- IT WAS FIESTA IN OUR BARANGAY, SO WE WENT TO EAT WITH FRIENDS... ONE WHO WAS FROM JAPAN!
It has been such a great feeling hanging out back at the beach home in Cateel. June 13th is the local Barangay Fiesta, and we were invited to go eat at a few houses. In this video, we eat, we laugh, and we share moments with friends. After enjoying some Filipino Fiesta moments... we head off to Baganga and check out a new waterfall we have never been to. Although our Japanese friend had already visited! What a legend!
Another raw Philippines beach home video from the east coast of Mindanao...

😂 Is 🎉more 🎉in Philippines ♥️
The Philippines is majority Roman Catholic. We're not discounting other denominations, our Muslim brothers and sisters and our animists brethrens. Our Catholic faith, our Christian faith runs deep. And we're proud of it. The whole calendar year is peppered with Fiestas and celebrations, that makes us unique in Asia. Proud Pinoy.🇵🇭
hi jule taga asa ka nga pilapil?❤
@@BongiePilapilMacasmga taga Cavite City ung angkan namin na mga Pilapil.
@@julespilapilacosta2763 oh we're from Liloan and North Cotabato
@@BongiePilapilMacas maraming Pilapil sa Pinas. Malay natin baka we're distant relatives.😊
It reminds me of travelling across South America, where there seems to be a fiesta every week. Phillipines seems like more of a Hispanic vibe than Asian. Islander/Hispanic.
It's so nice to see Kulas surrounded by his friends knowing from Canada you are very lucky to have found a good loyal friends just like your brothers, look out each other just like your family together in adventures and fun. Thank you for sharing your life in the Philippines and even better now you are a Filipino citizen congratulations Kulas!!! Take care and God Bless you all

When Canadian guy Kyle trying to become a Pilipino. He was called Kulas and now he's a pilipino, he's full pledge Kulas. And, when Kulas becomes a saint. He'll be called San Nikulas and a Barangay in Cateel will be named after him. Lol!
😂😂Nikulas.... Very funny ....❤
like san nikulas fiesta his home..😂
🤣 You’re way too funny for this Kulas channel !! 😂
There already was a St. Nicolas. On his birthday december 5th, he (we) gives all our children presents, here in the Netherlands. From that also came the American Santa Clause tradition, of giving presents on Christmas day.
Would be fun though, if the Philippines adopted a St. Nikulas tradition in the future. With everyone wearing Kulas headbands. 😅
Wow!!! Kulas The Drone Shots Is Really Amazing!!! From The Blue Of The Ocean & The Cascading Waterfalls!!! Thank You For Sharing Your Laag-laag & Discovering The Hidden Beauty In The Forest!!!❤❤❤
Ur Japanese Friend is soooo funny. Hope to see more of him in the Vlog
During fiestas, a lot of guests, “eat and run.” Because of a lot of invitations, guests will eat and then go to the next invitation to eat. Thank you and Power On!
The beaches in the Philippines are beautiful and the water falls looks amazing

