    As a Dane, I particularly enjoyed the way Whitehouse's character couldn't be bothered with actually producing sounds when speaking; quite spot on Danish, I'd say 👍

    I am a Scandinavian and this was the funniest imitation of our languages I’ve ever heard -especially little Pingu! 😀

      It's funnier when they say "hurdy gerdy hurdy gerdy hurdy"
      Like we say "ahawhee hawhee haw" when we are taking the piss out of the French & "Ethethethethethethe" when we are taking the piss out of the Spanish.
      The English are very good at making fun of the way other countries speak. I could do you Indian, Chinese, Australian, American etc etc.
      Although if the people have coloured skin that's considered "racist". If they have white skin it's just considered light hearted "banter"... it's the way the world works in 2022!

      If the English were all black people or the Australians brown, it wouldn't be allowed!

    Watched a lot of these Scandinavian crime shows just a couple of years ago, and generally loved them. But this sketch is absolutely hilarious.

    This was moving. A sad look at the break up of the family, a critique of the lawlessness of our modern times, the normlessness of the younger generation and the bleakness of the future. I felt quite emotional and this is just the preview. Does anyone know where I can find the full movie?

    Pingu was one of my favorite shows to have my daughter watch when she was a little girl. I think I liked it more than she did.

      Fr Cluc This was from the Story Of The Twos, a 2014 spoof of the 50th anniversary of BBC2. The most famous joke in the programme took the mickey out of panel shows, and has Paul Whitehouse as Paul Merton constantly shouting “Is it a dolphin in a bathtub?”

    This is excactly how i conceive scandinavian crime series. Sometimes a single noun sounds like an actual word, the rest of the time i just hear white noise. Nothing against people from the region btw, it's just the language-thing that gets me. Abba's great, as is Nokia.( yes, one is Zweden and the other Finland.)
