They make most of there money with the budget stuff...you can sales pitch all you want but if you don't have the money(like most musicians) it's a no go
Acthually! That Marshall 20C is not loaded with a 1x12, the 50W version is. That little speaker, making all the glorious noises, is a 1x10! Kudos to Marshall for making the thing sound that good.
Came here to say the same. Also worth noting that the combo does have extension cab output jacks, so you can use it to push a bigger cabinet if you wanted.
@@robertcarey3383 Kind of thought so too at first, but the more I hear of these the more I'm thinking it absolutely was a right call. The speaker (and the cabinet) is very well voiced, and thus gives a unique twist to the sound that sits very nicely in a mix, and live setup. And, as mentioned it can always be paired with an external cabinet for some 12'ness when needed. 👍
Rabae is to me today what Dimebag was when I started playing guitar. Hes iconic in the sense he changes how I see and play guitar. Despite the two playing a very diferent style of music, Rabae has a sound unique to himself that is not only heavy and gutteral, but also has some of the most ominous and soothing tones that show the range of his chops. Its crazy how humble he is despite his success.
Dime was part of the reason I started playing as a kid. I think this comparison is really interesting, but you are right I think. It's players that play honestly I think..
Totally agree. I also really love Danish Pete's playing and tone . I love hearing the whole andetons crew rocking the high end epiphones. They make them sound so good and with my eyes closed I would think I am hearing custom shop gibsons . Their epiphone 59 videos are fantastic displays of great tone and playing. I have recently also been Heavily influenced by Jack of peach guitars. His tone and playing are killer He has changed my taste in tone and I have been able to get quite close to tome and his playing style is influencing me as well . Johan Segeborn has also been a big influence on me the last couple of years. His playing style is really great . Its very much a tone lovers playing style. Both Jack and Johan are able to get the best out of modern Gibson pickups. They have made me fall in love with the modern Gibson PAF style humbucker tone . I was all about replacing all my gibson pickups with Duncan's and I still have Duncan's in some of my guitars but Johan and Jack have made me fall in love with modern Gibson humbuckers an I now prefer them to most Duncan's with the exception of my seth lovers and whole lotta humbkckers but the custombucker and burstbucker families are just as good and in most cases I like the gibsons better these days
My favorite Andertons video in years. I used to be a big fan of the channel, but lately I have become quite distant. But this video was really nice and honest. Cheers.
So good to see Rabea back in the studio for Andertons. He is by far may favourite guitarist because of his range of music he can play. Makes me wonder just how much of that tone was him rather than equipment.
As Josh Scott revealed on his channel, there's a reason why the Behringer Super Fuzz is Sweetwater's best selling pedal. Partially because the JHS channel did a very glowing review of it, but mostly because it's really dang good.
I sold my Boss Hyperfuzz and replaced it with the Behringer. The behringer has the in between fuzz 1 and 2 setting but also had something I preferred over the boss.
This is such a good video, as a new guitar player I always think I would be better if I had more expensive equipment but Rabae just destroyed that myth. I guess more practice is all that’s needed. This should be required viewing for all new guitar players.
Absolutely amazing to see Rabea on the channel again. And I have to say, when I see that you choose FS300 I knew it will bloom under Rabea's fingers. That pedal sounds remarkable for such low price.

Fantastic player. I met Rebea at winter NAMM months before COVID shutdown. I asked him if he had to choose between 2 guitars… and before I even gave options he growls confidently “Fender Stratocaster”!
I grow weary of many of the contrived Anderton videos but not this one. I thought this one was interesting, candid, and his playing is outstanding! So I thoroughly enjoyed this.
I like my Marshall Origin and the foot switch came with it so I don't see why using it to turn on the effects loop would be an issue. The foot switch has a boost switch too so you can use the effects loop and hit the boost from the pedal. Works well for me. The Origin has a great clean and you can get it to drive and break up if you want.
Bea: your success makes us all happy. Keep winning at guitar and winning at life. You are an amazing human being. Thank you for sharing everything you do.
The Marshall Origin is a fantastic pedal platform. I have a 50c and my favorite pedals for chuggin with it is an 808 into a Nobels ODR-1. The speaker combo of choice with it is a DV77 paired with a Jensen Nighthawk. The tilt knob is what makes it such a great pedal platform. Dime the tilt for your Marshall Plexi tones, and if it gets too bright, adjust the tilt.
