I love Citizen watches because they tend to give you a lot of bang for the bucks. This is the first green lume I’ve seen on one. All of mine have an ice-blue lume that is very distinctive. Also you can’t beat their solar powered drive system.
I wish Citizen had more options for those of us with smaller wrists. It seems like the big watch look is part of their design language so it keeps guys like me from buying them. A big company like this could offer 2 sizes for their most popular models. I own the 44mm f150 satellite and it would be my favorite if it came in 41mm.
I purchased this watch and started mentoring its time keeping abilities on December 10, 2022, and I am happy to report this watch gained three second a month January 11, 2023.
Send it back or in for service. I have the first edition of the Citizen eco drive titanium, and lost only one second a month. I just sent it in for service, gasket and a update caliber. All for 73 bucks.
Citizens QC and attention to detail always seems to be a step above (and I know I am going to get slaughtered for this)..... Seiko. Seiko is my favourite brand, but I am just saying facts
Hi Rob! That's a beautiful GMT. As far as Citizen lume goes, I have a BN-0151, and it does have blue lume. It's not as dazzling as Seiko's lumibrite when first charged, but after a few hours, it is just as bright and long lasting. I prefer it to the Seiko's green, as the blue is just so cool looking, sort of "deep", if that makes sense. To my eyes, it is just a bit lighter in colour than BGW-9.
I'm probably the only owner of this watch with a misaligned chapter ring (shifted slightly, but noticeably to left). I've come to expect such QC issues from that other brand, but Citizen? My little rant has nothing to do with your channel, but folks may want to check alignment. Thumbs up for your uploads.
I love wearing this watch it noticeably light compared to my stainless steel ones. I love the weight and dial design so much that I also purchased the red/white/black dial one with the rubber strap!
I love how the GMT markers are fixed on the chapter ring instead of sacrificing the useful dive bezel markers - a GMT done right. Is the date change paired to the gmt hand or hour hand?
Cool that it has a jumping hour hand, but you can’t move it backwards!? Advancing it forward will eventually change the date! How do you deal with this?
Does anyone know what the bezel insert material is? Is it titanium or stainless steel? Thanks in advance for any help. Looking to pull trigger on the all blue face version as on offer in a UK retailer at moment.
First the ProTrek, and now the Citizen GMT. Its hard to find under the radar all-Titanium watches, for cheap, when Rob keeps digging them all up and featuring them
Tend to lean towards Citizen more than Seiko for some reason I alot of the guy's an you are big fans of Seiko but I never got that loven feeling from Seiko think there design style an presentation is just alittle better on the Citizen.
Only thing is if you like automatic watches, Seiko has a larger selection of them, so you don't really have a choice. Citizen is more focused on their eco-drive quartz watches. I'm sure if there was really more direct competition between the two, more people would be citizen fans. Of the 4 citizen watches I have, the QC and build quality and the bracelets are all higher quality than Seiko watches of the same price but I still end up with more Seiko watches as I'm more into automatic watches. The Citizen I acquired when I first got into the hobby but now side from couple of g shocks recently, I mostly buy automatic watches.
Do you still have your mont-bell Citizen, or did you end up flipping it? I've been hoping for a follow-up video to see if it turned out to be a keeper or not.
I have two Citizen watches and love them. Beautiful build and performance. I really like this GMT. Kind of big but I have same wrist size as you do and it looks good on your wrist. Kind of hard to find this watch. I am considering it.
I love it. I am glad it doesn’t have the blue lume Citizens so often have. The green is much brighter to the human eye!👍. This one must have been made in limited numbers. I only find it for $400 and up. That’s much pricier than most of their divers. Too bad, I really dig the design.
I have over 50 watches in my collection. Probably 20 automatics. I went through a phase where I bought quite a few solar. It seemed to make sense to have a watch that didn't require a new battery every 3 or 4 years but also did not require setting the time before wearing. So I purchased one Seiko, one Casio, and about 6 Citizen solar watches. I made a habit of putting them in the window about once a month to keep them charged. Here I am about 10 years later. The Seiko and Casio solar watches work fine. None of the Citizen Eco drive solar work. In fact none of the citizen solar watches worked longer than about 3 years. So there was no advantage whatsoever to them over a standard quartz watch. Big disappointment! I won't be buying or recommending Citizen watches going forward
I really liked the Titanium and this bracelet on the BN0200. Had to sell it due to the similar huge lug to lug distance. I could wear it okay looks-wise, but it was far from optimal comfort-wise.
This is a very nice looking watch, thanks for reviewing and bringing to my attention. I wish it was an automatic or mechaquartz. Once I got my first sweeping seconds hand I can’t go back! I’ve skipped so many nice looking quartz watches over that aesthetic.
This is not a genuine GMT watch but just dual time watch. because the red hand does not indicate Greenwich Mean Time with rotating 24 hour bezel at all. True GMT watch should have rotating 24 hour bezel.
The GMT hand rotates the dial once every 24 hours. If you set the GMT hand to Greenwich Mean Time how does that not make this a GMT watch? At a glance the watch would show me GMT time, no?
@@efreutel Sorry, I'm not a native speaker, so there is a mistake in expression, I mean that this watch has no function of bezel rotation to check any local time(Greenwich Mean Time is one selection ).
Nice watch really but in the true Citizen style. They excellent to 80% but never go all the way. No lume on gmt indicator is just insane. No ceramic bezel. Pin and collar rather than screw pins in the bracelet. They just can't quite get there and make a watch perfect.
I looked at one of these in a store today. They are NICE. wow. If I wanted a GMT I'd buy it. I liked it so much I went online to look if there is the ~same thing without GMT. (There's not really, but there is a different titanium dive watch from citizen that is also pretty nice). I will note, one issue with this titanium GMT that I saw in the store is the bezel is not aligned quite right. It's just a bit off and doesn't match up perfectly at 12/24 💔
So, I love this bad boy. When I pulled it out of the box I was blown away at how light it was. Thanks Rob & Scott!

