around for so long.
@@declanryan121 He isnt in the class of any of those players. At Sydney, Geelong, Hawthorn and the Eagles he wouldnt have made 150 games. He played in crap teams.
Paul Matters You don’t know that. You can’t measure a players value on wether or not they would have played as many games at a different club, you can only measure how well he did at the clubs he’s played at which is Carlton. Where he played as a key defender in Carlton teams who were mediocre yes but he played well having consistently good seasons which I’ll reiterate shows his loyalty and heart. :)
