Is fascinating how such a desired place for people in reality has no soul. I was there, thanks Eli for speaking your mind and not only showing tourist places and how wonderful those cities are
Think about what you are saying. People have souls, places do not. Perhaps you mean that connection between people, which of course is more difficult when you don't know many people. And when you walked past a masjid, and heard the athan calling to prayer, it had no affect on you, so perhaps it is you that has no soul? It's just a perspective right? At least the government cares about it's people, and the leader has a vision, and has created a safe country. Now you can list all the other places that fulfill that criteria.
@@SA-cloud Whether you're a Muslim, or not, your thinking is very literal, like most Muslims. Of course, places don't have souls, but it seems that you don't understand figurative speech, (as in a figure of speech). When people talk about the soul of a country, or a city, it's more a figure of speech, than an actual soul, as for humans. But that might be too hard for your mind to imagine, isn't it? I'm not picking on you personally, since this's true for the 99% of Middle-easterners, of whom I'm one, myself, hence, Sci-Fi being the least popular form of entertainment here. As for the government that takes care of its people, yes, I agree with you 100%, because that's the only way that that form of government, as in the whole Middle East region, can actually justify its legitimacy, minus any form of a representative government. So, every Emir, or King, or even President, in this region, must act as father, who takes good care of his citizen-children, even treat them as little children, who must be rewarded for good behavior, and punished for misbehavior. And this probably explains why Middle-easterners in general are of the least emotionally mature people on earth, having the lowest EQ in the world. They live and die as some of the most emotionally retarded people in the world, live and die never knowing the true taste of freedom, live and die never knowing what personal sovereignty is, live and die never knowing what complete independence and self-sufficiency is, live and die never knowing what total self-responsibility, and live and die forever remaining the emotionally-retarded children of their Emir. A society without renewable wisdom, creativity, arts, invention, technology, without ever reaching its full human potential. Oh, but they're so good at recalling and remunerating their past accomplishments, as well as, in imitating Western culture to the extent of following them into the shaft of a lizard (as per the Hadith of the Prophet).
@@kauaimu Wha, so complicated! Don't be so crazy, because, yes democracy is wonderful, but do you really know what's behind it? Take the UK. The people really have little control over their elected representatives. They can walk into the parliament, and lie, you you know it's a lie, but they pretend it's the truth. I am not like others you may happen upon, not at all, for I know much more about this reality than most know is possible. And that isn't just some idol talk. For a moment, imagine what I am saying. Yes, you will meet very few people that really know. Oh, don't jump to conclusions, I'm simply a shadow, I hardly exist, only from time to time, I was made to understand things others do not. Humans can be the most noble of creatures or worst than animals. The race is the same for all, some have decided to understand more than what they eyes deceive them to understand. Some, were rewarded beyond what they deserve, but then, truly, He creates and chooses out of them. We are only here for a short while anyway. Oh, and my imagination is first rate 🙂- I will delete this post, you will not understand.
@@kauaimu you don’t speak for Muslims, Middle Eastern people, or anyone for that matter. You have a personal hatred you just projected on a stranger. Your opinions are very bias. Arabs in general are arguably the smartest people in the world. Just because you’re from ignorant people personally, doesn’t mean you have the authority to speak for all Arabs and or Middle Eastern people. Pathetic. And so very condescending. I know you “didn’t mean to be rude” but you have no class and it shows.

As always Eli, thank you for such a beautiful outlook on life, you are so refreshing, and gorgeous as well. ❤️
Hello Eli, try Philippines. You'll find beautiful places here. You will experience Filipino hospitality and of course, our delicious foods. Am sure you will enjoy learning our culture. ❤️
Great job trying to understand the country. Going beyond first impressions. Travellers' Wisdom. Awesome shots. That mountain range at the end was amazing. And i had to lol when Hasham was trying to teach you the pronounciation. 😆 Rent is cheap ! According to Google, the income goes from €2700 up to 4000. Holy moly.
"Rent is *cheap"* you say ?? But according to what Khasham was saying in the video, a typical flat goes for anywhere between 8 100 to more than 8 700 $US per month...!! That makes even *London* appear relatively "reasonably priced" 😆.... Might those figures have perhaps been misprints or miscalculations then...??

