Trust me...a lot of people underestimated zatanna. People think she's just a hocus-pocus person and that's it.
to be fair like ninety percent of the time her magic fails on every villian
@@frasechico it's simply because most of those episodes she is in she isn't believing in herself. Everytime she helps she always has doubts that she can do it. Her full potential is just simply being happy about things.

The most impressive thing about it is that most of Zatanna's strongest feats are in BASE FORM!
so are wanda’s 💀 the life force is wanda’s power and wanda has held back a blast from the house of ideas which is basically every story line and it’s where the one above all was born

@@welp3694 but she can't do that constantly, she loses her sanity which while powerful can leave a massive weakness which Dr Strange did use against her to knock her out and did counter her mass genocide on mutant powers with the help of emma frost with a few mutants remaining. Zatanna is always in control and never loses exhaustion unlike wanda, her weakness isn't as exploitable and requires knowing her background of her believing herself but even then Zatanna might not fall for it.

I loved this fight. And concerning Zatanna's playful cocky banter that's part of her mindset basically she always brings the energetic, excitable, flirtatious showmanship that is present in her Las Vegas shows into a fight in the form of a playful cockiness basically as she told Batman in the current comics "I want the win but I also want to look good and sexy while getting the win."
I was so happy with this outcome, as I was rooting for Zatanna from the very beginning despite so many people greatly underestimating her capabilities. She felt like a real genuine underdog in all this. She has been one of my favorite DC Heroines ever since I first saw her in Justice League Unlimited. I've just always had an affinity with magician types so it was nice to see my Injustice main get the win in the end.
I've just always loved how plucky and optimistic she is. With so many brooding heroes constantly sighing about the injustice of our universe, it's nice to see heroes and heroines like Zatanna and the Flash that look on the brighter side of things. Plus, she's just extra cute in that outfit

The similarities between Jonathan and Tanjiro Amber is that they're both polite and kind individuals whos parents have been killed by the main antagonist in their respective series. Both of them use a breathing technique in fighting supernatural opponents (hamon for Jonathan while water breathing for Tanjiro) and both wield swords
That and Sun Like Powers (Jonathon's Hamon and Tanjiro's Sword, both used to defeat Vampire/Demons who are weak to Sunlight)
Superman vs Hulk would just be Hulk getting one shot. Its not even close

Regarding the "Marvel almost always loses against DC" thing: That's not really true. Out of all the Marvel vs DC matchups, Marvel won 12 and DC won 14 (including this one). DC's lead is only 2 (was 1 before this episode). They are basically neck and neck.
By my count it should be 12 (Marvel) 13 DC. I may be wrong but could I ask how did you come up with that number?

The one you said you kinda remember. It's an older series called The Avengers: United They Stand. And used the West Coast Avengers rather than the big 3. Those 3 being Thor Iron Man and Hulk with Captain America replacing Hulk. Captain America wasn't originally part of the Avengers.
The United They Stand series had Hank Pym as the leader, with Scalet Witch, Hawkeye, Wonder Man, and a different D lister called Tigra as the leads. With Hawkeye being voiced by the same guy who did Gambit in the 90s X-Men series.

Jonathan has almost every advantage surprisingly (aside from experience which definitely goes to Tanjiro), just has better feats overall
@@ashuto2025 not exactly. Vampires aren’t demons. And also Tanjiro has breathing techniques that are as hot as the sun. It’s not flame breathing, it’s sun breathing. A common mistake people make.

Not to burst your bubble bud, but Jonathan is comparable to Dio and you seen where Death Battle had him at, Tanjiro is screwed if he got nothing near those levels
This battle was spectacular. I honestly had a feeling Zatanna would take the win. But not only that, the voices, the references, the animation, was all great...

@17:00 it seems that way but up until this episode, DC and Marvel were even with wins; both having 12 each. Same thing happened before Thanos vs Darkseid.

To be fair, the Japanese word for vampire is basically "blood-sucking oni" so it's probably a translation issue too.

