What trigger set up do you have in the second pistol you showed, the one with very little take up and short reset. That's what i am looking for. Thank you
Bill J that is a combination of the Sig Armorer competition level action job and the Keres pro adjustable trigger. There is a new trigger out there will do this better Armory Craft dual adjustable trigger. It also lowers pull weight by 30%.
Sig Guy do you still recommend that action job in addition to the Armory Craft Dual Adjustable trigger or will said trigger achieve shorter take up and reset? I’m looking for the most crisp trigger I can find for my x five.
Mike Kostecki at 13:00 I am installing the over travel stop tube. The Gray Guns kit comes with the tube but not a spring. The spring is not included in the Gray Guns kit. Unnecessary.
Mike Kostecki the apex over travel stop tube is narrower than the GG tube. The apex spring just keeps it from flopping from side to side on the pin. Because the GG tube is the whole width of the pin no spring is needed.

Question: Have you tried the Competition Kit with the standard trigger reinstalled? That is, Keep all the rest of the modifications of the competition kit while reinstalling the original trigger. I was just curious. I have found that I am not the biggest fan of the flat face and was looking at the original trigger wondering if there would be anything unsafe about using it now that the rest of the kit has been installed. Thoughts?
SSG - would you take the GG kit over Apex? I’ve seen a few of your videos and was ready to get the Apex kit. Also see on the forums that the comp GG kit can provide an adjustable setting for trigger pull. Would you ever use that for range/carry?
I don’t like GG products. First choice currently would be AC trigger then Apex kit. This video was made before AC trigger was developed. The adjustment for the GG trigger is for the over travel only. Other than that the trigger is similar to stock. The ac trigger has adjustment for pretravel, overtrevel and also reduces pull weight by 30%.
Thanks SSG - another question based on what I saw today: are you familiar with Keres Dynamics trigger for pre- and post-travel? This looks like something that could only be used in competition. I’m all for limiting travel, but I’m not too sure I’d like to have something with adjustments that tight. Your opinion is appreciated!
bob holloway I used the Keres for quite some time. It’s made from a softer aluminum though. Didn’t hold up very well. AC has the same adjustability, is made from solid steel AND reduces pull weight. Keres doesn’t reduce pull weight.
The competition level action job from the Sig Armorer? That’s a sweet feeling trigger. Armory Craft is coming out with a dual adjustable trigger. THAT one is pretty sick also.
This video is extremely old and there are far better options now available. My favorite combination is the AC dual adjustable trigger used with The Sig Armorer C.O.R.E. kit. Amazing.
@@nolatone it’s not that incredible. This kit by the Sig Armorer blows the GG kit out of the water. Combine it with the AC dual adjustable trigger and you can’t get any better www.sigguy.com/product-page/the-sig-armorer-p320-competition-level-action-job-kit
So my grey guns trigger does not interface with the trigger bar the way yours did. this makes it impossible to use the trigger bar spring/trigger bar rotation re-install technique that you used in your video. Any ideas or suggestions on how to not absolutely destroy the trigger bar reset spring when re-assembling, with the trigger bar and trigger connected? or is there a trigger bar that is a better option for the newer grey guns adjustable trigger?
This video is old and other options have come available since. My favorite setup in use now in all my 320s is The Sig Armorer competition level action job AND the Armory Craft dual adjustable trigger. Amazing. As far as just a drop in option Armory Craft hands-down. I have their triggers in every single one of my Sig pistols now.
Benjamin Lineberry At that time I preferred the SIG Armorers competition level action job with the Keres Pro adjustable trigger. Armory Craft is coming out with their trigger here shortly which is dual adjustable and made of solid steel. With their skeletonize signature look. It should be right at the top!
Great video - thank you! I'm looking for a trigger upgrade for the X5 legion, and the GG system is disappointing in terms of creep and reset reduction. (I suspect reset strength also isn't any better than stock.) You mentioned the Sig Armorer's Comp Level action job with Keres Pro adjustable trigger was what's in the tan gun... that looked MUCH better. Is that still what you'd recommend, or better to wait for the Armory Craft dual adjustable system?
DVC Performance haha. You pay attention sir. Wait until tomorrow or the next day. MAYBE an announcement is gonna be made. 😉 You are correct. GG blows. Not even gonna sugar coat it. The new hybrid system is just as bad. The big new improvement on there is the added in over travel stop screw. With their original kit there was almost no over travel to begin with. So the trigger pre-travel is crazy long, creep his long and reset his long. Not my favorite. It is a light trigger but like I said wait until tomorrow or the next day. I spend the last 2 days getting data on something new. You’re gonna love it.
Keres. I would recommend Armory Craft instead. Made of steel instead of soft aluminum and it reduces pull weight by 30% In non legion 320s. I have them on my website here.... sigguy.com/shop-%2F-products/ols/products/sig-sauer-p320-dual-adjustable-flat-trigger
That was the Keres trigger. Didn’t last very long. Made from a softer material. Aluminum or something. This was pre Armory Craft. I recommend AC For the same trigger type pull plus it reused pull weight on non legion 320s. I sell several different triggers on my website. Sigguy.Com
Nah this video isnt it. Ive been trying to install this trigger for 3 hours. My trigger only will fit into the FCU a specific way and how youve set the trigger bar behind the sear the angle wont fit at alllllll. Ill wait until im finished for the edit smfgdh
There are some older trigger designs that require you to install the trigger and trigger bar together FIRST. Put the trigger bar into proper position at the sear end. THEN attach the trigger bar spring.

