FILM DESCRIPTION:
Interpol agent Louis Salinger (Clive Owen) joins forces with New York prosecutor Eleanor Whitman (Naomi Watts) to put an end to a powerful bank's funding of terrorism. As they follow the money from Germany to Italy to New York to Turkey, Salinger and Whitman find their own lives are at risk from those who will stop at nothing to protect their interests.

the bullet proof vest was useless after that point. Basically think of a bullet proof vest as piece of wood and a bullet is an axe. You swing enough bullets into it, it loses its integrity, plus a bullet proof vest is a lot of weight.
@@dealinginfiction That is actually completely incorrect. Ballistic plates shatter and fragment after being hit but he was wearing a simply Kevlar vest which doe snot become "useless" after stopping three rounds. Educate yourself before spewing nonsense. Thanks you.

@@dealinginfiction not an excessive amount. Since it's only kevlar, it would be about 10 pounds or 4.5 kg

Then again, a lot of movies give leeway in regards to a gun's ammo capacity.
@@mattc2306 Didn't Steyr actually invent that SMG but B&T bought the design from them? I've seen a legal semi auto only version at a gun store and it said Steyr-Mannlicher on the side.
@@largol33t1 Steyr did make the TMP (as well as the semi-automatic SPP) and B&T did buy the model, much like how SIG-Sauer bought the Colt Mustang to make the P238.
And given the lack of front handles, I'm assuming they're semi-auto models converted to full auto, much like the SPP used by Tapia from Bad Boys 2.
real guns ruined movies for me forever, he shot like 15 rounds out of a revolver and he kept shooting a fully automatic 9 mm submachine , with one reload and shot like 100 rounds at least

With the new 5G-connected SMG he can download as many bullets as he needs, it is called "streaming recharging", the same way we can see a movie in real time. The only condition is having a good antena in the area, for sure! hehehe

That and when they are running forward and shooting, you can see that the bolt isn't moving.

This is a great scene and a underated film.Clive Owen, would.had made a great Bond.
He actually did play Bond in Pink Panther with Steve Martin

Okay look, if a movie isn’t trying to be realistic, I don’t really care how many rounds gets shot, this was a pretty cool scene.
Before reloading, between this scene and the one before it. The Glock our friend is using fired 38 shots onscreen. With another five off screen based on sound.

The direction of this entire sequence invluding the previous clip, remind of a classic FPS whereby killing one set of enemies will spawn the next wave. I guess the movie makers had limited memory capacity to work with as well

This film's visual is so sleek.
Great job subverting expectations as well. The Contractor killed Clive Owns characters friend, but the real enemy is the bank that ordered his death. The contractor is just a tool and I enjoyed how they had to work together to get out of this area alive.
Sidenote: I LOVED THE CONTRACTOR IN THIS! He was so damn cool!
Infinite Ammo, no recoil, and cliche, a great scene btw
For those not in the know, they built the interior of the Guggenheim for this shootout. It was an awesome set.

As usual, they forget to show every shooter wearing a 40-lb backpack full of spare clips and reloading 14 times.
I remember watching this as a teen wondering what was actually supposed to be happening

Where did Salinger get the magazine to reload the machine pistol at 3:36 that he picked up? He just pulled a magazine out of his coat pocket when he reloaded, but the machine pistol wasn't his. Nevermind. The hitman gave it to him.

These guns are magic each mag holds 100 bullets and makes people bleed caramel
even though I don't know what SMG the bad guys are holding, I can make an educated guess that's has a capacity of around 20-30 rounds which the moment the main character pick it up he shot probably more than 100 shots already and from what I see, he doesn't even carry any spare mags
His armor went down to 0 and then his health.
Love how everyone sees a magwell grip machine pistol and immediately thinks "Uzi"

First of all, unlimited uzi/mp7 ammo, second, how about don’t take off the bullet resistant (im guessing L2) composite fibre plate, third, place some pressure at the place you get shot so you don’t bleed out as fast
