I had that same impulse and the ul19 the impulse was a fantastic boat,the ul19 was terrible struggled to get on plane with awful turning ability,that was just my experience

i HAVE A MOD the Black Jack 24'' and the SonicWake is next on my boat! I like to jump through the waves like you were doing and not have to worry about Bloody swimming to the middle of the lake when it flips over.

Hey guys I got the boat and I was having a hard time getting the batteries to be secure in the cradle with the velcro straps that came with it. Any advice to get them to stay more secure? when I popped the top off the batteries were loose Im using two 5000mah 100c batteries and they just seem to fit right..The boat ran great tons of speed but I cant get those batteries to stay secure with the stock straps? Any advice I would love it. Thanks again
I need support, I have a sonickwake so far I have swam without sticking the tape on the flap and you know after turning over the water is inside. yesterday I taped the tape and after 1 turn I would say that the same amount of water was in the middle, where the water gets ?? if the boat does not capsize, there is no water.

I spotted a loop connector, tried one on mine to run a single 6s battery but that won't seem to work. Does it work with you on a single 6S though?

For such a high speed, weight of the boat got to be too light. I think put some weight inside of it will be more stable

I bought this boat 3 months ago because of this vid. Unfortunately, mine has melted the solder on the EC5 every time I've ran it for the last 4 attempts, even with the stock prop. Now I'm in $600 USD including batteries and I can't get much for it used. Wish I was lucky like you gents! Nevertheless, thanks for the video. Cheers

Wow that thing is really unstable.
I think it's quite stable myself. The water there is pretty rough and it was upright for quite a while considering how often it was leaping from the water.
Just got my #Sonicwake 36'' Deep V! How do you THE DEEP V's compare to driving the Cataramans? Did I overhear one of you that you like the Sonicwake better than the UL-19 Pro Boat?
UpliFT-RC UL-19 is one of those tweak and tune boats that need glass conditions to run, the #Sonicwake is an awesome out of the box piece of fun

Never heard of them before to be honest mate. You want to get decent quality batteries for boats as they get hot due to the lack of cooling. There is no airflow in a rc boat hull. The batteries can puff up easily if they are not a good quality, high C rating.

Rc Car guy - The stock Tx and Rx is a bit limited on distance in comparison to our TFL Fleet which we run Futaba Rx and Tx (7PX), servo is sluggish when returning to neutral but can be fixed with a waterproof 20kg Savox servo. Well worth the money

These are our own branded batteries. Generally used 5000mah 4s 60c or 6000mah 3s

Traxxas has one that is bigger and can handle 6s and traxxas is cheaper and traxxas makes better products. Waste of money for this one
Traxxas Nation traxxas also has great teach support as well.
But traxxas boats won't self right!!!
this boat takes 6S. And once this boat is tuned I promise you it beats any one of the traxxas boats. Oh and it self rights so you don't have to worry about that part.
