I’m considering pulling the trigger on a 2023 ES 300h. What are your thoughts about these cars being built in Kentucky? As opposed to Japan? It is my understanding that the engine, transmission, and other parts are from Japan though.

Thank you for the great content. I have a
2019 ES 300h (my first Lexus Hybrid - coming from a Honda Hybrid). There is a loud noise coming from the brake booster pump every time I open the drivers seat or occasionally while driving. I have wrapped it with sound deadening (heat proof) material since sometimes it is extremely loud. Maybe that's the way it's supposed to function?
Funny how I didn't notice that during the test drive and what might be loud for me might not be noticeable to others. Perhaps it's because the car is so quiet that you hear everything (kinda ironic). Thank you!

Very little to no cost in ownership for easily over 200k miles. If you want flashy look at me your paying though the nose in up front cost and throughout the ownership life. We buy these cars because they are stylish unbeatable dependability and use our cash for other things that bring in more cash. Real estate, stocks , retirement. Hard to buy these things if your flipping for parts and repairs . Get a certain age you you don't care what others think. You'll get there as well
