10/10. My mom and dad divorced when I was about 5. My mom was a severe alcoholic and my dad worked at a job where he made decent money but most of it went to my mom in alimony that she would then turn and use to buy booze, then make my life miserable sometimes. My dad felt responsible for this for a long time. There were many nights of me calling him around 7-10yrs old crying bc my mom and her friends were drinking and fighting. The scene where Chris and his son sleep in that bathroom, hit home for me pretty hard. Someone is trying to bust down the door to the bathroom and all chris can think is please, please god don't let them kick us out of here bc we have nowhere to go. All he cared about was giving his son a safe place to sleep. Just like my dad does.
Once I try this after watching the movie. I came from other handy work with dirty clothes, some jeans, broke shoes and regular t shirt full of sweat to a new job interview. I say the same words and make the same jokes just lke the movie. The interviewer didnt laugh an they never callme back.
Honestly if you make the interviewer laugh and smile you’re pretty much in. I’ve had about 7 interviews in the last 5 years and gotten every one of them lol.
@user-lm4uu2je4m thank you lol I’m really good at what I do so when I go to the interview I always control the room and I’m just really easy to get along with.
@@bradenhodges8799 once I’m not happy with a place I’ll leave. Or they start doing grimey shit I’m like hell nah and hop on indeed. But currently at a place I love and get paid very well at. Going 9 months strong and I see myself retiring here one day.
that is not true my friend, getting a job at high level is politics, friends and luck. Only last 8months I did 7 interviews for mid and high management roles and always had the same answer- we are satisfied with your answer but we have someone better qualified for a job.
This is a story of a brave smart man who rolled the dice till he won. Its a great story. Remember though they don't tell stories of the 1000 dice rollers who didn't make it.
The duplex they are living in at the beginning is an old Victorian that was across the street from my grandmothers house where friends lived in the Mission District. It was also used for "La Mission" which starred Benjamin Bratt.
You should be. Will Smith is a great man. Him standing up for his wife was very honorable and commendable. Hell, I would slap that guy myself in Will’s place
No bad white guys exist? Or you would prefer to go back to a time when the depiction of bad white guys never existed? How about Marvel? There's a huge cast of white male superheroes they pump out like pressed candy every year Sorry just trying to make sense of right wing snowflakeism
Hi everyone! What grade (out of 10) would you give this video?

I don’t why I’m even commenting on this….
But 5 hires in 7 years…why do you need/like to look for new jobs? Fractional CIO?

This movie was his best performance of showing what determination can do for you.

How was the interview dad? I made them laugh their asses off.
forrealz tho, in big business, being likeable takes you a LONG way.
Fantastic film almost had me in tiers a few times.
Me too. At so many different levels…
Tears
Tiers? Like, it hit you on different levels multiple times?
@@levioneill9677 You smartass lmao
That moment when you passed the Speech Check…
Will is awesome, it’s a shame he pulled that stunt with Chris rock.
But overall the guy is great at his acting career.
Acting career has nothing to do with how you are as a human being.. Reel life not equal to real life
I don't see how people think other people should work for free.
So the people they work for can make more money. Duh
Good acting.
It sucks to live in capitalism without capital
it's designed that way so the poors aren't able to rise above their current level - there's not enough room at the top for everyone under capitalism.
You don't need capital to get ahead in a purely capitalist society. You need desire. In a purely socialist country, you have no opportunity.

There is no way the movie industry would allow the white guys to pass as good guys that much nowadays
Lol fr
Who cares. Black guys were always seen as bad guys in movies and real life. I swear yall cry about anything.

Why you mad?
Sorry will I am no longer a fan of yours. Please don’t bother to make any more movies they will all fail. 0 out of 10
What in the hell are you yapping about it ?
Keep his name out of your fucking mouth
🤡🤡🤡
That slap hit you harder than it did Chris Rock
I’m still a fan of Will. He had a lot of pent up anger because his wife emasculates the hell out of him. So I can forgive him for the slap