Hopefully last question - I can’t find anything called “AC”. Who’s the manufacturer? Thanks!
OK - I think I got it - Armory Craft.
Can the Keres Pro Adjust Trigger be used with the GrayGuns Competition Trigger System?
JayB059 no. The GG has a really long trigger pull. Neckar if that if you get rid of the take up and over travel the gun won’t fire and reset.
@@SigGuy OK, thanks for the info! Love your videos!
Do you know if the gray guns trigger kit work with the thumb safety that's on the m17/m18 models?
Not sure. I don’t use their products. It’s best to ask them directly. Thank you.
hey, whats that other trigger ? the one u like more.
The competition level action job from the Sig Armorer? That’s a sweet feeling trigger. Armory Craft is coming out with a dual adjustable trigger. THAT one is pretty sick also.
what trigger was the one at the end of the video that you liked better then the Gray Gun?
This video is extremely old and there are far better options now available. My favorite combination is the AC dual adjustable trigger used with The Sig Armorer C.O.R.E. kit. Amazing.
Awesome stippling! Who did it?
I believe grayguns aswell.
Have you installed one of these kits lately? Do they no longer include the over travel stop tube? I’m doing mine now and it does not include it.
I stopped using GG products a looooong time ago. Many better options available.
@@SigGuy this competition trigger is pretty incredible. What would you recommend instead of it currently (in terms of springs, etc.)?
@@nolatone it’s not that incredible. This kit by the Sig Armorer blows the GG kit out of the water. Combine it with the AC dual adjustable trigger and you can’t get any better
www.sigguy.com/product-page/the-sig-armorer-p320-competition-level-action-job-kit
@@SigGuy I’ll have to check that out.
So my grey guns trigger does not interface with the trigger bar the way yours did. this makes it impossible to use the trigger bar spring/trigger bar rotation re-install technique that you used in your video. Any ideas or suggestions on how to not absolutely destroy the trigger bar reset spring when re-assembling, with the trigger bar and trigger connected? or is there a trigger bar that is a better option for the newer grey guns adjustable trigger?
put it in place place without the spring and install spring after its lines up
Does gray guns install these if i didn't want to do it?
I’m sure they would. You would need to ask them.
What is the trigger in the other Sig that you preferred??
This video is old and other options have come available since. My favorite setup in use now in all my 320s is The Sig Armorer competition level action job AND the Armory Craft dual adjustable trigger. Amazing. As far as just a drop in option Armory Craft hands-down. I have their triggers in every single one of my Sig pistols now.
@@SigGuy In your opinion are they best suited for carry or range?
I would like to know what trigger that is in the tan/brown 320?
Apex.
Who made the trigger in the tan gun you said you prefer more?
Benjamin Lineberry At that time I preferred the SIG Armorers competition level action job with the Keres Pro adjustable trigger. Armory Craft is coming out with their trigger here shortly which is dual adjustable and made of solid steel. With their skeletonize signature look. It should be right at the top!
Is there a drop in kit that can replicate that shorter travel creep /reset trigger?
Stanley Suarez there will be soon. Armory Craft is coming out with their dual adjustable trigger.
Great video - thank you! I'm looking for a trigger upgrade for the X5 legion, and the GG system is disappointing in terms of creep and reset reduction. (I suspect reset strength also isn't any better than stock.)
You mentioned the Sig Armorer's Comp Level action job with Keres Pro adjustable trigger was what's in the tan gun... that looked MUCH better.
What trigger as the 21:19 trigger?
Keres. I would recommend Armory Craft instead. Made of steel instead of soft aluminum and it reduces pull weight by 30% In non legion 320s. I have them on my website here....
sigguy.com/shop-%2F-products/ols/products/sig-sauer-p320-dual-adjustable-flat-trigger
What’s installed in the FDE sig ??
That was the Keres trigger. Didn’t last very long. Made from a softer material. Aluminum or something. This was pre Armory Craft. I recommend AC For the same trigger type pull plus it reused pull weight on non legion 320s. I sell several different triggers on my website. Sigguy.Com
Does it work on the Cali M18?
Yes
What kind of sights are you using to co-witness with the Leupold Deltapoint? Thank you.
Ozzy G that’s a Romeo1 and I use Dawson sights.
Why can no one figure out how to fix the atrocious creep of these p320 triggers…
Is there somewhere that I can send my P320 to for the upgrade?
Paul Rampon which upgrade are you referring to? The voluntary upgrade or just the trigger upgrade?
The trigger upgrade. I believe my 320 has the upgrade. Is there a way of visually checking for that? Thank you for the prompt response.
Do you have the website for the kit
Google.com
Little bit slower pace would be better
Id take the Apex over this , for me anyway
Everyday and twice on Sunday. 👍🏼
THEN attach the trigger bar spring.
this is impossible
What is impossible?
What trigger setup did you have in your last gun on the Video is that achievable with the p320 Max
