A fun fact not many people seem to realize: Sun Wukong is actually *not* the main character. Only serving that role for the first few chapters. He actually spends most of the story *saving* the main character.

@@Ghostguy693 Tang Sanzang the monk that Sun Wukong travels with. However Tang Sanzang gets kidnapped *a lot* so Sun Wukong or his companions such as a water demon, a pig demon, or a shapeshifting dragon commonly used as Tang Sanzang‘s horse has to rescue him, most of the time by Sun Wukong.
He might not be the main character, but his story, powers, and antics easily make him the favorite for a lot of people. Also good inspiration for a lot of Japanese heroes apparently.

@@calebgoodman3028 Well, Wukong is the main character to me; I don’t think the Tang Monk would be that interesting of a character if Wukong wasn’t rescued and given a chance to redeem himself. I say people view Wukong as the main character, because he has the most focus; kinda like how Dr. Slump has Senbei Norimaki (the title character) being a main character, but his android child, Arale Norimaki, is the real main character because she is used more.

This is one of three things that can completely stop Wukong in his tracks.

Do you know what's scary? The art of 72 transformations wukong can do doesn't give him 72 transformations, it gives him the ability of BOUNDLESS transformation. He can turn into ANYTHING except anything omnipotent, this includes a version of himself as powerful as any opponent he is fighting, yea... Sun wukong is broken. And the 72 things? The 72 represents the number of extra lives the ability gives. On top of all his layers of immortality, you have to somehow kill the monkey 72 times before he croaks. And he can multiply with each clone also being able to transform the same way.
TLDR: sun wukong is the embodiment of a BROKEN character.
True, don't forget he can't transform to anything, and I mean anything known as omniscient, omnipotent being, like the Buddha for example.

'A version of himself as powerful as any opponent' is blatant bullshit that never appears in the story. He's OP enough without you making stuff up.
If you’re interested in learning more on mythology, I recommend Overly Sarcastic Productions’ videos. They’re little animated/illustrated versions of different myths from Greece, Rome, China, Japan, Norse, and even one or two from North America.
Would be fun to see her reaction to the story of "Journey to the West." Still ongoing due to how long it is, but it is fun to watch the narroration alongside with the drawings done for it.

Got to love how they left out all of the incest in Heracles’s story.
Zeus is the great grandfather to his mom.
His most popular gay lover is his nephew who was the one that suggested cauterizing the Hydra. (Heracles was bi.)
And his fourth wife is his sister and also the daughter to his archenemy Hera.
Also the king he worked for was his cousin. Not incest but just goes to show how much family drama he goes through.
They have to keep it relatively safe.

A narration for a legendary battle of mythical beings seems fitting.
My money is on Monkey. He basically has cartoon physics and cant die. Plus he's fxxxing awesome. I killed Hercules in God of War 3 and he went out like a bxxxx

This was a good video It was interesting to see two Mythical Figures fighting instead of Fictional characters and as for the next Battle while Boba Fett Is a Bounty Hunter The predators are Game Hunters who Kill for Sport and Trophy while Boba does it for Money so it’s actually the battle of Space Hunters.

@@FreelancerAmber Here’s some interesting info: Wukong was not allowed to harm humans during his pilgrimage with the Tang Monk, because it was considered wrong. However, since Hercules apppeared human, but technically isn’t human (being the bastard child of a womanizing deity), Wukong wouldn’t have an issue with attacking Hercules.

To be fair, the Predators aren't simple bounty hunters.
But Boba Fett had more experience due to fighting Clones, Jedi, Sith, Bounty Hunters, Smugglers, Disney retcons, and even Samuel L. Jackson.
A neat take on Death Battle, since actual myths and legends are kind of unconfirmable and exaggerated because... you know... myths with origins thousands of years ago. Feats back then were based on beliefs back then, so Hercules 'shooting the sun' wasn't a distance as modern astronomy knows it, but as they 'understood' it then. It would still be fast AF, but not to the 90x faster then light. But that bit of bias is kind of expected with DB in applying factor X outside of the scenarios. Still a fun match with the next being the man (or sentient) hunters.
It was certainly cool, though I do wonder of what the Greeks believed to be the true distance their world and the sun.

Sun Wukong is that OP character you tried to ban at tournaments. But, somehow gets back in the game.
Ironic the Saiyans are not based off the Monkey King. They also get stronger by always learning and training new abilities or techniques to overcome obstacles through every battle or situations.
Technically they are base since goku was imspired by sunwukong in dragon ball goku fly in a cloud his main weapond is a staff that change size and he is more of a trickster fighter than pure stregth and since he was the base for the saiyans well they are at least some relate

Wukong didn't pull the staff out of his ear, he pulled it from BEHIND his ear. he usually carried it there, shrunk to the size of a needle, when he didn't need it.
I mean... considering Goku is based on and even has the *same name* as Sun Wukong’s Japanese name it should be obvious Wukong would win, or if not at least a tie.

Hercules & Sun Wukong are fictional characters like Batman, Goku, Steven Universe & Ruby Rose nothing new from what Death Battle usually does. They all need research and knowledge of the character’s lore
mythology vs pop culture though. the difference being mythology either was or at least is meant to be taken seriously, where as pop culture is meant to be taken as fiction