6am good morning Pilipino Kulas, I admire what you have accomplish to be able to go around and enjoy the beautiful places in the Philippines. Thank you! for sharing it to the Pilipinos who does not have the opportunity to travel. Power On!
I like that!🎉
San Antonio in English St. Anthony de Padua, Franciscan Priest from Italy. Your Japanese friend is so funny. I like him. Yes, Filipino Fiesta, you can go house-to-house and to eat.
"Kubkub" actually means dig, its used slang as to dig in to the food.
If you’re asking in Philippines there’s only two canonized saints in the Philippines; Lorenzo Ruiz & St Pedro Calungsod , God Bless everyone & HAPPY FIESTA 🪅
Right👍
Loved the drone views of the waterfalls. Really magical. Halo halo is the best way to end a day! The halo halo at EC Snack Zone looked just like the picture - lami kaayo! 🤙
Fantastic drone shot at the falls… Japanesse know’s where the gems is😂😂😂
I love the BH expressions!!!!🥰🤣🤣🤣🤣 only in the Philippines 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
da best!
@@BecomingFilipino thank you Kyle .
Try to get your hands on a catholic calendar usually sold in churches. All the days of the year is dedicated to a saint. For a few generations back, it was a practice to be named after a saint or add a saint's name to a child's name during baptism. Some priests then won't accept names that are not of a saint's so a second name is added. Most Filipinos commonly have at least 2 first names.
There are countless saints in the Philippines & each saints are being celebrated that’s what we called fiestas. Happy fiesta everyone have fun & eat foods as much as you can, anyways it’s free😁
I think there are 2 saints from the Phil. the rest are from other countries.
There's actually a book of saints, Kulas. There's countless of them and there's new ones being added once they are beatified. Every barangay, town and sitio have fiestas so each celebrates a Saint's birthday.
The number of saints celebrated during fiestas would be quite a study! Just imagine 7,000+ islands in the Philippines and some barangays have individual fiestas.😊
You guys have got the cheerfulness of the Filipinos. 😍😍😍
We actually use coconut cream or milk for our coffee or chocolate drinks for over a decade now
because of our lactose intolerance and loving it , love all your vlogs😊
Good view.... Waterfall, natural, home beach.... 😊👍👍👍🙏@rudioxce
The nunber of saints are the same everywhere for Catholics. LOL. They're canonized by the Vatican. You just may not recognize them because it's in Spanish.

It’s only an excuse to get free meal Kulas😆😆just kidding.. it’s one way of getting together in the barangay Happy Feasta!! It’s just like the celebration of thanksgiving in the US but in the Philippines, we share the blessing to everyone..
We share the same fiesta since our patron saint is San Antonio de Padua. We celebrated it about 2 weeks ago. Barangays that share the same saint will celebrate fiesta simulataneously.
Hi kulas, nielma here from Midsayap North Cotabato, just share my answer on your intro question, when you refer to a filipino saints and was canonized we have only 2 first we have Saint Lorenzo Ruiz who is Chinese-Filipino and was the first filipino who venerated in the catholic church, he died at nagasaki japan and 2nd was St. Pedro Calungsod he is a filipino-visayan migrant sacristan and missionary catechist who died in Guam, hes place of burial is in cebu. He was canonized last oct 2012 in st. Peters basilica, vatican city

Another beautiful waterfall discovery.. thank you for sharing Kulas.. I wish I can swim there too.. but I don’t know how to swim 😂😂
The drone shots were amazing! 👏🏼
June 13 is the feast of St. Anthony of Padua
Kyle, it depends on how you define saints. If you define it by how the Catholic church does, then it is likely hundreds since tonws often adopt the same saints. If you define it how the bible defines it, then any Christian who dies is a saint. So it could be billions.
Beautiful blue water there. Hopefully the resorts dont take over the coast and ruin the vibe.
There is also a city in the U.S. called
San Antonio in Texas which has an
NBA team called San Antonio Spurs.

San Antonio de Padua, Feast June 13
San Antonio is the Spanish/Filipino version. English is Saint Anthony de Padua. Patron saint of finding lost things. So if you lose something valuable you pray to St Anthony to find it. There are more than 10K saints recognized by the Catholic Church.
😂😂😂😂..Eat all you CAN KULAS.That's what the Filipinos are...❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉.Happy fiesta
Depending where you check, there between 10,000 and 11,000 Roman Catholic canonized saints. Encyclopedia Brittanica claims 10k. Thanks for the blogs. My wife and I watch you constantly to learn about the other provinces we have yet to experience.
I love how you stir your coffee Kulas. Funny!🤣
classic if no spoon around
May saltik na talaga etong tao na to. Wala ka na sa tamamg hwesyo. Hindi tama yong naisipan na prank. Violent prank. Nakita mo ba ang galit at emosyon nina Alyan at Elvis? Paano kung naroon si Patcha , maawat mo ba ang galit noong 2 lalake? Irresponsible!!! Remember the story of "the boy who cry wolf"? I don't wish anything bad for you Rowell, but I woulf not be surprised either. You SOB!!! Watvhing from the Big🍎🗽
Sr. Sto. NiNo is the most celebrated in the Philippines
This is vlog. Is so spontaneous...starts with a fiesta to chasing waterfalls then capping itt with halu-halo. Simply the best way to spend a day.😊.
Dili na Santo Tlga Sir. Kulas yan ay Name lang ng Barangay kya twag dyan is Fiesta Celebrate lang kung Birthday ng Barangay yan ang ibig sabhin..Enjoy lang mo Kulas and Kumar...SANA ALL..Eat ALL U CAN..