So great to see Rabea back. So many videos I've loved his playing, and it's really cool to see how it's evolved (from the limited bit we got here). Please convince him to do more videos with you guys. The level of talent on this channel is always great, and gets even better when Rabea is involved.
Rabea knows what he talks about and always nails it with his comments and suggestions. The Captain wants to talk everything "good" an sell it, - understandable. I listen to Rabea.
The Orange Super Crush 100 is an amazing amp. Takes pedals really well too. The tone isn't so much the usual Orange house sound, the dirt channel leans more towards Marshall. Really should have picked that one.
I thought the same. Nicest thing played in the whole video, those chords sound great on a baritone. Early 2000s vibes. Nice looking guitar too but the top end is nasty and fizzy
I keep seeing all the comments about Lee not being able to dial in metal tone but this man is simply incredible at helping people dial in metal tone and *that* is irreplaceable.
Agree, especially the lower mid range, nothing compares with Ibanez if you care about the weight of the guitar. Also the Sterling by Music Man midrange guitars compete with the Mexican Strats that cost twice as much. Also, getting a used Sterling or Ibanez gets you the best deal of all!
Funny. Been watching your videos for quite a while and especially last week. Last Wednesday a friend of mine told me he had a ticket left for Wiesbaden Germany for band I've never heard before. Went there and was quite surprised to see the hairy guy on stage. Enjoyed it a lot.
One of the rig I've been using for the past 4-5 years : Ibanez Gio Grx40 - got it used from a friend for about $30 Zoom G1on multi-effects pedal - $59 Total, 30+59= 89 usd, under $90 Being a broke college student was tough lol

I have said that maybe a thousand times already, but I'm gone say it one more time, Mr. Rabea, you're just amazing ! Thank you, and the Captain, which still manage to bring you on the chanel. Thank you guys !!!!
Even a potato with strings attached to it would sound epic in Rabea's hands. Btbh there's sooo much good knowledge to take from this videos. You guys are awesome, Bea you're simply the best ❤. Cheers!
Rabea exercises excellent restraint for not using the trem on the Squier until the very end as he knows it would completely knock it out of tune. Good product demonstration.
The screamer and particularly that fuzz are no joke. The EQ also does the job but is noisy. Wish they had shown the hidden totally unofficial mode on the fuzz - now that does melt faces. The boost is also extremely useful - I use for recording synths all the time.
So glad to see Bea back at Anderton's. What an absolute beast of a guitar player. Anyone who hasn't seen his collaboration with Stormzy at the Reading festival is missing out.
Funny that they mentioned rehousing the Behringer. I rehouse 2 or 3 a week as a fun hobby and sell them on Reverb all of the time. It's such a good pedal.
I’m totally with Rabea when it comes to the quality of delays and particularly reverbs. As we’ve seen here 20 squids can by you an awesome fuzz pedal but you do really need to up the budget to get decent reverb sounds.
Thanks guys🙏FYI, I’m sure someone else has already mentioned, but the Origin 20 has a 10” speaker, the 50 combo has a 12” and is phenomenal if you like early Marshall sounds,
Thanks for finally addressing the Pacifica thing. People still regurgitate advice from 20 years ago, even though the entire industry has caught up to Yamaha. Where Yamaha doesn't get enough recognition is at the high end, people will go with USA Fender, Gibson or PRS when they spend big money but overlook what Yamaha can truly do without worrying about budget.
Rabea does use a type of solid state live. The Quad Coretex. The expensive tastes come from content providing…and there is nothing wrong with that. You go with the company that sponsors. These are good as we see more of Rabea playing other products. Good stuff 🤘🏻👍🏻
Ok late to the party, but I would choose this rig for Rabea from Andertons: Marshall Origin 50W - £589 Squier Affinity Stratocaster FMT HSS (Black Burst, Maple Neck) - £239 TC Electronic HOF2 - £129 TC Electronic Dark Matter - £47 Total = £1004 So only £4 over budget as of Oct 24, but I reckon Rabea would ROCK this budget rig!
Bugera V22 combo ($499 U.S., with clean and gain channels and foot switch included (3 12 AX7 preamp tubes, 2 EL 84 power tubes); the Squire Affinity sounds fantastic and it's beautiful, TC Electronics Hall of Fame Reverb (about $160 U.S.), the Behringer fuzz is incredible for 20 quid, Add the Tone City Delay for about $60 and you're good to go..