The most perfect diver I ever seen!
That thing looks fantastic. One of the best looking divers ever IMO.

world best bang for buck also in black yellow bj7110 a$349 - a$399 Rob did the best review
Love Citizen, like the blue/white color combo too! Thanks for sharing this one Rob.

I have no need for a GMT watch, but I love that model. It's gorgeous.
Citizens QC and attention to detail always seems to be a step above (and I know I am going to get slaughtered for this)..... Seiko. Seiko is my favourite brand, but I am just saying facts
I think you’re correct👍👍👍
That watch looks great, easily enjoyable on a sunny summer vacation morning
Citizen has great lume. I just bought a promaster Ti on rubber

Citizen does a great job in quartz. One of my co-workers has a nice dress-ish watch with solar, alarms and radio time synchronized.
I’m so tempted to pick this one up.
It's nice to see such originality from Citizen. I'm a big fan of that internal 24 hour GMT scale!

Oh, nice! Tried in this baby around New Year, am giving it some serious thought. It's like the Citizen Mission Antarctica / 4X4 reborn.
Seems a good package, alot of features for the price seems a bargain at the price considering what Seiko offer for same price
The review I've been waiting for!
Just grabbed one from StarBuy Australia ,, thanks Bob ,.
This watch certainly ticks a lot of boxes. I like the black and yellow version better.
Great watch, Citizen is underrated.
I love wearing this watch it noticeably light compared to my stainless steel ones. I love the weight and dial design so much that I also purchased the red/white/black dial one with the rubber strap!
Which model nr is that one? The red black dial.
Fatih, The watch in this video has a blue dial.
I got one in all black and it is a fantastic watch
That is a beautiful watch
A new dimension on GMT's.
This watch is so cool...
Looks good. I've been eyeing this one. They sell them in Japan, and in Macy's....
I love how the GMT markers are fixed on the chapter ring instead of sacrificing the useful dive bezel markers - a GMT done right. Is the date change paired to the gmt hand or hour hand?
Rickey Bobby I’m pretty sure it’s the hour hand.
Great review, never seen this model as not too clued up on citizen.
Nice review! Do you know if the band uses a pin and collar for sizing the band or just a pin?
It kind of has an 80s vibe with that blue and white.
That is one deep dish watch!
Bit wary about the size, but it looks great. I think too big for me 😕.
Really nice watch. If it were a microbrand people would be wetting themselves with excitement.
Would this be too big for a 6.25in wrist? I think so 🤔
This one is on my list
Costco has an all blue version I plan on getting it
Nice! Btw, saw the 2 seiko clocks on both left and right at the back. Where did you get that?
I like it.
That's pretty freakin cool
Cool that it has a jumping hour hand, but you can’t move it backwards!? Advancing it forward will eventually change the date! How do you deal with this?
Very carefully 🤡
Correct the time first, then go back and set the date.☺️
Looks awesome 👍👍
Is that Chris Benz watch sitting the back ground?
That case was thicker than I had imagined but I guess typical for a diver.
Does it have alarm?
Sick watch!!!
Does anyone know what the bezel insert material is? Is it titanium or stainless steel? Thanks in advance for any help. Looking to pull trigger on the all blue face version as on offer in a UK retailer at moment.
Is it possible to put a rubber strap on this? Has anyone done it? Feel like an orange strap for summer would look awesome.
Why this watch is not belong to Citizen top list?

What’s the price?

Just wished the GMT hand was lumed
I'm thinking it's pretty flashy for a GMT. First post. Wow.
👍
I have the all blue variant of this watch, awesome spec for the money. Lume, it's the one slight dissapointment, my BN0150 has much better lume.
I love it. I am glad it doesn’t have the blue lume Citizens so often have. The green is much brighter to the human eye!👍. This one must have been made in limited numbers. I only find it for $400 and up. That’s much pricier than most of their divers. Too bad, I really dig the design.

This is good to know. You had 6 so it isn’t random.
Could it be once a month window light was insufficient? Starving the capacitor? Just wondering….

Put in a dome crystal and this would be a very cool and unique watch.

It's a pity it is so ginormous. 10-inch wrist size an absolute minimum.
Okay that answers my question above lol sigh, that's one thing I hate about citizen most of their watches are massive, I have pathetic 6.25in wrist 😭
🤡
Not a bad beater I suppose, but overall kind of meh!
And I suspect you would think the King of Meh (Rolex) is not meh, correct? 🤡
Great info. Hard pass o citizen though✌️
