No the problem is that marvel spreads out their characters getting god like powers or feats whereas DC does it often and they also aren't up to date with a lot of characters either. Currently wanda is more powerful than she's ever been and is the most sane she's ever been and would beat z in a close fight but z is my fave DC sorceress so I'm not mad at it.

In the crossover with DC and Marvel when Scarlet Witch arrived in the DC universe she was so overwhelmed by the magic in that universe it caused her to almost go haywire and possible create a Big Bang. She had no control over it and it shows that DC’s magic is stronger

I know some characters that have struggled with lesser powers.
For example, Goku has no issues with Super Saiyan God, but can’t handle SSJ3 well, even though SSJ3 is far inferior.

DC is at it's best when it doesn't stay grounded. These characters aren't meant to really have limits, Superman being the prime example of this. They take imagination and belief and make them a power, reflecting our own world. Everything humanity has is because someone dreamed of it, imagined it in their head and made it happen. Our cultures and history are shaped by beliefs. The fact that we know so much about the vast universe we live in is a lot more amazing than people realize. DC just decides to turn this all up to 100 and puts no limits on imagination and creativity. Stay mad y'all 🤣

I'll be honest I knew Wanda was going to lose due to 2 factors that they explain in the vid
1. Wanda's consistent lack of Mental Stability being overwhelmed is a major problem compared to Zatanna having a consistent history of having a cool head during stressful situations. Her House of M incident might be a powerful example of her abilities but its also a prime example of her being unable to control her powers in way that wouldnt damage her allies.
By Marvel Standards Zatanna would've been made Sorcerer Supreme way before Wanda Maximoff ever would due to her Mental Stability being league's above Wandas.
2. Zatanna has greater training and a much longer history and range of experience as both a Solo hero and as a Member of the Justice League and JL Dark.
Tbh I've always considered her another Female Member whose powers would automatically make her a candidate for League Membership next to Wonder Woman and Hawkgirl.
But did you know that wanda is more powerful now,she can cause multiversal threat now actually and better than house of m or chaos wave,she absorbs chthons power and tied her soul with the the darkhold which is indestructible and she's immortal and if you have read JLA/avengers, when avengers pops up in DC,scarlet witch chaos magic became more powerful and what could be more now that she's an elder god and popping up in DC which makes her even more powerful and dangerous,she could be powerful like the chaos lords.
u read wanda’s recent comics she’s completely stable and even powerful enough to swallow a god who said he can destroy a universe with a blink of an eye aka the god of chaos chthon

The double standard about marvel and dc power scaling is pretty fucking frustrating. Here you have two characters who have nearly the exact same feats and abilities, they’re practically the same character, but these two have done nothing but bitch and moan this entire video about “ugh DC is just so ridiculous.”
The only reason why people think DC characters are so absurdly broken is because they actually take the time to SHOW you their power through the story, marvel takes the lazy rout and just goes “why is this character so strong? Well they can just warp reality to whatever they want.”

Common misunderstanding. Magic isn’t a weakness. Magic is capable of harming supes, he’s vulnerable to it. But kyrptonite his weakness usually takes his powers away or flat out kills him.Shiv can potentially kill him but it has to be like Shazam level magic.
The thing with DC and Marvel, Marvel’s characters are generally meant to be relatable. Showing heroes dealing with more normal problems and feelings. DC’s heroes are generally meant to be more inspirational. The idea that no matter the odds, or how hopeless things feel, the darkness can be overcome.
There’s nothing wrong with either philosophy, but one inevitably needs to overcome greater threats.

