    Have you ever tried adding all the water first. I’m thinking it might be easier to mix. Thanks

    Your work is incredible! I do similar work. A great trick to complete the whole finish is to take a small broken piece of grey concrete brick and rub it over the cured stucco; it knocks off the high points and makes the faux stones look tumbled, beat up and older.

    I purchased Surecrete wall stamp cement, mixed it and made sure it stays on the trowel vertically but after applying it to my 4ft x 5ft wall it already set and I could not stamp it. Do I have the wrong product? How do you keep it from setting? Does the pac x gives you more working time? Please help. Thanks. Nice wall!

      I’ve done jobs several years ago and they are still good as new, I recommend sealing every 4-5 years or when needed

    Could you tell me the material completely.. by writting

    • @DanielMorrison7
      @DanielMorrison7  4 года назад

      Sorry such a late response. Trupac x 15 lb bag these must be ordered as far as I know. mixed with one 80lb bag or mortar mix from home Depot.

    • @DanielMorrison7
      @DanielMorrison7  4 года назад

      Also each batch makes about a 95lb batch. And covers about 10 sq ft. However since the trupacx has to be ordered get a couple extra bags of this, you don't want to have a small unfinished section for 2 weeks.

    Hallo.
    What kind of concret Do you use?

    • @DanielMorrison7
      @DanielMorrison7  4 года назад

      It's all at the beginning of the video. A detailed walk through of the material and the concrete. It is 1 bag of Tru pac x weight is 18 lbs I believe. And one 80 lb bag of mortar mix from home Depot. One bag to one bag per batch. Each batch would do close to 10sq ft on the wall at about 1" thick. Need a minimum of 1" could go to 1.5"-2" if you need to. Stamps are drystack fieldstone 5 set.

    Which is cheaper stamped concrete or real stone

    • @DanielMorrison7
      @DanielMorrison7  3 года назад

      Stamped concrete of your doing it. But if you hire someone probably about the same

    • @DanielMorrison7
      @DanielMorrison7  3 года назад

      Material speaking... Concrete set up is cheaper than the real stone. But in labor not for sure. It probably even out about the same. Stone may be a little more expensive

    • @fordguyfordguy
      @fordguyfordguy 3 года назад

      Right now because of supply line disruption you can’t even get stone shipped to me for 8 weeks- but you can get concrete today.

      @@fordguyfordguy for your scratch coat do you use the same one to one ratio? Or straight mortar mix?

    • @fordguyfordguy
      @fordguyfordguy 3 года назад +1

      @@patromero155 Hey Pat, neither - I use one part Portland and 2 parts sand. I follow Mike Haduk's methods, and I will link you a video below. But remember that how you do scratch coat up north is different than scratch coat in Florida, Mike talks about this in the video. ruclips.net/video/4uPKUUN8264/видео.html
