Eli: This video was a very good surprise for me today. I've never seen a video by you before. It just popped up on my RUclips screen. I found it very refreshing because I've never seen a video by a Russian in Africa. You mix very well with people and are very informative. You also look like a young Meryl Streep. Another great documentary, Eli. I liked the coffee-making part. It was very interesting to hear all those details about how the coffee came to Tanzania, how they grow it, and then they even picked beans, roasted them, and made fresh - I mean really fresh - coffee on the spot. And that sells product and helps the people develop businesses. I want to taste Tanzanian coffee now. I'm going to Ebay to see if you can buy it.
I agree the only sad part is the amount of misinformation in most details she got from locals. The Germans where not here until mid to late 19th century. The maumau movement did not happen in Tanzania but in the Mount Kenya regions which is way far from Arusha and the locals in Arusha where the Maasais who were known to be friendly to the colonizers unlike communities like Chaggas, Hehe and other southern small tribes that were rebellious towards the Germans. The soil in the market is used mainly by pregnant women as a kiy sourcefor important minerals to nourish the body during pregnancy. Great work only sorry you did not have the right guides. I can recommend someone I know though.
I met a medical technician here in Georgia, USA last week who came over from Tanzania 13 years ago. Unsurprisingly his accent was just like theirs. They seem to be very friendly people.

This city shows many things such as the desire of people to work and young people to apply themselves, the economy is one of those based on subsistence and craftsmanship essentially, and it's nice to see how they make certain things with artisanal methods. These realities have a strong potential that should be exploited without disturbing the environment and without their customs and traditions being abandoned.

@@annad6519 What you described about what Russian soldiers are doing in Ukraine is atrocious. But I have no reason to believe that the channel I follow is propaganda. In the end, I'm intrigued by Russian culture, customs, traditions. I won't hide from you that I also follow channels of Ukrainian boys because this war matter has attracted much Western attention to Eastern Europe. and Russia.
@@francescocursio4523 ok. Just want to point out that youtube is banned in terrorist russia, so I wonder how is eli coping with a threat of jail if she’s not a propagandist? Also, why is the channel in English? Doesn’t she want any of the 140,000,000 uneducated russians to understand what she’s saying? Hmmm.. since russians don’t speak English and cannot access RUclips, who could the English speaking be aimed at?! I wonder… What a great distraction Eli is providing from the mass murders in Mali and genocide in Ukraine the russian hicks are committing
@@annad6519 Have you noticed how many subscribers Eli has on his channel? If all those members were Russian, there are two possibilities: 1) or Russians who can't speak and don't understand a Russian word as you state, therefore, are stupid watching this girl speak in English; 2) there is a good chunk of the Russian population who can speak Russian. In reality, neither of these two possibilities is true because I don't think Russians are stupid to go and follow a channel where they don't know the language and, among its subscribers there are also me who am not Russian. She has created a worldwide channel and, also in this video, she introduces us to that African girl who follows and is subscribed to Eli's channel. I don't see any propaganda in Eli's channel content. For example in this video where he climbed Kilimanjaro and made a practically geographic video about a corner of Africa it's called propaganda to Russia. Also, is Eli to make propaganda for Russia stupid enough to endure everything he endured in climbing Kilimanjaro? In I don't believe. For me she is a girl who likes to travel and at the same time reconcile the journey of pleasure with that of duty in sharing what she visits with other people in the world, and by doing so she makes her channel grow and perhaps a future explaining in some television program concerning the geographical disclosure places that she herself has visited. Eli is building a future for himself with the help of the internet and the platforms that exist and I see nothing in all of this bad. Also, it is not true that youtube is banned in Russia. At most it is forbidden to talk about the special operation. I follow other Russian channels among which there are the channels of two other women who speak perfect English and do you know why? Because Russian is still a language that is spoken only in Russia and in order for Russians to communicate, they necessarily have to speak in English since it is the language that everyone in the world communicates with. Furthermore, Eli is trying to outsource Russian and Russia with a simple act: teaching Russian to those who want to learn it because they have understood that Russia can outsource itself through the language because a foreigner who can speak Russian, understands it and can write it is more interested and more encouraged to interact with Russians because I believe that the wall between Russians and others in the world is communication through the Russian language. So Eli is not staying. doing nothing but tearing down this wall by teaching other people Russian. And is this what he's doing propaganda? Or is it somehow wrong? In my opinion, you have some antipathy towards Eli.
@@francescocursio4523 OMG, Ivan, I don't have time to read your russian propaganda essay. Of course she’s a russian propagandist, and so are you! I would bet all my cash on the fact that you are not “Francesco Cursio” but “Sheremkin Ivan Valerevich” working from your village while sitting on a long drop toilet. I know a lot more about russia than you can imagine. Crooks, thieves, racists, murderers, uneducated, corrupt. There is a very very very miniscule percentage of genuinely well-educated, intelligent folks (mostly in StPetersburg, Moscow, and Ekaterinburg) but you know as well as I do that a large majority of them have fled overseas.
One thing I noticed about the people on the street there is they actually smiled when they saw you filming when I see so many videos of people in other countries usually the people on the street dont smile like that.

