      That’s what was bugging me too. I was wondering what here poison was (No pun intended lol) she must have had some kind of chemical addiction of some sort to push her to such extreme evil. Maybe it was just shopping 🛍 woman are suckers for it (some men too) my e she got herself an opium habit or alcohol 🍹. Killing your own children though, come on.

      @Q I'm not sure that's true, although "budgeting" isn't the word I'd necessarily use when it comes to managing wealth. But having a sense of how far your money will actually go- its value, and how to maximize this- would be key. Lottery winners who aren't financially literate and don't visit financial planners or make wise investments but opt instead to buy mansions and luxury vehicles for all their family members usually end up broke.

    Great series. You totally avoid some of the greatest irritants some other presenters are guilty of: (1) The computer voice, (2) random pictures of everyday objects only vaguely related to the story, (3) inappropriate music and (4)bad writing and/or editing. However did you avoid all four of these? I am impressed. Good job! 👍

      I was a very young mother. I had four children by the time I was 26 years old and I learned a valuable lesson that I pass on to people. The only thing a child really wants in life is to know that their parents love them and that only comes by spending time having fun with them. All the store bought things don’t matter if you don’t say, “I love you at the end of every day!”

    • @ingriddubbel8468
      @ingriddubbel8468 5 лет назад +6

      If you had little resources why were you irresponsible enough to have four children. Its fiscally stupid and just cruel to have a child born in guaranteed poverty.

    • @wowfortrump296
      @wowfortrump296 5 лет назад +10

      Ingrid Dubbel You must be very young and single. I started having children at 19 and it was because my first husband threatened to kill me if I did not marry him and beat me up every day for two and half years before I finally got help to get away from him. And the only children who are born to parents to “Guaranteed Poverty” are from parents who were never told go succeed in life. And that you can have do and be anything you want in life. As far as the past, because birth control was illegal in many countries until 1947 and it was seen as a gift from God to bring children to the earth. Yes statistically you are right most young teenage moms and their children do not fare very well these days. However because I had a very good education my children were not raised in poverty and now three of them own their own business and one makes a lot of money being an underwater welder.

      Brief Case thanks. You have a good tone to your voice, and don’t fake suspense or imply that only you know the answers. Actually the narration is great, sharing your research etc. Also, Unlike many of the American True crime vids, you don’t waffle and repeat so that ten minutes of comments stretch into an hour.
      It is just that you speak quite slowly with noticeable pauses as you read. I do notice that after a while, your delivery does speed up, maybe as you concentrate and share your enthusiasm.

    Thallium poisoning is a miserable death. A man in our neighborhood poisoned his next door neighbors with it because the teen sons annoyed him, and he had such a high IQ he thought he could get away with it. The mom died and one of the boys had to go through extensive therapy to learn how to walk again. The man (George Trepal) was eventually caught, after an undercover investigation. He’s on death row now, but it’s been about 30 years so I think natural death is going to take him first. It’s crazy to think this happened so close to home, I even went to school with the boy that almost died. Everyone cheered wildly for him when he graduated on time.

    Sweeeeet! Thank you again Brief Case. These are almost always cases that I've never heard of, and that makes what you do very unique and awesome. See you next Monday!!!

      Hello, Im sure soon you would have heard of some, I dont like to do the really well known ones though. On Monday Im going to do a Canadian case that has been requested 6 times so maybe that is better known :)

    How alarming is it that, as soon as I heard "eyesight failing, hair falling out" I immediately though "Ah, yes, thallium"? Maybe I should stop reading, watching and listening to so many crime shows!

    She got a taste of the good life and couldn't handle it , so she grieved for more and more until it got best of her greed. SICK SAD WOMAN.THANK YOU

    This was interesting. Thallium however is an element, not a compound. Thanks. 🌱

      Thallium can only enter the body in a compound, i.e. a salt. They described it a bit wrong.
      I wonder how the boy was supposedly saved after he had received the thallium. Even modern medicine can do little once it has been distributed into all tissues.

    Omg she was cold blooded. Wonder how much money she actually went through?? The young husband either really loved his wife or really loved having money to chop off his own leg!!! I love being financially safe too but in no way cutting my leg off for anyone or anything!!! How cold to watch someone die from your hand too.