Oh Eli...and I forgot to mention. Regretfully our government go along with the US agenda and put sanctions on Russian related banks. Now we are under Putin's list of non-friendly country towards Russia. Can you tell Putin that I'm so sorry about it and I'm not a part of it please? I'm longing to visit my Russian and Ukrainian friends in Russia someday :(
Russia is my favorite country. Moscow is amazing and has nothing to envy to other world capitals such as Dubai, New York etc. Abu Dhabi is nice! If you like people go to Iran, they are amazing and so welcoming.
When I visited Dubai in 2015 I didnt get to see or do anything bc I was sick and some other personal reasons but I too did not enjoy it. I also felt its only shopping malls and busy city buildings etc. Everything was far and had to walk alot or drive alot so it was really miserable. I am like you in that I prefer a place with nature and locals sharing their cultures not shiny new buildings
You really do do excellent videos, Eli. I had a feeling you'd be going back there after your statement last time 😂 glad you did, really interesting seeing you trying the place out in more depth.
Idk if you are still there, but another video I saw recently on the UAE showed the “Old City”, basically the original parts of it. A bit away from all of the fancy stuff. Now that is an area to explore and that is where you would find the part you were missing Ron this trip. Your everyday people, lots of immigrants from all over, informal and more chill. Everyone appeared to be more relaxed and happy. I’ve never been here, but one day, I would love to see both aspects of this city built up from the desert :) It’s just a unique city in how it grew.
The best thing I like about UAE is the diversity of people. You learn how to respect different cultures, try different foods, know about them and may be someday you may visit their countries. I would like to thanks Hasham for being one of the best representatives of my country. Much respects to him. Much love from 🇵🇰 to you Eli
I lived with my husband for 3 years in the Emirate of Sharjah. Like you mentioned that you felt that the Emirates don't have a soul. I agree with you. I didn't like the heat and the opulence also. I use to escape during the heat to Holland or the US.
We are expats living in Abu Dhabi, UAE. We’ve lived here for over a year. Before we came, I watched some RUclips videos talking about how bad and fake this country was. After over a year living here, I fell in love with this place. It all depends on how you live and your perspective. The locals and expats are just normal human beings like you and me. In response to some negative comments, i want to say don’t diminish a country before you even live here for some time. We have a good life here, and my family is very happy to have moved from Switzerland to the UAE. Love UAE❤
4 days in the UAE is enough to expose the graft and sex slave trading ....it's a place of smoke and mirrors really .money hungry bastards are everywhere . The bloody rag head Arabs would sell there own mothers for $3 Tourists whom try to embrace the place are treated as shit with all thier 400 years out of date , Islamic bullshit laws bestowed upon them
At the end of it all, UAE is just a place, like everywhere else, with positive and negative, and people make out UAE has no soul, but everywhere else has a soul. 😒 Also complaining about seeing the sun everyday, whilst some, don't at all mind greeting the sun everyday after having lived in countries where it's grey and cold. So it just depends what you like, and what you are looking for. Every single country started from some point, the UAE is no different. Why do people expect in such a short space of time, it could grow to be perfect in their thinking?
Oh, please, do let's know if you're willing to live the rest of your lives in the UAE, and not move back to Switzerland after you saved all the money you possibly could!

