Can Ross Edgley do the unthinkable? Will he be the first to swim around the entire mainland of Great Britain? We follow Ross on one of his biggest challenges to date. This is the Great British Swim.
It’s a week of mixed emotions for Ross as he makes his way across one of Scotland’s toughest obstacles yet - The Moray Firth. Amongst the toil - a flying visit from some new friends brings up the mood on the boat, only for past demons to rear their ugly heads at the worst possible moment.
Through weekly vlogs and live broadcasts of the voyage, we want to leave you feeling motivated and ready as ever for your next big challenge. The Great British Swim pushes the boundaries of what the human body is capable of. How can you embody this test for yourself?
Ross Edgley’s ‘The Worlds Fittest Book’ is being backed up in a big way with this ultimate test. Oh - and for context? “It’s the equivalent of swimming the English Channel every day.”

I'm watching a year after the fact and my god, this is absolutely amazing. It's gripping, intense, and joyous. Ross, you and your team are an amazing inspiration. If you can literally *swim around your home country* then goddamn it, I can get myself back in shape. I've got my top 2 of the old college 6-pack back and I'm working 4-6 days a week to get the rest back, too. :)

Seeing the title gave me the disappointement that I only have when I fail at something myself. I am completely sucked in to your amazing swim as if it were my own. The world might not be watching but you don't need the world to have a whoooole lot of people standing behind your amazing adventure!
