- Very funny beginning portion of the STAR TREK TNG Cast Q&A at the Star trek Fan Days in Plano, TX (10/24/10). These guys are so AWESOME!!! I am aware that some of it is missing, I only intended to record some of it, and posting the rest was an afterthought, so this collection of videos is all the footage that I have.
I love how they're essentially poking fun of the fandom in a tongue-in-cheek way. They know full well the comings and goings in their trekkie fanbases lol.
Jonathan: What was the difference between doing the TV show and making the movies?
Brent: There really was no difference, sir. Fewer people watched it, I guess.
I bust a gut every time I see Jonathan's nod of agreement to that answer.
See there's not that many TV casts around that can still get together like this and actually have fun while being themselves without 'playing to the camera.'
You just know Frakes asked his nemesis question wanting them say Frakes should have been the Director.
I had no idea Frakes was so funny LOL

In my head canon, Frakes crashing panels to shout at his former castmates is just a regular Thursday, and they’ve all come to expect it. In any city, at any time.

I love that the cast makes the most of cons and don’t take themselves too seriously. I’m sure the audience really enjoyed this

It started in 87 and ended in 94. It's really considered to be more of a 90s show, as was the Golden Age of Trek.
This is my favorite panel ever.
It's endured so long because we love it. You don't get tired of things and people you love this much.
you know nemesis, at the end when data dies to save picard, why didn't picard just take the mini transporter that was in datas arm, then transport to the other ship and as he is about to shoot the core put it on and activate it. then they could have all lived, they could have made it like the A team, 1 million shots fired and nobody dies. would have been so much better.
Glad that Brent still has his emotion chip installed...lol
These guys are awesome! I love watching them on TNG, and when they joke like this.
They were totally taking the mick, but they were also teasing themselves and I found it fairly entertaining :)

It endures because a portion of society is more than ready to advance it's just to bad we are living under a dystopia which utilizes our ideas for harming/creating futility/rigging the environment as it where instead of helping us truly advance as a species.
