Island Oasis my first time to mate.. just learn as you go, great place to start would be Cali greens RUclips or mr Canuck grows.. I’ve learnt a lot from them 2 alone.. 💪🏻
Awesome review bro..... I've been looking at every LED company and I've decided to go with Mars Hydro. I'm buying 2 of these lights next week 💪💪 again good review growmie 👊👊😎✌️
Am thinking of getting two of these to cover a 4x8 area , which is half of my 8x8 tent , I already got two new SF 4000 spider farmers in each corner on one half of the tent , I got 3X new kingbo 900w leds in parallel running on the other half of the tent but now I want to upgrade after watching this , But Will this light fit a 4x4 space ?. Or will two of them fit in a 4X8 space In my case ? Or is it an over kill ? And I should just get an other two SF 4000’s ? To go with the two I already got ? The kingbo 900W burple leds got to go after buying and testing these newer quantum boards lol , any advise ?. Cheers
I was really close to getting an SF4000! Glad to hear you are having success with them. The FC6500 should work great in your situation I would think. This is my first indoor grow so keep that in mind haha. These will almost go wall to wall in a 4x4. I would not think it would be overkill at all and with the dimmer you can get them just right anyway. An 8x8 with all that light sounds pretty great! If I were you I would put them head to head with the SF 4000's and let us all know how it works out?! Short answer, yes these will fit a 4x4 space and I think they would be great! Cheers!
Of course they sneak that in...saturn is symbolic for lucifer. Thats why so many corporations use it. Nikes logo for example is a saturn ring...newport cigarettes is the same logo inverted. There are MANY others. Its one of their favorites for a reason...not a coincidence.
I got a new job and had to out my grow on hold. I hope to get back onto this in a month or so. Super disappointed I had to put this project on the back burner.
I know the struggle. If you have it narrowed down to two you are doing good. I can't really tell you much more about the fc6500 at this time. Planning to sprout some seeds with it and will post a video shortly after. I am happy with my purchase, let us know which way you go. Cheers!
@@islandoasis6159 check on Amazon its a replica of the growers choice ROI. Another open that's bad ass is the Sonlipo SPL 3000. Itl has Samsung chips LGUV chips a full spectrum built in timer with a plug in to plug over lights fans whatever you want and the it will flower a 6×6 and flowe a 5×5. With uniform PPFD everywher. And independent bloom and veg channels that can be dimmed. 269$ for SPL 20000 and 369$ for the SPL 3000. Its hefty light built like tank. Not flimsy aluminum
Well I checked them both out. Look like fine lights for that price range. They each draw about half the power of the Mars hydro fc6500. So if you bought two you would be putting out roughly the same wattage. Both had quality diodes like the fc6500. I think the biggest difference IMO is the diode count. Both lights you mentioned had a diode count of about 1000. The Mars hydro has 3144 diodes. This means the Mars hydro has almost 40% more diodes running over the same wattage. So the diodes on the Mars hydro are running on less wattage per diode. This makes the diodes run cooler and more efficiently. They are "under driven". This in turn gives them a much longer lifespan as well. This is basically why I chose to start with the Mars Hydr∅ FC6500. Time will tell!
@@islandoasis6159 that may true but I was meaning to compare the SPL3000 to the fc3500 or even 4500 ..i just know a guy who simply bent the crap outta his mars by adjusting the ratchet straps. Its a really flimsy light. And 1 row if lights isn't workings. So just be careful with it. They said they'd send out replacement parts but nothing they can do about how bad it bows and is bent. Id use 6 ratchet straps instead of the 4.
Thanks for the heads up, I will definitely try not to bend or warp the light. I have carried the light around a bit and installed it in a tent by myself with no problems. I am currently using only two straps. I am thinking of using four straps just so I can get the light up a bit higher in the tent if need be. Mars Hydro only includes two straps. They must feel that is sufficient and that has been working for me. maybe your friend tried to put the ratchet straps directly into the tabs where the hanging wire is supposed to connect.I can see where that would bend the frame up as they're not designed to be attached that way. I personally think the slim and sleek design is quite sexy!
The plastic screws are likely to prevent damage to the aluminium frame/light heatsink, steel screws would chew up aluminium.
Good to see so many people getting growing!.. good luck brother!.. all the best from the UK!💚🇬🇧👀💪🏻
Hey I appreciate that. First time, I'm nervous haha. No matter what happens hopefully somebody will learn something.
Cheers!

2 of the 4800 is plenty for a 4 by 8
Is that spec a cooler white & i would use il like that 90degree angle 😂😂😂 side lighting 🤔
Incase your dimmer goes out so you can still use your light
does Mars have a ring around it cuz I'm pretty sure that's Saturn depicted lol

Hows it working? Looking at getting one for my 5x5

Yes it will.

I’m still debating between this FC 6500 or HLG 650R 😩

honestly i would go with hlg 650r im running 2 in a 4x8 grow tent and they are amazing
Check out the hlg scorpion r spec
I got the 4800 it’s better par than the 650r
I would like a Mars fc3000 but wish they have a sale one day for all the crap they sold at first
Maybe try contacting them, you never know. They may do something for you.
This is my first one so I have nothing to compare with.
Cheers!
So true
Had to get it right ps5 🤷🏿♂️
Its to put the driver outside the tent.
Was that plastic suspec.. lol
Looks like something off Alibaba
Sideking will probably smoke this.
And way cheaper.
Not familiar with sideking. You may be right. Going to use this for now and see how it does.
Cheers!
