Great report Phil! Very exciting prospect. Yeah, I can't see Jobe leaving mid season. He's fully invested in our mission for promotion. His professionalism and integrity are everything to him. He's a class act is Jobe. We are just blessed to have him, help lead this battle to get back where we belong.
If we pull this off and Samed gets fit along with Rigg and Browne, we'll have one of the best midfields in the Championship. That will give Le Bris players he trusts and possible he a little move rotation in the midfield which will give us a more dynamic setup as teams won't know who he'll start with.
The 5 year plan they said. it’s coming together finally. would love to see the whole team to stay together and build from here to the premier. thanks for the stats update.
Thanks for the brilliant update and Breakdown Phil. Sounds like RLB knows Le Fee can play multiple positions and is a manager and squads dream. Absolutely brilliant signing if it comes off! I agree about Jobe think he is invested in the club and if he can add a promotion to his CV this year will be a great achievement and will be playing premier league football next year without having to leave! Le Fee could be Dan Neil’s replacement imo as he still hasnt signed a new deal and in his last 12 months in the summer
Phil, I have watched his clips on you tube. He can take free kicks corners passing is excellent he is fast and very direct most of all he can score goals.
I looked at his goals to games ratio, and it didn't look too good, but if he is contributing to others putting the ball in the net, that sounds a plus. With his 5' 8" stature it's probably worth noting his initials are ELF! 😂
Given that we need players who can make an immediate impact, What are his fitness and confidence levels like? Hasn't played a lot. Can he cope with the physical nature and the sheer hard slog of the championship? Looks like his hamstrings might be a little bit suspect. That's the risk. The reward far, far outweighs that. Impressive stats but the eye test is simply mouthwatering. If he can come anywhere near close to his best form he will have more impact than Amed. He will light up the league. Jobe looks like he has a clearly defined development plan in place. Don't think this includes jumping at any opportunity offered by a Premiership club. He hasn't got a greedy self-serving agent. Harte certainly didn't act in Clarke's best interest and why did Ipswich sign him as backup to Davies?
All these stats are really irrelevant to the championship because first of all after signing the lad needs to be bedded in, he needs to settle into a totally different culture that he's used to so it's all ifs and buts at the moment !!! But we can only hope for the best !!!!