I really like the bugera has automatic tube monitoring also! I literally just bought a jc 22 but honestly I might return for the bugera I just can’t decide 😭
i have that valeton and it is really rather good! my 2 bugbears are- the drive comes before the fuzz (i'd prefer fuzz first because of the impedance fuzzes like to see, and because the drive would tighten and focus the fuzz), and secondly there's no fx loop- other dappers have this and i'd like to be able to put other drives after the D and F built in but before the delay and reverb.
Katana 100w 1x12, LTD TE200 in Snow White and a Boss GT-1. Get all your tone direct out of the GT-1 into the incredibly clean power section on the Katana and you can even just send direct to the board and skip the amp if you want. I've been playing a TE-200 (albeit modded within an inch of it's life now) and they play really well for the money.
Suggestion: the Dispatch Master is a great pedal and sounds awesome, but when in a budget crunch, TC electronics HOF mini and Flashback mini are 99 pounds each and ultra versatile, to the point of it being bonkers. That saves you 21 pounds compared to the EQD (219), which you can use for a clip on tuner or some other essentials (Beer? Beer!) Otherwise cool rig and awesome playing! Silver burst looks great on the Strat to be honest.
Rabea is an amazing player. There are lots of Marshall Origin amps on the used market because of buyer's remorse. With the right pedal and player, they can sound good, but most people who buy Marshall amps want gain, and it's just not there.
I love the tones that Rabea can pull out of the guitar. And I especially love the ambient sounds that he can generate. @Rabea please do a video series on ambient guitar playing!!!!! I would love to learn to play like you!
I love the clean channel on my 6505+. IDK how the new 5150s are made but the only 2 things that made me abandon it was the weight and the lack of an output poti for both channels. Makes it soo stressful when the engineer asks you to turn it up or down...
That Squier neck singlecoil with the Marshall and the reverb sounds is exactly my thing. Great sound. I would have boosted it with a Boss GE-7 to get more versatility and wouldn’t even need more gain. I think I need that Behringer Fuzz, though.
Needs more than 1K, but very versatile rig: Jackson JS32 or Kramer Striker. HX Effects Catalyst 100 IMO. Origin is a good choice, IMO. I have the Origin 50C combo, was soo good, I also have the Origin 50H and 2 x Origin 4x12 cabs, using the HX Effects in front. Also have the Catalyst 100, using the HX Effects in 4CM with MIDI to control the amp patch and to control the amp boost.
With the Origin FX Loop, you can plug in a 6.3mm to 3.5mm headphone adapter after switching the FX Loop on with the Footswitch to effectively 'complete' the circuit and not have the Footswitch plugged in after that!
Great video Thanks !! You guys gave huge amounts of info in this video on how everything has to be matched ! This guitar has to go with that amp and so on ! also how Rebea has grown in his field !
Easy for me: POD GO, (£379) Friedman BE Mini 30w Head (£199), Laney 212 (£219), Ibanez GRG121DX-WNF (£199) =£996 Basically, send the POD GO into the return of the FX loop, thereby using the BE Mini as a 30w power amp, all my rig options are in the POD along with expression pedal functionality, a 212 cab for some more oomph than a 112, and a barebones hardtail superstrat with 24 frets, i can do just about anything with that rig 👌
I'd grab a Line6 Catalyst, to be honest. For 450 quid you get a lot of power and flexibility. Gets you a few effects as well. But Behringer do make some very good sounding pedals. Their Tube Screamer clone is pretty much identical sounding to the original.
I own the Fender BassBreaker 15 and I can honestly say its truly one of the best amps I have ever played period. It definitely lacks a little for a live session, however, it would definitely be powerful enough to rock a small club.
Please be aware of scam comments. Andertons will never contact you via telegram.

What's your seller name on reverb?
@@anthonyplayter2981 I'll reach out to you shortly if you're interested in one. I've got 2 on my bench I haven't posted yet.
Sure, just post link :)

Keep your eyes out. I'll have 2 more this week.
I’m totally with Rabea when it comes to the quality of delays and particularly reverbs. As we’ve seen here 20 squids can by you an awesome fuzz pedal but you do really need to up the budget to get decent reverb sounds.
Thanks guys🙏FYI, I’m sure someone else has already mentioned, but the Origin 20 has a 10” speaker, the 50 combo has a 12” and is phenomenal if you like early Marshall sounds,
Totally enjoyed this one, i love bea and the capt together, such good chemistry. More please!
