Thanks! Just picked up the tc electronics infinite sustain, which is the freeze with nice add-ons. This is great inspiration and guide. Thank you.

Thanks for the super thanks! Much appreciated. Have fun with the pedal. I've heard great things about that one.

This is the first time I've seen a video about a product that I've never heard of and then ordered it 10 minutes later.

I hope you enjoy it Mike! Such a useful practice tool. Make sure you check out Bill Frisell using it.

Really handy video, I'm trying to get my EHX Looper to make a continuous drone but I haven't worked out how to make it loop as smoothly as this. It kind of reminds me of bagpipes!
Where did you get your strap from? I Googled a bit but couldn't find anything like it.

I've not had any experience of the EHX Looper. Can't recall where I got the strap from. It's a suede strap if that helps :)

Hi Andy , I am looking for a pedal to practice modes and I am confused whether to go for a looper pedal or Ehx freeze ? Any suggestion would be very helpful. Thank you .

Either would do the job. I think the freeze is good for just focusing on working on developing your ear of sounds against chords as you can think of it as in free time. This means you can kind of ignore rhythm and just focus on the harmony and the sound. Looper would probably be more useful in the long run, but it does a take a bit of practice to get the timing right with the loop.

Does Boss make a freeze pedal?
I see several Boss models have some kind of freeze or hold function but do they do what you describe?

I've not heard of Boss making one. I've heard TC electronics have something.
