I think it's about people who kill in the name of religion, whether it be Islam or Christianity or anything else. Having said that, "Un-consenting plural wives" makes me think of Islam. John Petrucci is Catholic so he's obviously not saying Christianity leads to violence, but that people who kill in the name of God are deluded and actually not of God at all.

It's specifically about the People's Temple, the cult behind the infamous Jonestown Massacre and other cults of its kind who take Christianity and pervert it for greedy, egotistic, hateful or evil purposes, all in the name of God.
I think it's about all of them since it's about how religion is used for violence and people do horrible things in the name of god in all religions. it's a human problem religion doesn't matter.
