I got a 2 sprain on my ankle a few years ago. I was out of work for a month (waiter) and it was swollen pretty nasty for a week or two. I was trying to slackline for the first time. I didn't feel anything until I got off the line. I had to use crutches that month and my ankle has never been the same...
Perfect explanation! However I would like to ask a question. I had a sprain in my left wrist which took 5 weeks to recover, 3 months ago. However, recently after my workout, I feel the same wrist feeling tight again, only in pronated extension. Probably 10-15% as painful as the one that took 5 weeks. How long should I rest it for?
Thanks for your support! Sounds like you could be aggravating your injury during your workouts. If that's the case, it's not likely to fully recover. Link up with an outpatient Physical Therapist to figure out exactly which exercises you need to modify during your workouts. Hope that was helpful!

@@PhysioFood thanks for the good thoughts! I didn't break anything and I can walk and run fine but my RoM diminished : /

Hey it’s me again! If I do have a grade one sprain, how do I heal it? How do I know if I can return to the gym? (No pain, only aches, full ROM etc)
It takes a few weeks to let a grade one sprain heal. Follow up with your doctor to get clearance on gym activities. 🙌
