To be frank..I think he should be in 6's man of the year conversation for the next few years (assuming he stays at Boston an does not become a starter in different team)
they signed him to a 4 year extension this last offseason. Depending on what happens I could see them trading Jrue Holiday as he is 35 and letting Payton start next year. It would take a pretty crazy trade for the Cs to let go of Payton right now
