My voice commands appeared on the screen, but the car never took action on them. Have you had that occur? Not sure why, but it was eventually back to normal.
Not sure why so many like the MG4, it feels cheap, we looked at one here in Thailand and still prefer the Ora Good Cat, looking forward to see the 2023 BYD Dolphin although thanks to BYD only wanting to use LFP the battery is a little small at 45kwh, but I guess that should keep the price down
I had a range rover with it years ago, it had to learn your voice. The tutorial would take awhile and it never worked properly anyway. And it was basic and just a gimmick. This is the first time lv seen a system that really works.
Hmm can you turn off the Hi BYD? The mic has to be on for it to hear its own wake word. Not sure I'm comfortable with that in a car that has internet connectivity... Who knows what data is being shared with BYD back in China. Same would go for any manufacturer really.
This is actually something I was thinking about. Where is the data going for the car and for your user account etc? Is it local servers or offshore etc.

Tom, get my Atto3 in NZ next week. BYD says to charge battery to 100%. What are your thoughts on charging a LiFePo4 battery.
Correct, charge your LFP batteries to 100% regularly - about once a week. Same goes for Tesla LFP variants.

@@gregb1599 BYD Dolphin is available with 60.48kWh battery in Australia. The same battery and electric motor as the Atto 3

It depends on how much you drive each day, you could slow charge each night and have enough each morning
