What bugs me is that any feeling of loss or dejection probably didn't last long. He's such a narcissist that it probably wasn't long until he resumed thinking that he will be exonerated and released from prison.

Yessss, I was thinking the same thing she deserves at least one week off I've never seen a judge get so disrespected so much throughout a trial.
She could have punished him many times, but she instead decided to suck it up and finish the trial as soon possible so Brooks doesn't get the satisfaction of delaying his inevitable prison sentence
For me, the contrast between Brooks' rude, nasty behavior and disrespect for the judge, and his behavior towards the jury during his "closing arguments" was very difficult to watch.
The fake 'sadness' about a baby he hasn't seen, and his self-pity play was disgusting.
I wonder if Madame Judge represented everything Brooks hates:
An intelligent, beautiful woman he will never charm or fool,
An authority figure he can't cheat,
A woman who isn't afraid of him,
and a person who understands the games he's trying to play & will not bend to his will, or stoop to his level.

The judge looks so happy and good for her. She's been through a complete nightmare of a trial with a defendant who has argued with her every step of the way. She beat a narcissist at his own game. Great work Judge Dorow, now take your well deserved vacation!
I know the judge must remain impartial…but I sincerely hope she felt a small amount of happiness as she read the verdicts…this tragedy should never have happened! He is a monster and deserves to suffer every single day that he remains alive.

Jury was given the case at 6:30 p.m. Dinner was ready for them. 8:30 jury opted to end for the day.
Came in the next morning, 8:30.
9:43 a.m. verdicts in and signed.
When the judge read the guilty verdicts, i was overjoyed for the victims.
I wish while she was reading it ...that he would have looked up and seen me smiling grinning... Grabbing him by the wrist and swinging him around against the wall in celebration would have been fun too.

Poor Judge, all those verdicts to read out. But it's the best part of the trial. She's been absolutely amazing throughout the whole trial. I am in awe.
If she's at all like myself, she found extreme satisfaction reading them, one by one, watching him silently sit through every second.
This was great actually. For all the times he ran his mouth deliberately milking time off the clock, the judge returns the favor by reading all 76 - 77 counts of GUILTY.
And he actually sat in silence for once.

I would like to request for the state to give this Judge an immediate pay raise and three week paid vacation for the unparalleled patience and professionalism throughout this trial to ensure all of his actions were addressed and dealt with properly and lawfully to avoid any chance of a mistrial. He tried everything he could possibly think of to paint himself as the victim and has not given a fair trial, but her patience in making sure every single thing he tried to pull was handled properly was unreal. The disrespect to her and the entire courtroom was insane and she never lost control.
She definitely deserves it. She was far more patient and professional than any other judge Ive seen in a trial where a defendant conducted themselves in this way!

@@michaelwilliams9216 He was found fit to stand trial and the only times she overlooked his incessant objections to absolute everything were when he objected to rulings that she had already (& often times, repeatedly) expounded on with respect to the law & legal procedure, case law utilized to make certain rulings, *etc.
While I don't doubt that he will attempt to appeal on some of these grounds, the judge did a spectacular job of ensuring he was heard as well as making sure to clearly note why she made specific rulings.
His incompetence of the law shouldn't be reason for an appeal, but alas, you're probably right. 🤷🏻♀️
If so, it's a shame. It's a massive waste of resources & people's time, not to mention the unnecessary pain that will fall to the victims by his potentially trying to drag this out any longer!
My heart goes out to all the victims; those killed, maimed, injured, suffering mental anguish, and their families. Yes, I also feel terrible for Darrell Brooks. Make no mistake, I think he deserves everything that's coming to him as a result of his heinous and depraved actions. But I can't help but think that he was once a little boy with so much potential...and now this. Darrell Brooks carries the blame and punishment for these horrible crimes, and deservedly so, but in the broader sense this tragedy, and others like it, are carried by all of us.

Darrel ,Brooks has the lowest mentality I've ever seen. Completely unaware of anyones feelings but his own. He cried when he spoke of his losses and his children but not one tear for the lives he took. Malignant narcissist with a lot of nerve. What a piece of work. What must it have been like to have to raise him. I feel sorry for every human that's ever had the misfortune of having to deal with him for any reason. The worst humanity has to offer.
It is my sincerest hope that the victims of this senseless tragedy can now find closure and peace.
I wish there were a way to send this judge like a gift basket or something, so deserving of it after the nightmare she’s gone through.
Wait until after the disposition of the last appeal, to avoid creating a further ground of appeal by Brooks.
She’s been sent wine and all kinds of other things after the trial from my understanding. She has a packed schedule however after this trial as she stated when scheduling the sentencing for this case. She briefly spoke about why she scheduled it when she did because she has a packed schedule with cases until the holidays but I believe she said she has time off towards the end of December. She needs like a spa week in a sunny location and all the amenities she likes in my opinion. Her entire demeanor through this trial while dealing with this being should be studied in law schools for the future on how to conduct yourself when dealing with an impossible ignorant being. She beat him at his own game and gave him all the rope he requested for hanging him self. She protected the record clearly and thoroughly and there is not even a crack in this case record or trial for him to try to call for mistrial or to even have a relevant appeal that would grant him another trial. He also has a court case in Milwaukee coming up soon I hope the judge in Milwaukee was paying attention.

Thank you Prosecution, Jury, Court staff and most importantly the Judge, for all of your patience and hard work. This man will rot in prison for the rest of his natural life, and deservedly so, and the world is now safe from any further damage from this man.
All those things he's reading off before the jury enter the room sounds like something he google searched during a recess. What a waste of space.
I bet that judge felt so good as darrell finally just sat there and shut up and she is slowly telling him his life was over. I now will enjoy my coffee.

And what does the death penalty do??? Many years of appeals. Capital punishment states have higher percentages of crime. Kindly read something before you post...

The first trial I've witnessed where the focus was centered and directed by the defendant and the actual victims did not come into attention very often.
The victims impact statements from families and friends will be quite emotional and intense, they will need extra security staff.
