Busy in the Garden- Planting a DA Bare Root Rose, Late Season Potatoes, and Potting Up Tomatoes!

It is a BUSY May day in the garden! It is finally time to plant out our newest addition to the garden, 'The Generous Gardener' by David Austen Roses! This is a 10-15ft climbing rose that is meant to add a beautiful statement piece to our backyard garden. As well, we are planting out one of our last potato plantings of the season, a late season variety called 'Kennebec.' These are meant to be the bulk of our storage potatoes for the year. AND moving our winter sown tomato plants into larger pots, for more space to grow and a refreshed growing medium before our big planting out into the raised beds.
