Dominique demands the shootout be investigated as a possible act of war by the Dark Army, but is told the government will not upset China after they just gave the U.S. a $2 trillion loan. Joanna considers the phone's location to be a great gift from Tyrell. Phillip Price uses the bailout money to strengthen Ecoin, forcing the government to support him to keep pace with China and rebuilding the banking sector. Angela is taken to a house where an apparently tortured young girl gives her a psych evaluation. Her captor is Whiterose, who says Angela should have died months ago; she wants Angela to believe in Whiterose's cause and claims Angela's mother and Elliot's father died for a greater good. Upon returning to the city that night, Angela tells her lawyer never to call her again. Elliot uses a lucid dreaming technique to watch Mr. Robot decode a message in the apartment. As he follows him, Elliot then takes control on the way to a waiting cab. To his astonishment, Tyrell gets in. Despite accepting his destination, the cab driver doesn't directly acknowledge Tyrell's existence and kicks Elliot out for panicking. Tyrell says the Dark Army has Stage 2 ready and that Elliot will be pleased.

This is hard for those who have this kind of disorder too. When it gets worse, he can't even separate reality to fantasy/imagination. This show showed us how it is. Look how many people got hypothesis or theories that Tyrell is just another Elliot's personality.
That's why it's better to do what Tyrell did on here, so we avoid more headaches, and we free our healthcare systems from these rotten ones.

Its not a monologue, Mr Robot is real to him.

If I remember correctly a popular theory at the time was that Tyrell was another dissociative identity so this scene was a bait and switch on that.
Imagin not seeing Mr. Robot, and just Elliot talking to himself hahaha
Its all inner monologues inside his head mostly, so nobody around even knows.

Don't let the raw emotions and the questions posed by this scene distract you from the cheeky camerawork fuckery going on as Elliot and Mr. Robot argue.
What an incredible show! The music, the acting, the writing...everything about it was so well done, my vocabulary is too limited to do it justice!
To be so into yourself that you can't discern between inner monologue and reality, Elliot's brain is working real mad.
This is how I blame myself after disassociating from reality during critical events.

The mastermind, who was the most recent alternate personality and locked the real Elliot away inside his own consciousness for the purposes of taking control and dealing with elliot's increasing rage, desire for justice and vengeance, and loneliness.
So for the mastermind to say that he's finally taking back real control is ironic because he recently took real control away from the original Elliot.
I sense a "Fight Club" vive in this series

One of the reasons I think that made Elliot think that Tyrell is not real is because of the fact that he was actually holding the same gun that Mr.robot had when he shot him in season 2 episode 1.

The Fight Club movie like: you don't hold the gun, I hold. But Mr Robot go deeper, Its show about man who so tired about his DID that he start to think that all people around him doesn't exist... even realy real people... and when Elliot saw blood and realized that Tirel is real because he shoot him he almost glad to it, glad that he not as crazy as he thought.