I love Rabeas approach to getting his sound. Great to see him back on the channel
always great to see Rabea
Love Bea, he's so good but so diplomatic. 🤣
Rabea does use a type of solid state live. The Quad Coretex. The expensive tastes come from content providing…and there is nothing wrong with that. You go with the company that sponsors. These are good as we see more of Rabea playing other products. Good stuff 🤘🏻👍🏻
With all the distortion, drive and fuzz pedals he uses, it's pretty clear that he doesn't dislike transistors.
Ok late to the party, but I would choose this rig for Rabea from Andertons:
Marshall Origin 50W - £589
Squier Affinity Stratocaster FMT HSS (Black Burst, Maple Neck) - £239
TC Electronic HOF2 - £129
TC Electronic Dark Matter - £47
Total = £1004
So only £4 over budget as of Oct 24, but I reckon Rabea would ROCK this budget rig!
@@AGuitarNinja I can see where it could be a close decision.
WELCOME BACK REBEA! Great vid, lovely idea and fantastic tones and of course phenomenal playing.
i have that valeton and it is really rather good! my 2 bugbears are- the drive comes before the fuzz (i'd prefer fuzz first because of the impedance fuzzes like to see, and because the drive would tighten and focus the fuzz), and secondly there's no fx loop- other dappers have this and i'd like to be able to put other drives after the D and F built in but before the delay and reverb.
Super nice to see Bea again. I agree with all of his choices and reasoning.
Interesting video
Rabea’s great sense kind of makes him a tough customer! Great job guys!
Huge fan of Rabea... even more after this... not all metal but everything!
Yep. Everyone's favourite the Rab! Great vid guys!
Beer!)
Otherwise cool rig and awesome playing! Silver burst looks great on the Strat to be honest.
Rabea is amazing!!! The fact that he can sound awesome regardless is a feat in itself!! Tone KING!
Sorry, just had to comment, was watching the preview and the subtitles called you 'Repair Massage', that seems so inviting!!
Rabea is an amazing player. There are lots of Marshall Origin amps on the used market because of buyer's remorse. With the right pedal and player, they can sound good, but most people who buy Marshall amps want gain, and it's just not there.
Actually really impressed with the multi strip. For 100 quid that's an insane value, and has a headphone out with a cab mod for quiet practice
I love the tones that Rabea can pull out of the guitar. And I especially love the ambient sounds that he can generate. @Rabea please do a video series on ambient guitar playing!!!!! I would love to learn to play like you!
Thank you guys for all you do from Circleville Ohio , very entertaining and informative channel.
Love you british frs
I'm a simple man; I see Rabea on the thumbnail of an Andertons video, I click it.
As for the amp agree with Rabea, the 5150 is for one thing specificly. The O20c is more an allrounder.
Yamaha Pacifica has delivered for decades. A Hall of Fame Guitar
On the Origin, turn the master up all the way and control the volume with the gain. It drives better that way.
I do miss you guys wandering around the store. Made for a much better video.
Love Rabea. He's so transparent.
not surprised the behringer fuzz is good, it's just a boss fz-2 clone. loved when they turned on mode 2 and it was immediate electric wizard.
Great content. love the Origin, but definitely as a head with a decent cab. Nice to see Bea back on Andertons. You're on good form chaps.
Needs more than 1K, but very versatile rig:
Jackson JS32 or Kramer Striker.
HX Effects
Catalyst 100
IMO.
Much love for Bea and andertons. Great video guys
One of the funniest videos was the Kaoss Pad demo with Rabea and Rob. The dancing part was incredible 😂
Easy for me: POD GO, (£379) Friedman BE Mini 30w Head (£199), Laney 212 (£219), Ibanez GRG121DX-WNF (£199) =£996
Basically, send the POD GO into the return of the FX loop, thereby using the BE Mini as a 30w power amp, all my rig options are in the POD along with expression pedal functionality, a 212 cab for some more oomph than a 112, and a barebones hardtail superstrat with 24 frets, i can do just about anything with that rig 👌
Welcome back Rabea - we have missed you!
I'd grab a Line6 Catalyst, to be honest. For 450 quid you get a lot of power and flexibility. Gets you a few effects as well. But Behringer do make some very good sounding pedals. Their Tube Screamer clone is pretty much identical sounding to the original.
Suggestion for a future video with Rabea: Dethroning the Dispatch Master, or How to Do High-Fidelity Reverb and Delay on a Budget.
I own the Fender BassBreaker 15 and I can honestly say its truly one of the best amps I have ever played period. It definitely lacks a little for a live session, however, it would definitely be powerful enough to rock a small club.
