He was going slowest possible and at a place where it was deepest/pit. Worst driver. Nothing wrong with car - obviously can't compare Thar(only looks and decent offroading which will be used 10% of time) with Hector (best in class comfort and performance, which will be useful 90%)
First of all, tyre plays the main role, MG doesn't offer all terrain tyres. Also MG have 215/55 tyres, in which no good brand offers all terrain tyres, only chinese cheap brand offers such tyres, which is never recommended as there's no guarantee of anything. ✌️
