Episode 8 | Jon McGrath - Playing Bass for Alexandra Kay and Nerding Out on Gear

As a professional bass player based out of Nashville, TN, Jon is not only an amazing musician, but he is a great person to be around. He turned what is supposed to be a "10 year town" into a 10 month town. Jon quickly created a name for himself in the music city and was offered the gig to tour the world with the one and only Alexandra Kay, who has played with many legends such as Tim McGraw, Tracy Lawrence, and Clay Walker. In addition to playing with such legendary artists, the band is about to join Jelly Roll on his The Beautifully Broken Tour.
Jon also has his own solo album out named "Funky Bus" where he shows off just how fluid he is on the bass. You can find Jon shredding the bass in a mind blowing manner to some of his compositions on the Gnarly Whale RUclips channel and on Pitch Meeting Studio channel.
