Kev, you're so right. All bands can do good studio recordings, but with CP it's not just the music, Chris and Jonny ARE awesome with ad libs etc, but it's the total show. Going to Cardiff in a couple of weeks, this'll be my third time seeing them live......can't wait.
They're one of the greatest BECAUSE they don't sound exactly like their studio recording. If I wanted to hear something just like (get it?) the studio recording, I could just stream the song on Spotify. Chris isn't afraid to alter the tune and mess with the rhythm to create a unique and (imo) better sound, and that's exactly what makes them different and so special.

Dear Coldplay and chainsmokers, I was so young when I heard this masterpiece of music. I remember hearing this music in the back of a 2016 Toyota Highlander while traveling from California to Texas in the summer of 2017. I will Never forget this song
