How to Connect SCOUT Wireless Security Camera

Steps for connecting Toucan SCOUT Wireless Security Camera to Toucan Smart Home App:
1. Open the Toucan Smart Home App
2. Tap on the “+” icon located in the middle of the screen, or at the top right if you already have a device paired to the app.
3. Add a new device by selecting “SCOUT”.
4. Name this device by either selecting one of the predefined names or typing your desired custom name, then click “Next”.
5. For network setup, please ensure you connect your camera only with a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
6. Input the Wi-Fi password on the second line, then click “Next”.
7. Ensure the SCOUT camera is sufficiently charged to turn on.
8. Switch the camera on.
9. The camera will immediately say, “The device is initializing.” If this does not happen, press and hold the “Sync” button for at least 3 seconds until the camera speaks. Then click “Next”.
10. Face the QR code on your phone towards the SCOUT camera until the camera says, “Setup is in progress”.
11. The SCOUT camera is now connected to your cell phone.