DC characters are simply better written, stronger and usually smarter than their marvel counterparts.
Looking at some of Zatanna's feats. Also she technically doesn't need to speak backwards to use magic, she's used magic without speaking multiple times, but back to her feats. Like when she defeated Zorr, a time tailor who could control reality and fought the spectre. Their fight was bizzare, with them growing bigger than planets and throwing each other through realities and messing with time. Or when she and other magic users powered up the spectre to match the anti monitor after he had destroyed the multiverse and was becoming an aspect of the presence. Or the when she made up 1/3 the power necessary to freeze time throughout the multiverse. Or when she held off Pralaya, the feminine side of the great evil beast and non existence itself, after Pralaya had destroyed all of creation. And that was from a mental projection of her and constantine she made after she had been erased from existence. It was stated by nightmare nurse that her magical potential was so great that she rarely uses even a fraction of her full power to preserve her normality. She's been stated to be one of the most powerful sorcerers in all dimensions and even the quintessance, a group of 5 cosmic beings that oversee the multiverse, count her as a powerful future ally. Zatanna doesn't often get big flashy displays of power but this is mostly because, as stated by her, when you deal with magic it can be hard to maintain your sense of normality. This is why she holds back a lot of her power. But the very fact that she was able to overcome the upside down man, while in his own magical dimension, is incredibly impressive. The upside down man is the shadow of Hecate, the first being of magic to form from the godsphere during the beginning of everything. Hecate was the most powerful of the gods, they all feared her power. When she looked upon the upside down man she created a barrier between the positive multiverse and trapped him in the dark multiverse. Hecate and the upside down man are practically magic itself and Dr Fate mentioned that the upside down man's magic was potent because it drew directly from the source, aka God basically. This is definitely an outervsal feat, one of a few she's done. When she had chaos magic she actually ripped apart of the comic book panel and destroyed it. This was technically an amp since she was given it by mordru. Plus there are feats they have said that I haven't included in this.
This is perhaps the Death Battle with the biggest destruction, multiple universes were destroyed like nothing. Zatanna looks cute and awesome though while juggling universes.
Zatanna did once curse Superman to lose his powers for a year, and it was because of that, Superman had to learn how to fight by both Batman and Wonder Woman.
In Marvel, it’s possible to have family that is or isn’t mutant.
A lot of mutants have regular humans as parents.
The thing is Wanda is way stronger, it's just Z knows how to trick someone to her advantage

Scarlet Witch and QuickSilver should’ve remained as mutants,because they were more interesting in that regard.Now the demon possessing the vessel of Wanda makes sense with Wanda original powers being Probability Manipulation and PsychoKinesis with the first mutation coming as a byproduct of the genetic tampering of the High Evolutionary and her PsychoKinesis being the result of her mutation.Her magic properties would be taught by Agatha Harkness who would teach her how to use magic to boost her abilities.
Regarding to the phoenix force, with the help of hope summers (a host of the phoenix) she was able to banish phoenix. She can't kill it. And she went up against cyclops with phoenix, not jean with phoenix. Also chaos magic has no affect on a full phoenix only when it's separated into multiple hosts like the phoenix five. She also doesn't hurt phoenix but rather its host. She's never gone against Jean with the phoenix or as white phoenix of the crown.

As well the glimpses we see Jean as WPOTC, she was barely getting experience and training and we already saw her hold the universe in her palm and rewrite it. Imagined an experience and exploring her potential. As well the phoenix IS creation and destruction. Life and death. The alpha and omega. Chaos is not its opposite because phoenix is already it’s own opposite. Chaos magic is not more powerful. 1. Chaos magic has no effect in white hot room. 2. Phoenix with Hope summers is the one that undid Wanda’s no more mutants. So far has been Wanda’s greatest feat.

As well chaos magic has no effect on a full phoenix. As well it’s never been able to hurt the phoenix, only it’s hosts. I’m not gonna go to discord to debate lol. @iHexedYou I have nothing that says it reached the white hot room. Can you reference the comic or a link? As well remainder her no more mutants was not 100% effective due to dr strange and Emma frost. Jean surpasses Emma as a telepathic. So phoenix and the white hot room wouldn’t have issue blocking such an attack.
Actually Wanda's powers do harm the Phoenix force, never stated host, as stated in the Marvel official handbook

I think Wanda (the scarlet witch) could’ve won against zatanna. But like Agatha said “power isn’t your problem, it’s knowledge” so if wanda would’ve known that zatanna could still use magic without sound she probably would’ve used a more effective spell instead of “no more sound”. But this was a really great battle, I would’ve been happy with whoever won. Both of my fav girls ❤️

Remember this. DC's Heroes and Villains = Gods walking as men and women. Marvel = Men and women walking as Gods. There is a difference! Only when you get to their cosmic characters do we get more balance between the two. But for most of the fights, not all of course ( Batman can't touch Black Panther lol), Marvel is getting wrecked!

The fact that they made wanda a raging narcissist is mind blowing to me and completely out of character. Wanda has much control, skill, and experience in magic as Z. Scarlet Witch (2015), Avengers: No Road Home (2018), Darkhold: Alpha/Omega (2021), and Trial of Magneto (2021) flexes her magical/mental growth heavy.
The more she taps into her powers the more chaos you know chaos is it not stability it instability meaning yes mental instability and also Zattana is just a Green lantern ring made in flesh no Seriously as long as she believes she probably wins
@@nothingherezero7182 chaos isn't stable for anyone but scarlet. There are numerous feats of her using chaos like a toy to accomplish things. For example when the inbetweener split she was able to control the chaotic part of him and merged it with order or when she was able to redirect an attack by controlling the chaos within it. The training she's had using chaos magic is so extensive that she embodies it without losing control.