Not all cases where DC wins against Marvel, sometimes it could be the absolute opposite, but yeah stick with the idea of picking DC, but remember that Marvel can beat DC in some fights

Personally shes one of my favorite heros since I was a kid playing the DC version of Marveel UA, i forget the name. But shes such a good character.
Looking at some of Zatanna's feats. Also she technically doesn't need to speak backwards to use magic, she's used magic without speaking multiple times, but back to her feats. Like when she defeated Zorr, a time tailor who could control reality and fought the spectre. Their fight was bizzare, with them growing bigger than planets and throwing each other through realities and messing with time. Or when she and other magic users powered up the spectre to match the anti monitor after he had destroyed the multiverse and was becoming an aspect of the presence. Or the when she made up 1/3 the power necessary to freeze time throughout the multiverse. Or when she held off Pralaya, the feminine side of the great evil beast and non existence itself, after Pralaya had destroyed all of creation. And that was from a mental projection of her and constantine she made after she had been erased from existence. It was stated by nightmare nurse that her magical potential was so great that she rarely uses even a fraction of her full power to preserve her normality. She's been stated to be one of the most powerful sorcerers in all dimensions and even the quintessance, a group of 5 cosmic beings that oversee the multiverse, count her as a powerful future ally. Zatanna doesn't often get big flashy displays of power but this is mostly because, as stated by her, when you deal with magic it can be hard to maintain your sense of normality. This is why she holds back a lot of her power. But the very fact that she was able to overcome the upside down man, while in his own magical dimension, is incredibly impressive. The upside down man is the shadow of Hecate, the first being of magic to form from the godsphere during the beginning of everything. Hecate was the most powerful of the gods, they all feared her power. When she looked upon the upside down man she created a barrier between the positive multiverse and trapped him in the dark multiverse. Hecate and the upside down man are practically magic itself and Dr Fate mentioned that the upside down man's magic was potent because it drew directly from the source, aka God basically. This is definitely an outervsal feat, one of a few she's done. When she had chaos magic she actually ripped apart of the comic book panel and destroyed it. This was technically an amp since she was given it by mordru. Plus there are feats they have said that I haven't included in this.
DC characters are overall just better and stronger than Marvel characters
Don't catch these often, but so often enjoyable when I do stumble on them. Still recall the first reaction to the Red vs. Blue DB.

Basically of all the perceptions in a debate like this, This was the one I liked the least. In my opinion there should be a tie, since in reality Scarlet Witch has died many times but is reborn from nowhere in the comics, Chaos is superior to Zatanna's magic and even much more powerful in DC.

Jonathan Joestar vs Tanjiro Kamado. two gentle and polite characters who boast impressive physical abilities which are enhanced by their special breathing techniques and training, who have a demonic sibling who contrast in that Dio is an enemy of Jojo while Nezuko is an ally of Tanjiro. Both fight with the power of the sun, both have used both water and fire-related techniques, both fight hordes of unholy monsters, and both have a special sword. There's a couple more connections and themes but they'll be going into spoiler territory
Marvel is your favorite but DC is way way stronger.

Nope, Hulk has only fought Doomsday and Broly, while Superman has only fought Goku, twice.

I Honsetly knew zatanna was going to win
Not that I didn’t had faith in Wanda but the fact that zatanna is more experience and more level-headed than Wanda and has magic running through her veins ever since she was born
the fact she never is tempted to use dark magic due to her promise to her dad *cause she is daddy’s girl* thus never losing control or her sanity
So basically it was emotions vs beliefs.....in this case belief was stronger.... emotions can still get mucked as always by other fighters who lost cause emotions limit true potential

even though this fight is categorically wrong.. messy and unethical and ERRONEOUSLY inaccurate. it was fine. however wanda.. is indestructible.. to zatannas entirety.. like it’s so bias. And the fact zatanna said “no more witches” shows the pettiness and how bias this was made… it was also made by a fan so…