Great work on the video Eli, they're looking better every time!
Love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩🇧🇩
I always like your videos, the way you explain both sides of the story very well, without offending, its your gift in skill. You also speak your mind clearly, that comes through. Thankyou
now can you imagine me as an African ,dealing with Russia's winter ,I would take a week of snow over a week of 40 degree heat ,but vice versa if it comes to a year ,I can take the heat longer
I am the opposite, I definitely prefer the cold. But I do prefer dry hotness to humid hotness.
Thanks I always wondered about that place
Hello Eli, I really like the Russian culture and the work you are doing to promote it.
I like your honesty input about the culture and the place.
I lost track of you for several months. Thank goodness you popped back in my YT feed (I am old--smile). I will be catching up on your videos. If I didn't tell you months ago, I will tell you now: you are an exceptional person. I hope for the sake of the world that you find a place where that talent is free to create and share.
Türkiye has many Russian people now that have escaped Putin‘s regime I think Eli would love it here🤠🙋♀️
Great vlog as always! Keep up the good work. Be safe!
Youre friend and her husband seem like really wonderful people
They really are 🫶🏻
Thank you for such kind words. 😊
The Emirates! The place I prefer to visit online. Thank you for the opportunity!
Bravissima Eli.
They understand your English all right and are enthralled by the unusual scenarios you show in your travels, especially those concerning the wild regions of Russia. Sometimes I need to give them a short introduction to the topic, just to explain who you are and what you're trying to do. I think you have improved a lot lately. ciao
Fascinating video Eli. Many thanks
Hello Eli 👋
Thank you for another very interesting video. And very informative as well. We get the opportunity to visit these places with you as you travel and share your experiences with us. I really appreciate that.
I spent some time in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait when I was younger and yes I agree, it can get very very hot there. But, the people always treated me with respect, so I cannot say anything bad. It is always very nice to experience different cultures and try their foods.
As always Eli, thank you for such a beautiful outlook on life, you are so refreshing, and gorgeous as well. ❤️
love your videos, great to see you traveling out and about the world.
Hello Eli, try Philippines. You'll find beautiful places here. You will experience Filipino hospitality and of course, our delicious foods. Am sure you will enjoy learning our culture. ❤️
Very nice video! I learned so much in this short video!❤
Peshawri krahi i like that pakistani guy he look so humble i also from peshawer 🇵🇰
Thank you 😊 i like peshawari food too. Recently we were in Pakistan and we posted our vlog in our channel
Eli,your English is very understandable,I love watching your video...watching here in the Philippines...stay safe always!
Great job trying to understand the country. Going beyond first impressions. Travellers' Wisdom.
Awesome shots. That mountain range at the end was amazing.
And i had to lol when Hasham was trying to teach you the pronounciation. 😆
Rent is cheap !
@@alexysq2660
Per year. Listen again.
@@chriswatchingponies9877 Oh, per *year;* i had missed that actually, thank you. And yeah, you're right then: that actually *is* pretty cheap 😆...! ~🩷🩵
@@alexysq2660 It was not per month. It was per year. In UAE rents are calculated per year. I think you misunderstood.
@@Ouroldchannelkk Yes, i'm afraid i had at first missed that it was per year actually; am so sorry 😒, but am certainly glad to know that you are not actually paying so high a rent as i'd originally thought/misunderstood it to be 😊...! ~💖
First time viewer of any of your content. I enjoyed it very much. I am now a subscriber to your channel and gave the video a like. Look forward to more content, thanks for your hard work in delivery interesting info.
Go to Costa Rica. You can get a refuge visa there temporary residency. You will love it there . Pura Vida . Nature . Lovely weather and people. I know . I own a home there.I also
Been to Dubai 5 years ago. I know how it is there
Eli i like ur videos. Love from Bangladesh.
How would a Russian stand the heat of Dubai, you're amazing
As a Russian I can tell you that there is AC every in UAE and you will not be in direct sunlight mostly.
Thanks for making and sharing this video...I believe you didn't have chance to see enough of this country...I believe there is actually a lot more
Hi Eli you're lucky to get to travel around much and share so many interesting videos. Love em thank you! I too..wish to have a climate with 4 seasons but here in Singapore is boring. Average temp is 26~32°C throughout the year. I hate the humidity. You will not like it too! :)
Oh Eli...and I forgot to mention. Regretfully our government go along with the US agenda and put sanctions on Russian related banks. Now we are under Putin's list of non-friendly country towards Russia. Can you tell Putin that I'm so sorry about it and I'm not a part of it please? I'm longing to visit my Russian and Ukrainian friends in Russia someday :(
I enjoy the videos, keep it up!
Russia is my favorite country. Moscow is amazing and has nothing to envy to other world capitals such as Dubai, New York etc. Abu Dhabi is nice! If you like people go to Iran, they are amazing and so welcoming.
⚜ another great adventure Eli thanks
Uae, qatar, bahrain & kuwait will be much better soon, but saudi arabia will still be the biggest economy in gulf nation
Thank you for sharing
When I visited Dubai in 2015 I didnt get to see or do anything bc I was sick and some other personal reasons but I too did not enjoy it. I also felt its only shopping malls and busy city buildings etc. Everything was far and had to walk alot or drive alot so it was really miserable. I am like you in that I prefer a place with nature and locals sharing their cultures not shiny new buildings
Are you sure you are really not meaning that about usa because everything you mentioned is exactly goes for USA too
@@mustsphamatto3601 I don't like usa either lol. I'd rather live in Europe. Switzerland Germany or Sweden Norway in the forest. 🤷♀️
Given the geography, extreme heat and opulence, it seems very similar to Las Vegas.
And just as soulless.
Las Vegas has homeless, drug addicts and conmen. The UAE dont.
Well said!
@@ElifromRussia Eli, it's a real shame that you don´t visit Dyatlov Pass and Khamar-Daban in Russia and upload videos from those 2 famous locations.
Kudos. A charming video.
I should be learning Russian with you Eli.
I like the idea that history is now and unfolding. I'm going to keep that idea for everywhere I go, not just the UAE. Thank you.
The bloody rag head Arabs would sell there own mothers for $3
Tourists whom try to embrace the place are treated as shit with all thier 400 years out of date , Islamic bullshit laws bestowed upon them
At the end of it all, UAE is just a place, like everywhere else, with positive and negative, and people make out UAE has no soul, but everywhere else has a soul.
Thanks for the boot-on-the-ground reality test.
😀
Oh, please, do let's know if you're willing to live the rest of your lives in the UAE, and not move back to Switzerland after you saved all the money you possibly could!
Go back to Korea
hi Eli how are you i'm sergio from perú i want to tell you that your accent in very good i like you are my favorite guide to speak english i'm your fan i love you

Very interesting, thank you

Oh , i was in Abudhabi UAE long time ago🥀 its beautiful place! We were caught by sandstorm in the middle of the night 🤩 thank you Eli for sharing your experience too.

Eli beautiful vlog. Thanks
...Eli the plot twist expert :) ..the real reason for visiting UAE not yet revealed..so can't wait for the part 2 😎👍