Splendid video Eli, as usual! Africa is amazing and also the people living in these remote places seem to be really friendly and thanks to your awesome report we may know it better. Thank you very much.
Yes, it’s the Africans that we are worried about! Russians are slaughtering them in Mali in thousands because like you, they were innocent and friendly. RuZZian propaganda works magic on simple minds like yours, ya?
"All the people... seem to be friendly". So, because you saw a short video clip from Tanzania, you conclude that all Africans are friendly? That's racist.
I notice you often meet lots of friends when traveling! As a woman do you ever feel nervous about traveling alone or meeting new people? You are so adventurous and I want to be like that too but I worry too much about people.
Eli, your videos continue to be fun, interesting, and insightful! You show us parts of the world that most of us won't ever see. It was so cool that you ran into a follower of your channel in Tanzania! And that you were able to meet with your friend Dasha from Siberia. Now I'm curious about the coffee grown there, which is done the old-fashioned way. That usually makes a product more flavorful. I checked on google, and it was stated that Tanzania coffee has juicy citrus notes, a honey-like sweetness, and a creamy chocolate mouthfeel with a smooth finish. It also stated that a hibiscus floral aroma harmonizes the cup. Now that sounds like a good cup of coffee!
Very cool! Watching your video makes me want go there too! Would be fun randomly crossing ways with you on travels. But I guess you're not going to be in Tashkent or Samarkand next Week. (((

I wonder…
What a great distraction Eli is providing from the mass murders in Mali and genocide in Ukraine the russian hicks are committing
@@annad6519 Have you noticed how many subscribers Eli has on his channel? If all those members were Russian, there are two possibilities:
1) or Russians who can't speak and don't understand a Russian word as you state, therefore, are stupid watching this girl speak in English;
2) there is a good chunk of the Russian population who can speak Russian.
Great genuine videos from you. Dasha looks like so much fun. She looks like my friends from Finland when they smile, rarely ☺
HI Eli from Russ. Great video as always Eli and we are loving them all🥰🥰🥰
Thank you 🤗
Congratulations to these two lovely pretty Russian girls to travels to Arusha, Tanzania in November of 2022❤❤❤
I can't believe that Eli is just across the border, I watch your videos about Russia and never thought you would ever come so close to home.
😉Don't go back without visiting Kenya, I'm in Mombasa right now, I'll make sure we meet. You cannot say you have visited Africa if you haven't visited the Coastal towns like Mombasa😆Welcome Eli, enjoy your tour
If you really watch her channel you would know she was in Africa months back, she's just uploading the video later on.
Great vlog as always Eli! You are a true globe trekker! You go girl! You like to climb peaks. Keep up the good work! You rock! Be safe!

Finally you get a video that shows the beauty of this country, and not the typical west video that shows only poverty.
I love their songs! So motivational haha
Wow you are in Tanzania. Thanks for bringing us there and it is very useful information to those who wanted to visit Tanzania.
If she brought you there, it would be human trafficking, which is illegal.

Asante Sana Elli! 🥰 beautiful 😍 coverage from Tanzania 🇹🇿
@@annad6519 I do not intend to talk about politics. I am just watching a video
"All the people... seem to be friendly". So, because you saw a short video clip from Tanzania, you conclude that all Africans are friendly? That's racist.
@@tjohanne You are racist
@@gabriellagirardi4741 Why? And against who? Only country i don't like is Russia, but I don't consider them a different "race".
I notice you often meet lots of friends when traveling! As a woman do you ever feel nervous about traveling alone or meeting new people? You are so adventurous and I want to be like that too but I worry too much about people.
I second this question
That's so beautiful post ! Thanks for sharing this.
Thank you too!
Wonderful video. A fresh view about this region in Africa. I hope that you had a great time there.
Thanks Eli.. Succes to all documenter. 👍👍
🇮🇩
We love your videos, Ms Eli! Take care & be safe.
Who is "we"?
The Adventures of Eli are Fantastic.
Viva Russia...
Viva la terrorism and child molestation?!? Weirdo!
@A Dude Zelensky is the Psycho, I think russia committed to peace,,
Connect your brain, bro. Her president just said that people leaving Russia now are "rats." So much for that country.
@@tjohanne I am not a supporter of any President, any country. I am talking abt fact. people have the right to move where ever they like...
Great video, Eli. You're a gem.
I love your videos! My 6 year old loves them too. Thank you!
Awesome! Thank you!
Maravilhoss Video; Thank you, Eli; I am from Brazil

Very cool! Watching your video makes me want go there too! Would be fun randomly crossing ways with you on travels. But I guess you're not going to be in Tashkent or Samarkand next Week. (((
So go, then..

Thanks kid - nicely done. Hope your life is as happy and wonderful as it seems on the videos.
The world can take a lesson from you and your spirit
Lot of information in such a short video. Will take some time to process. Thank you for the video. I hope you both have safe journeys always.
Charles, the nation that causes mass genocide, refugee crisis, hunger in Africa is russia. Trust me, the Tanzanians need to stay safe, not the russian propagandists!
Thanks for visiting us