Woow! Happy pangasay fiesta dha kulas! Enjoy eating!😁😂😉🫶🫰🏻
San Antonio Padua po ba or San Antonio Abad? Yes Kulas almost everyday there is a Saint being celebrated but the Catholic Church gave way to ordinary days as well, otherwise, there will be fiesta everyday. Thank you for your interest in becoming Filipino.
Whenever it is fiesta here in my city, our barangay will always have an unofficial Battle of the Karaoke alongside the food and the festivities as every household will activate their karaoke machines during that time. Even households like mine that don't usually do karaoke are not to be outdone, although we only use a bluetooth speaker with microphones and use the karaoke versions of songs on youtube haha. It's usually a "Matira Matibay" kind of thing because sometimes the other households will stop their karaoke sessions sooner or later.
That waterfall looks majestic though; reminds me of the scene from Jurassic Park when the main characters first arrived on the island.
Every day in calendar has a Saint and Filipinos used to be named after a particular Saint when a baby is born
Halo halo na sad, ikaon nalang ko ninyo!! Peborit nako na ug binignit!🤤🍽️ 🥣 🐖🙃😉😋 🇵🇭🇵🇭🌸 Astig ang “bh” Krema and you just gave them the best advertisement- now they’ll have more than a million customers- and they should send you more than a dozen huge boxes of Krema for a supply and to share to your team and neighborhood especially to your Ate Cecil. Cheers! 🎉
Those are not FIlipino saints lol. San Juan is St. John the Baptist, San Fracisco is St Francis of Asisi, San Antonio is St. Anthony of Padua. Mostly are European. Philippines only have 1 or 2. one of them is San Lorenzo.
June 13 is the feast day of St Anthony de Padua hence the fiesta of your barangay.
If you want to know how many saints there are in the catholic list of saints... It's about 10,000 more or less... But if you are asking how many Filipino saints there are, there are only actually two... San Lorenzo Ruiz and San Pedro Calungsod... 😊
The pig is afraid of bamboo stick, thats why the litson is fainted 🤣🤣🤣✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽
As far as I know there are only 2 sainst from Philippines which was canonized by the Catholic church. St. Lorenzo Ruiz and St. Pedro Calungsod. Those partron saints you mentioned are also Catholic saints but non-Filipino.
Great local culture immersion and STUNNING deep forest and AWESOME waterfalls.
The Japanese invaded Philippines during WWII. But they didn't succeeded because Filipino people are able to fought toe to toe. Until General Mc Arthur of America came to the rescue.
Unlimited Saints because some are imported like in El Salvador, Misamis Oriental, their Patron Saint is the Our Lady of the Snows to which a colleague from Manila said: "Merong palang ganyan?"
One thing for sure, no place has Saint Elmo (San Tilmo in Cebuano) or Santa Klaus (oy sound familiar) hahah
Knowlege input : San Lorenzo Ruiz and San Pedro Calungsod, Filipino Saints. In comparison, there are 26 Martyrs in Japan.
"UNSAY TIRADA BAI?"
Hapon: " WA LAGiiiiii!!!"
.HAHAHHAHAHA. museeettt...
San Antonio de Padua june 13. San Isidro Labrador- May 15. Patron Saint of dFarmers.❤
10,000K In Catholic Church!but only 2 saints was canonized by the Vatican in the Philippines 🇵🇭

Maganda talaga ang Pilipinas. What makes it look bad are the corrupt piticians.
10s of thousands of Filipinas have become citizens in NorthAmerica. They left for a better life. One man, after 10 yrs is finally accepted as a Philippine citizen and its a big deal? Why?