Correction: The Phoenix force hardly shows it's true power. It is the sum of all life that was, is, and will be. The phoenix force that she banished was a VERY small amount of PF yet it took the combined force of Hope and Wanda to drive out a spark. The phoenix force existed at the same time of the first fimament or upon the first firmament's splintering caused by the very first celestials. Upon it's shattering, it created the first multiverse. The multiverse that we know now in is the 8th reincarnation. The phoenix force dispeled Wanda's no more mutants spell via Hope; hence the mutant population lighting up in cerebro. Wanda is indeed a very powerful mutant. The phoenix force at it's full power or perfect unison with Jean Grey has managed to hold the entirety of Marvel 616 in the palm of her hand and rewrote history AND in that, she has managed to hold a fraction of Eternity (Eternity's essence is splintered through out all the multiverse as there is only one Eternity in all marvelverse). Think of Wanda as multiversal and the Phoenix force omniversal. Omniverse is like a bucket that contains the ping pongs that represent other verses of marvel.

Other than being nexus being for all magic you could say scarlet which is a human mutate like Spiderman which are humans who have had there genes altered but are not technically mutants because there change and power don’t come from a naturally activated X gene. Wanda and Pietro were written as mutants and Magneto’s children originally but after a retcon that was changed and they are not mutants or related to Magneto anymore though Magneto still sees them as his children even if not blood related.

And also DC aren't the only ones who just come out with different powers from generations to generations, Marvel does the exact same thing as well, but at the same time in the old comic DC wasn't trying to improve all there characters powers, it's more like they're giving them more powers that are less...OP if that makes sense.

Not really. Overall dc is usually displayed to be more high tech and advanced. For example the crossover (which is technically canon) superman comments on its smaller size and less technological advances.

Honestly I liked this battle but some of their arguments for Wanda losing felt so bad, mainly because they seem to only have shown Wanda´s oldest and most popular feats instead of new ones like holding back the House of Ideas, not only that but the argument that Wanda wouldn´t win because of her mental issues when it´s been made clear that Wanda is no longer like that.
I do agree with you but even so both would be hard to determine on who would win. Both are strong, zatanna got erased from all reality and brought herself back and there is if there is magic then she will still live. There is also with magic in dc as long as she believes she can do it she can so zatanna has endless possibilities plus the fact she can take away people's powers. For Wanda it's exactly what you said. I think a fight between these two would be more a tie then anything. Both sides could just wipe the other out from the beginning if they want to and bring themselves back. How do you defeat two beings that you legit can't kill or keep dead.

For example if someone is immortal and they can just change it to where they aren't. Wanda should have won something doesn’t feel right
This was about power not who can outsmart the other person this one was wrong. Like they didn’t even Mission the fact that Wanda have her own after life and she can just come back if she die.
It actually is mentioned in the post analysis that Wanda has shown or stated to be able to resurrect herself, just that the method is vague and not specific and that Zatanna's ability to erase powers and existence could likely counter it.
They're argument is that they both can basically do whatever they want with their magic. Yes, Wanda has shown more of her upper limits and according to some comments, Zatanna's Praya feat or whatever may not be entirely accurate, but they're both high end reality warpers at the end of the day. Again, from what I understand stuff like the Praya feat wasn't entirely accurate and I get that. I'm not an expert on comics either so I don't really know just how powerful Zatanna is. However from what little I do know from the comics and what I've seen in the cartoons, I'm pretty sure Zatanna is in fact, a high end reality warper that ranks as one of the most powerful magic users in DC (not most powerful, I'm pretty sure Dr. Fate is more powerful ) and thus, can probably basically do whatever the Hell she wants with her magic. That doesn't mean that she still can't lose, just like Wanda, but there's definitely a reason why they decided to match up Wanda and Zatanna instead of having either of them face some other magic user. If I recall, they originally considered pairing either Zatanna or Wanda against Twilight Sparkle before realizing that that'd be an absurd curb stomp and thus, a terrible idea.

They didn’t. They literally said both Zatanna and Wanda are both Omniversal level beings. It’s just Zatanna has gone up and beat beings that scale above Chthon or anyone else Wanda has faced. If she never beat Pralya or Zor. Wanda probably would’ve won.

What would that do? She doesn't need to speak to use her magic or cast a spell and in the crossover Wanda already stated dc universe magic is too strong for her to control
@@moedavis1944 Current Wanda is much more skilled than her 1990's version. Zatanna does need to speak in order for her spells to be casted.
The cherry on top was in the crossover itself also when Wanda shielded her team from Zatanna's detection. Wanda wins this.
