I love warbirds with radial engines and aerobatics so I share your enthusiasm for your Yak. It looks to be in outstanding condition inside and out plus you have nice avionics upgrade. The detailed procedures you demonstrate in your videos are very interesting to those of us who are yet to enjoy flying one of these. Looking forward to future videos.

Hi Philipp, enjoyed seeing this flight in your Yak 52. The weather looked perfect for your flight and the Blue Sky was stunning.
Have to ask what the purpose of the little Red Ball hanging from the roof?
I went back several times to try to see the bird and just couldn't see it on the video. It almost looked like a Hawk or smaller Bird of Prey. Birds have always been a problem flying around the aircraft. I wonder if it was distracted trying to catch something and was so focused on that and didn't notice your plane. Glad that you were able to land safely and hope your plane is ok.
Hope the final part of your Aerobatic training go well and look forward to some future videos featuring it.

So, the little red ball is the emergency canopy opener in case you need to bail out.
Yeah, I was pretty sad because ofvthe bird, but at least the plane has no damage.
The aerobatics training will make an awesome video sometimes within the next weeks :)

I stumbled upon your channel with your previous video preflighting your yak. Nice flight and beautiful Yak! I’m looking forward to watching some aerobatic flying in the upcoming videos. You couldn’t have said it better on how the Yak52 handles, and mine pulls pretty hard with my 3 blade MT prop. I love flying my Yak every chance I get. Are you on Facebook and part of the Red Star pilots group? We would all enjoy you sharing your videos there.

Thanks a lot for this great feedback! Aerobstics rating takes some time to be finished, but I’ll sure upload videos of different aerobatic figures :)
Very interesting with your prop, have you had the 2-blade before? I’d be really interested to see how the difference is performance-wise..
Honestly deleted FB long ago, are you guys only available there?

Why does it look like the propeller is turning clockwise, I thought M14P turns the other way

Must been an optical illusion, it definitely turns counter-clockwise
